Only use if back seat head rest adjust up & down
The idea is great. Only thing is it does not work well on a 2014 Honda CRV. The headrest in the back seat are not adjustable so you cannot use the attachments that come with it to install. I ended up using 3 small bungee cords to keep it in place. Was kind of loose but still worked well. I rated 5 stars because I did not feel it was fair to rate the product low simply because of the way my car is made. The idea is great and those of you who have adjustable head rest should not have a problem using this product.

Secure dog gate
This is my third dog barrier and easily my favorite. The instructions could have been more clear -- it took me about 2 hours to install, but I was working alone with 2 fractured fingers and impaired vision, so with a helper, half an hour or less seems a reasonable expectation. The plastic pieces will only allow limited tightening, so one of my side "wings" is a bit looser than I'd like, but its done a terrific job of containing my 2 adult German Shepherds, who are young and strong. We live on a potholed, washboard dirt road and it hasn't rattled whatsoever. Its adjustable in so many ways, I think it could work with nearly any car (mine is a Honda CRV), but do check measurements in advance. I installed it behind the back seat, allowing the dogs to ride in the cargo area. I may add screen to it later, but so far, its eliminated 90% of my issues with flying dog hair. Maybe for someone else it might be easy to remove and reinstall easily, but I wouldn't recommend that -- I plan to leave it in place full time. It doesn't interfere with floor space like the vertical bar types, which my dogs easily rearranged to come through. I would highly recommend this one.

I finally found something that can keep my German Shepherd out of the front seat.
I finally found something that can keep my German Shepherd out of the front seat. It's very strong and durable and holds up to her pawing at it. She's full grown and very strong, so I was worried that nothing would work. I haven't been able to attach the extended sides to it yet because there isn't enough room on the back because of how the latches attach. I'm going to have to attach it on the opposite side to remedy this. Either way, she hasn't squeezed through those small gaps just yet.

Fits great in my 2004 4Runner
Fits great in my 2004 4Runner. I use it attached to the two front seat headrests to keep my 2 80pound dogs from getting up to the front seats. Easy install. Sturdy. Looks nice. Does exactly what it's supposed to do. Perfect.

This is the Screen You Need
It took about 20 minutes to install and it works great. It stops our 75 lb Labrador from riding in the seats. No tools are needed to install or remove. It comes with instructions, but you really don't need them. We bought this for our Hyundai Santa Fe, but I can see that it would work well in our Honda as well. It is a must for dog and SUV owners.

The Jumbl Backseat Pet Barrier (Jumdbar) Works Great with the Tesla Model 3
We like to travel with our dogs and recently purchased a Tesla Model 3. One of our first purchases for the car was the all-weather cargo mat for the trunk because it's next to impossible to get the dog hair out of the trunk lining material. This is also the reason we wanted to have the dogs contained to the trunk area. Our dogs are about Beagle size and the Model 3 trunk is large enough for them to stand up and move around. We had been looking for a barrier that would allow us to put the back seats down and contain the dogs in the trunk area so that they have plenty of air circulation provided by the rear vents. We first tried a cargo net, but this was messy and I had to zip tie the netting to all sorts of things in the car to secure it. So then we tried the Jumbl Backseat Pet Barrier. After a few modifications, it works great. I had to cut and grind two of the wires on the grid to allow the barrier to fit over the seat brackets. I attached the two side panels low on the barrier so that they are secured by sitting behind the seat backs. Then I found I could use the two hook attachment bases that came with the barrier to secure the barrier to the brackets as shown in the photos. It works great. It's clean, easy to put in and take out and the dogs love it.

And she insists car rides go like this. Now that I have a new suv
I have a large , pita, hard headed bulldozer of a bloodhound who likes to stand on center console and drool on my shoulder when I drive. And she insists car rides go like this. Now that I have a new suv, it was time to restrict her to cargo area. Those screens were easily pawed aside. The tubular dividers that brace roof to floor were bulldozed with her big floppy head. No matter how tight I wrenched it down. The wire divider is the only one that works. I guess partly because it looks like kennel door and the rest because it is hooked very securely to head rest. No budging this thing. And the side extenders prevent her head from getting around edges and trying to wedge it over like with tubular dividers. On a negative note. It is a bit of a pita to set up but worth it. My dog now sufficiently thwarted can now only give me sad floppy puppy eyes through rear view mirror. And she knows it too. We make eye contact every time I look in mirror. But .... she is so much safer there. In event of an accident I have confidence she will be contained and secure.

A++ In my Nissan Xterra!!
This is the first pet divider I have tried. My dog loves car rides and goes everywhere with me. Nothing worse than stopping at the store after the park and a wet dog sits in your front seat. This is perfect in my Xterra!! Works awesome, fits awesom and I couldn’t be happier! I laid my seats down, put a SUV pet cargo blanket down then installed this.

Contains dirty dogs
Have a 2018 Mazda CX-5. My dogs destroyed my old car, not happening again. Have 2 terriers, 30 and 45 pounds, there is room enough for them in cargo area but they could jump over the seats hence need the pet barrier. For me was easy to install. Put in the main piece but ran into a problem putting in “wings”. The placement of pieces to hold main part of barrier interfered with piece to attach wings. Was thinking how to move things around when I realized there was only about 6 inches open space on each side of main gate, a space too small for my dogs to get through. So I didn’t use the side pieces. Barrier minus side pieces has been in my car for a week. Dogs are contained, doesn’t rattle or make noise. All and all, including reading instructions took me under 10 minutes to install. Would guess that now I know what I’m doing it will just take a minute or two to remove or reinstall.

Barrier works very well in our 2018 Subaru Outback. ...
Barrier works very well in our 2018 Subaru Outback. All parts were in the package and went together smoothly, attaching to the head restraint posts. It leaves the entire floor area of the "wayback" free so our Lab doesn't have to avoid anything, and we have access to the entire space when he is not using it.
