This is really great paper! I am a professional watercolor artist and I think this paper surpasses other top brands. The price makes me very happy!!!! as I also a plein air painter and this paper absorbs and retains the watercolors beautifully.

Full price is a bit much, but I would buy again at discounted rate

I'm a watercolor beginner and unfortunately, you can't really practice on any old paper. I didn't need anything fancy, I basically wanted to get the most bang for my buck so that I wasn't thinking about making a mistake on my "expensive" paper. First, I bought the Canson spiral mixed media notebook for around $8-$9. It includes 60 7x10 98lb/160g sheets. It was good enough to get me started, but when I began to run low, I knew I wanted to try out some actual watercolor paper that was at least 140lb cold pressed. I really lucked out finding this product on sale! It's only 130lb, but it is still a huuuge step up from what I was using. Also, a sheet of 9x12 paper is pretty huge. The original $20 price tag would be a little steep for me, but I found it on sale for $12.99 and I couldn't be happier! This will last me quite some time, and if it's still on sale when I run low, I will definitely purchase again!

Love the Feel of this Paper

I received the package of paper tightly wrapped with no wrinkles or bends to the package. The paper has a wonderful soft feel to it yet is very sturdy and doesn't appear to bleed through to other side when using watercolor paints. Have not tried markers on this paper yet so am unable to comment on that. I will buy this product again!

Great Stuff! Now All I Need Is the Talent!

I like this brand of watercolor paper. With some loaded watercolor brushes, I plan on a nice, quiet, relaxing, summer of expressing myself with paintings of my garden and animals. Maybe these blank sheets of paper will turn into something beautiful.

Okay for cheap

In expensive watercolor paper. It holds water. It doesn’t fall apart when you scrape on it a little bit. It’s not the best. It is good water paper color for the price. Not stiff.

Great for lots of layers

This paper works great for watercoloring with preschoolers. They can put multiple layers of water and color without the paper ripping.
