Happy pet momma
Super satisfied!! Purchased these two cleaning machines off amazon: the bissell pet hair eraser vacuum and the bissell turbo clean power-brush pet. Best purchases ever!! I only shampooed the dining room so far (it probably gets the most in and out, along with everyday traffic). It made a total difference. My carpet looks like new. Smells great! Which is saying a lot with two dogs in my house. Anyone who knows me knows I’m always cleaning and my house is rarely every messy/dirty; but it’s always been a struggle trying to get that lingering doggy smell out. And with Denali’s husky hair it was so hard to get all the hair to pick up with my old vacuum. This new one. It picks up everything! I was amazed. Both machines were easy to use and easy to clean. All for a great price! Money well spent. I highly recommend. #cleanfreak #adultlife #petmomstruggles #Bissell💯

Surprisingly powerful machine!
First off know, it’s smaller than the usual shampooers. However, that means it is lighter. MUCH lighter! No more hauling crazy heavy machines up stairs. Some people don’t like mixing the water and shampoo. I fount it easy. It’s clearly marked where fill lines are. IT DOESN’T LEAK WATER! My old one leaked out the back. This one, no leak. I vacuumed before shampooing and, quite frankly, I thought my vacuum as good. Well, looking at the dog fur the shampooer pulled up...my vacuum isn’t as great as I thought! The carpets are CLEAN. I used it in area rugs and on my carpets. I have a lot of carpet. Now yes, it’s smaller so there’s more work, but it’s lighter so it doesn’t seem that bad. Easy to clean. I am impressed with this machine. Moreover, it really sucks the water out of the carpet. My carpets were clean and DRY within an hour. That’s even the really bad spots (like in the photo) where I went over the areas twice. Impressive! By the way, this is five dogs muddy paws and glacier silt on the carpet...hard stuff to clean!

Very good at what it does, and easy to use as well
I've spot-cleaned my carpets, but never even considered really cleaning them other than vacuuming. Probably this is because I dislike carpeting in general, and my intent is to replace it all with a mixture of hardwoods and tile in the future. However. I have them for now, and they need to perform the best that they can while they are around. I decided to give this little guy a try, and I'm glad I did. It is very easy to use, is lightweight, and the handle collapses in case you can store it someplace short. Mine will likely take up residence in the garage when I'm done having fun with it, and the lower weight helps with that. I should add that while it is very low weight when empty, filling it with cleaning fluid does make it a little heavier - probably a few pounds. I followed the instructions and used the included cleaning solution. I was surprised how little solution it called for, with the rest being water. That is good because it means the little bottle will last longer than you might expect. It specified warm water, and not super hot. Normal residential hot water is around 120 degrees, which is below the limit they specified, so you will likely be okay using hot water from the tap. If you aren't sure, check with a thermometer. If it is a lot higher than 120, you need to turn your hot water heater down anyway because that could scald people. The water from an instant hot, however, is over 180 degrees, which is too hot. Don't use that or you'll deform the plastic and cause all kinds of damage to the unit. I was disappointed that it didn't heat up the water, as heated water becomes a very effective solvent, even without cleaning solution. The more expensive ones have this, but they are also heavier so there is a tradeoff. The suction power of this thing is fantastic. Basically, you run it over the area while holding the trigger to deposit fluid forward and back, then release the trigger and do the same thing to suck up the water. It will still be damp afterward (it isn't magic), but not soaked. I was initially somewhat disappointed with the results but came back later when the area had fully dried and I was very impressed. There are several cleaning solutions Bissell offers, so I ordered a few of them along with the Boost products that are intended to be added to existing solutions to make them better for specific tasks. They are very concentrated which makes the price more reasonable than it might appear at first, and the reviews are generally very high so I'm looking forward to doing larger areas with them. One thing I hadn't considered was how nice the right carpet cleaning solution can make the room smell. I enjoy scents, so this is very appealing to me. They do make unscented solutions for people who don't like that. Emptying the dirty water tank, which is in the head of the machine, was very easy and it clips on securely when fastened. This entire machine has clearly been thought out and refined to be as easy to use as possible, and they have succeeded in this. Other than having the water heated, the only other thing I would want is a retractable cord instead of having to wind it onto the provided posts. I had a vacuum with this several years ago and it was great. Not the vacuum, unfortunately, just the retractable cord. ;-) Overall, this is a really great way to get into the carpet cleaning business. Sean Logue, 2017

Great for spot cleaning pet stains.
For $100, you can't go wrong. I bought this while house training my two little chihuahuas. I just kept the tank filled so that I could deal with accidents as they happened. This isn't idea for shampooing a whole room, but it works great for spot cleaning. It saved my back. Getting down on your hands and knees to clean pet wee wee out of carpet is for the birds. Pro Tip: If the pet urine is still wet, only use the vacuum suction on the first few passes. Don't start by wetting it with the shampoo. Suck as much of the wee wee out of the carpet as you can BEFORE you apply the shampoo. Drag the head of the shampooer over the carpet slowly. You will see it suck up the urine. Once you drag it enough times that you don't see anymore urine, then apply the shampoo.

Great find!!!
Love it! This is a small, more compact type of shampooer- not your typical big heavy thing you have to drag around. Sucks up water like a champ!!!! Works amazing. We have a pet and the people who lived in the house before us had MANY pets that left many odors and issues. This shampooer whipped the carpets right back into shape. Amazed at how well it works. Best $100 I've spent on a cleaning machine. Some people say it's annoying because it has small dirty and clean water tanks, so you have to refill/empty more times than you do with a large shampooer, but this one is so light, and powerful, and efficient, that it doesn't bother me one bit. Easy to put together, super easy to take apart to clean it. We bought the urine eliminator with oxy boost cleaner by bissell and the deep clean + oxy by bissell. Both amazing cleaners. Pet one is a must have for the pets!!!

Revived My Old Carpeting
I haven't shampooed my bedroom carpeting in a long while and it showed! I wasn't sure if there would be a carpet cleaner powerful enough to reclaim my 25 year-old stain-ridden beige rug used by humans and pets alike. I should probably get new carpeting, but I'm of the mindset of "once the kids move out..." therefore I'm trying to extend the life of the carpet a few more years. Enter the new Bissell Turboclean Powerbrush Pet. I've had cats for many years and right now we have 4 furry friends in the family. They are indoor cats, so our dirt level may be less than those with pets that are indoor/outdoor. However, after using the Bissell, I was amazed at how much fur was collected despite regular vacuuming. I had a Bissell several years back and it was a huge, unwieldy mammoth -- but it did a pretty good job and lasted several years. Subsequently, I rented Rug Doctor machines at about $25 a pop, but pretty much gave up after our local store stopped carrying them. I was delighted to find this easy to assemble and use gem. Despited its underwhelming appearance, it is a full size upright carpet cleaner and it does a better job than any machine I've used before. In fact, it cleaned our old rug so well that I'm almost embarrassed to see how dirty it became without regular shampooing. This machine is actually fun to use as it deftly sucks up the dirt right before my eyes. It did a near perfect job, but like shampooers in the past, it didn't fully eradicate set-in stains like red nail polish or my teenage daughter's blue hair dye drips. I highly doubt there is a remedy for that level of carpet abuse. As it fills, it's important to move the machine slowly to prevent the dirty water from sloshing from the front exhaust vent. The Turboclean Powerbrush Pet does spit out clusters of cat hair intermittently, but they're easy to pick up by hand. When finished, the lightweight collection tank is simple to remove and empty. It does take a little time to fully clear the tank of debris though. The comprehensive instructions clearly illustrate and explain how to use and clean the machine. The Bissell Turboclean worked beautifully to bring my rug back to a respectable level. This mighty little powerhouse does a great job deep cleaning my tired old carpeting and the supplied sample of DEEP CLEAN + OXY detergent fills the room with a fresh pleasant scent. ~ Kort

Good solid cleaner for those of us who like to regularly clean our carpets. Takes a bit to learn how to use it correctly (slow and steady to avoid suds flying out the side) but after that it’s easy to set up, add water and cleaning liquid and start cleaning. First time I used it on my carpets (7 years since moved in) the water was black. So does a thorough job cleansing. Not so good at getting spots (still need the spray on kind) out. Overall solid cleaner for those of us who like a clean home.

Okay, I’ve never really posted a review but this thing is AMAZING! I recently moved back into my parents house and I have always thought that these carpets where a grayish brown, but after cleaning I have come to realize that they are a beautiful cream color lol my mother said for as long as she could remember they have NEVER BEEN CLEANED! 😱 I just cleaned 45+ year old carpets and they look amazing.

I’m very pleased with this product
I’m very pleased with this product. We have 3 dogs in an apartment on the second floor. Accidents happen regularly. Our apartment smelled like dog and the stains were atrocious though we did our best to clean them. Enter this product. Set up was very easy and it took a few minutes before I realized that it was more effective to pull the wash trigger when you’re pulling back vs pushing forward. The bottle part is clear so you can see wash the dirty water come into the holding part. You can see when an area needs more cleaning because you can see when the water is almost clear vs when it dirty which happens when you go over a spot in need of more cleaning. You definitely have to vacuum thoroughly before using this cleaner. TIP: when cleaning the dirty water part, remove the filter, swish the water around a bit to collect any hair or fuzz that was sucked up, and pour the water it through the filter end and not the “pour dirty water through here” area. It makes clean up a lot faster!
