Great value, no frills ibuprofen

It's a huge quantity for cheap and is indistinguishable from the other hundred brands of ibuprofen out there. Ibuprofen does more for my arthritis than any other pain reliever, with the added benefit of not being processed by the liver like Acetaminophen, which is preferrable depending on the strength of your liver and what other medications you may be taking. Just make sure not to take this, or any other NSAID (or Acetaminophen/APAP/Tylenol) every day if you can avoid it. They have a side effect of reducing your gut's ability to regenerate the essential mucus lining and that leads to GI problems like ulcers.

GREAT BUY!!

These bottles of Ibuprofen came even earlier than what I expected. I love their bright color. I put half a bottle of Ibuprofen and another half bottle of acetaminophen in small rice bowls in my room, hidden away by some books. My friend asked why do you do that. My response was simple. I HATE it when I am sick and have to navigate opening the jar, lining up the arrows, and so forth. Bad enough to feel sick. But worse to know that help is on the way in a bottle I CAN'T open! So, kudos to this vendor. Great product and fair price. I will buy again from this vendor when these run out.

Great generic option, right to your door

These are great generic Advil sent right to your door. The Amazon brand is reliable and honestly the generics are just as good as the name-brand for a product this far into it's life-cycle (Advil is an old brand!). Don't think you're getting anything advanced - these are the old school brown pills. Simple and effective for pain relief and reducing inflammation.

Generic Ibuprofen

It works great! Why buy the name brand when the generic works fine. The only thing I will say is that there are a lot of pills in the bottle so if you don't need to take it as often as I do, it's going to take forever to use it up.

Basic Care: Ibuprofen, a great product

I liked that fact that there were 500 tablets in this bottle. I use this product, Ibuprofen for headaches. I guess that you can buy Ibuprofen at any location but when you don't have transportation ordering from Amazon is very convenient and this wonderful product is delivered to your front door!

Great substitute for Advil!

In the world of pain relievers, Advil has always been my go to. Helps keep the fever down, helps in addition to antihistamines for hay fever (allergy season!!), helps during tough lady days, and of course, helps with pain relief. As a graduate student, its very necessary to keep it around as you go through a lot! These tablets by Basic Care are just like Advil, but at fraction of the cost! You get 500 tablets!!! That just can't be beat. And they work, so no complaints. To note though, they do not have that slippery coating like Advil to make swallowing the pills (without water) easy. You can still do it, but just have it with water and all issues will be avoided.

I use this a lot. As an amputee with occasional phantom pains, I take 2 in the afternoon and 2 before bedtime which seems to control any onset of the pains although I have a pain prescription that I seldom have to use. I started taking these about 15 years ago for joint pain and arthritis per my doctors advice. I noted that after a period of time, as a side affect, my psoriasis problem cleared up. I have heard that extended use over time can adversely affect the liver and kidneys but I am going on 85 years old and have not noticed any affect. I suggest any users consult with their physician for use over any extended time period as a precaution.

Works the same as other brands I have used.

I normally use the Kroger brand Ibuprofen but they were out of the size I wanted. I decided to try Basic Care from Amazon. This brand works the same as the Kroger brand I've taken for years and it's about half the cost. I'm sold. I will be trying out other Basic Care products.

Welcome Back, Old Friend

I have lupus with severe chronic pain. Ibuprofen has been taking the edge off that (I do not use narcotics or other pain relievers that make it harder for me to be fully present) for almost 20 years. But it can harm your kidneys, so when my labs came back a little sketchy, I stopped until my lab were normal again for a couple of cycles. As of yesterday, I'm back on and feeling much better. This is a trustworthy brand, and the price is excellent. Recommend.

college survival tablets

Are you a college student? Do you ever get migraines caused by lack of sleep? Do you ever wake up with cricks in your joints because you deliberately slept on the floor so it would be uncomfortable enough for you to be motivated to get up after only 3 hours that night? Do you have killer menstrual cramps but still need to hike around campus looking for a printer that's working? Are your wrists aching from typing so much in a non-ergonomic position because you only have a laptop instead of a proper keyboard and desk setup? WELL THEN THESE ARE FOR YOU! With 500 pills, this is an excellent buy. If you ration it out with yourself, you may even have a few left to share during the semester with friends! Plus, if anyone doubts how hard you're working, this provides an excellent visual example to show them how much of your health you're sacrificing for the sake of education– and if that doesn't work, you can just throw the thing at them to get them to shut up. And to top it all off, it gets delivered right to you, so you don't need to plead with one of your friends who has a car to drive you to the store and/or pay exorbitant prices buying it from the campus bookstore. I can't recommend this enough to my fellow students
