Excellent!! This is the best already-cooked bacon (non-refrigerated) in the market today! Tastes like real fresh bacon!! :) I add these quickly to sandwiches and even homemade pizzas for incredible flavor!! Best tasting bacon ever! :) A+ UPDATED: This bacon is DELICIOUS! It is real bacon too! BUT..... I have previously ordered this bacon from Amazon several times before and last times, the bacon pieces were DRY and CRUNCHY until heated, which was perfect and awesome. BUT the last package I got from Amz again were SOFT and moist pieces! Weird. Anyone notice the difference??? Are the moist ones (when you open package before refrigeration) safe??

This Bacon is Dy-no-mite!

I use bacon quite a bit, not just to eat for breakfast, but as enhancement in other dishes (salads, soups, almost anything tastes better with some bacon). I used to slave away, frying up a couple of pounds of bacon and then refrigerating or freezing it until use. But this cuts right to the chase -- cooks up fast (20-30 sec in the microwave, depending on your wattage and your taste for crispiness, will do it), cleans up easily (no more massive quantities of bacon grease to dispose of; just wrap the strips in a couple layers of paper towel, zap in the microwave, and voila -- you're done). Flavor is good, shelf life is good, packages can be frozen until you need to use the bacon, nothing to complain about here.

I bought these because I am on oxygen 24/7,can't cook by open flame (oven range). You understand I'm sure.... This Hormel Fully Cooked Bacon, is a God send ! Yeah really! Toss them into the microwave,(30sec.) And Heaven comes out of the Microwave ! LOL.! Fantastic!!! You might like a...,BL&T ? This is the bacon to use for that. Bacon and eggs ? No Problem ! (Yes,you can do eggs in the microwave). I bought 2 of these, gave one to my Sister,She Loves them!

Working very well for us

This is our 2nd purchase of this item. We really enjoyed the first package. It's great to have bacon whenever you want it, without the mess and extra time. These are thin, but still do have great bacon flavor. It also helps them warm up quickly. You can nuke them in literally 10 seconds, but we just prefer to slap 'em in a fry pan instead, 5 seconds per side. They're separated in the pkg by a wax-like paper between layers, and the pkg itself has a zip for re-closure. We're finding great consistency so far, and this has already gone on our everyday list.

Mmmm... Bacon

On a blind taste test, my family members couldn't tell the difference between this bacon and bacon cooked from raw. It's a good brand with a great taste. Also, check out that great expiration date and shelf life. I wish they offered it in other flavors, like maple.

Perfect bacon, all the time

I love this. It takes 30 seconds in my old microwave, (on a paper towel) to become perfect, ready to serve bacon, and if you like yours crispy (I don't), perhaps 10 seconds more. It's incredibly convenient, tastes delicious and I plan to keep buying it from the seller.

Great Bacon !!

Got it quick and in excellent condition. I stick the package in my big freezer the minute I unpack it. It stays there until we open it and start using the bacon. Then it moves to the top freezer in my fridge for easy access. Yes, I keep it frozen and then take out what we will be using for breakfast/sandwiches etc. each time. The pieces are easy to separate and crisp up nicely in the microwave. The package seems to last forever. And it is wonderful, tasty and so convenient. By keeping the package frozen, one need not worry about expiration dates. The package is thin and long but still easy to store in the freezer. It just slides in on top of everything or on it's side, upright. Takes up little room. Comparing the number of slices to the cooked bacon by the 'big name' at the grocery store, I am saving about $ 10.00/$ 15.00 with the free shipping at Amazon. This is my second or third order and I plan to always keep this item on hand.

My favorite food group

I love my country, so I love bacon. Years ago I would fry bacon, today, I am older and wiser... easier to use pre-cooked bacon. Just double wrap in paper towel, 3 or 4 slices on the paper towel. In my microwave, I nuke them for exactly 14 seconds. Different microwaves, different times, just experiment. . Delicious.... but sometimes it is difficult to eat just 3 or 4 slices. . I have my bacon, I don't have to clean up a frying pan or the stove top... and I save myself some time by not having to get the skillet out, fry the bacon, cleanup the stove afterwards.

As described

This holds as much as 4 packs of raw bacon and yet it is cooked already, making it very handy. The strips are nicely packaged and laid out flat. They are soft but can be crisped up some with heating. Very convenient and fast to have on hand.
