Installed on my 2003 F250 Crew cab truck. It is a short bed (6.5'), but there is enough length in the cable to reach a long bed if required. Single RCA cable from the camera to the display and another set of wires for ground and to wire into your backup light. The rear camera image has the lines to help with backing up. Image is great on camera and easy to view. I don't know if the LED lights help or not since I have extra reverse lights. They do look bright when I pre-tested the system. This is connected to a Pumpkin 10.1" Android 7.1 stereo and works perfect. I would recommend this to anybody and would buy and install again.

I bought this camera to replace one that came with the monitor I had purchased from another company. The ERT01 is a much better camera. The color is much, much better and is significantly brighter than my old camera. Installation was simple, as the hookup was identical to my old camera. Customer service was exceptional. I had ordered a second unit to use as a front facing camera. This unit was not designed to be used in that manner (forward image was reversed). eRapta sent me the correct camera with no hassle. A simple email to them was all it took. New unit arrived in 3 days. I am well satisfied with the product and the vendor.

This camera is awesome. If you don't want to hard mount your back-up camera, this is the way to go. While it is obvious, and sits on top of your license plate, it doesnt look out of place or strange really. It could also be mounted higher, above your plate with a little modification. The picture quality is excellent. One thing to note is that the "guide" lines are somewhat useless since they obviously don't turn with the car, so cutting the loop wire will remove them. I personally suggest doing this. I also disabled the guides on my stereo, so I can just see the feed, unobstructed. Another thing to note is that the lights on the camera are bright white LEDs, not IR lights. If you're using it as a back up camera, be sure to wire it into your reverse light, instead of a constant hot. Otherwise it will be lit up all the time. If you're planning on using it for anything else, note that when the camera is powered, those bright white LEDs are on. They do help with the image though, and even late at night, during rain, the picture is really clear. The field of view is pretty wide, but not so much that you lose your ability to judge the space covered. I'm not sure what the degree rating is for it, I'd guess around 110 to 130. It's enough to see anything you'd need to see within reason. I've been using it for a month now and I am very happy with its performance. Like I said before, the picture is very clear, field of view is easy on the eyes. And the onboard LEDs in concert with your reverse lights, provide ample light for the sensor. If you're on the fence, get it!

Good camera - much better than the Audiovox it replaced. Better night vision, field of vision and guide lines. It took me about 40 minutes to switch out the camera. It would have been helpful if the camera had a marking or clear instruction for which direction is right-side-up and I had to re-route the wiring behind the camera in order to get it behind the license plate. As-shipped the wire would have been hanging below the camera, across the license plate. Also the mounting bracket is plastic, so be careful bolting it on. You also have to be aware of how much of the license plate it covers. My registration sticker is on the top right and this camera bracket covers the month number of the registration sticker.

5 stars for customer service. ERT01 camera was ok, 3 stars maybe. I bought the camera due to the IP69 rating. Picture was decent but I also experienced the purple tone on the screen particularily on trees and things that are supposed to be green. I reached out to eRapta and their customer service was amazing. They mentioned they had a run that had that issue but most do not have that anymore and that I must have got an old one. They were very responsive and worked with me to exchange it quickly and hassle free. I ultimately ended up deciding to upgrade to the ERT03. Will hop on here and update this after I receive that one. Fantastic customer service experience.

I installed this on my travel trailer so that I can see while backing it up. It produces a clear image and the adjustable angle of the camera means I can compensate for the somewhat wonky angle of my license plate. It is important to note that many trailers do not have reverse lights, and, therefore, no means of powering the device when the vehicle is in reverse only. I wired mine to the tail lights. Hence, I can turn on the camera just by turning the lights on in my truck. The camera will come on whenever I drive with the trailer at night, but if I decide I don't like that I can put a switch on the power wire under the dashboard of the truck. This unit makes a great second camera. I already have a back-up camera on the truck, but the display has two inputs. I wired the trailer camera to the primary input, so whenever the trailer is hooked up, that camera is displayed. I used a hard wire to connect the truck camera to the display and a wireless transmitter for the trailer camera. This product comes with a power wire only. You will have to decide how you are going to connect it to your display, and obtain appropriate hardware.

Worked great then went crazy. Greens went to purple pink blue. They sent me a replacement and that camera as well was doing the same thing. They have offered me a new camera different model that cost more. And I accepted it. So for this review of this camera I would give one start all day But customer service on he other hand is awesome. Quick reply’s and very helpful in trying to solve the problem. So 1.) this camera ERT01 is not good 2.) customer service is excellent so I give customer service alone 5 stars

So far so good. First time using AND installing a backup camera. My biggest reason for choosing this is the reviews for customer service. Who puts in their product description if it's broke we'll make it right? lol. Standing behind your product, A+ in my book. Hopefully, I won't have to use them. Having a full-size supercab truck, I was worried the wire wouldn't be long enough but there was plenty left over. At first, I couldn't get it to work but after tweaking the settings on my radio its worked great. For the price, it definitely seems like a deal! Is the picture HD? Na. But its way good enough for it's intended purpose. Every now and then when the sunlight hits it just right the picture "whites out" or it's hard to see. Just as if you were to look directly into the sun. Haven't used it at night yet. Will update if anything changes..

I bought this unit based on the good reviews here and the camera really works well with great picture quality. I have now used this camera for over two months connected to VX7022 with no problem, recommend the product !!

Update: they stand behind their product and have great customer service. Replaced with a better model at no extra cost. Original review: After the first rain the camera stopped working all together. Wiring for this unit is very low guage and cheap, making wiring in somewhat tedious. The colors that the camera displays are way off. It tends to go go almost black and white if you have the camera activated for a while. Otherwise, there are strange purple and pink hues on everything. Not terribly impressed, but for 20 bucks what can you expect.
