Great quality - my 4 yr old loves it!

I purchased this Melissa and Doug Vet Set for my 4 year old son who loves animals and playing doctor. He (and my 6 & 8 yr old boys) have played with it every day for the last week since it arrived in the mail. The dog and cat are attached to my son's side, even when he's not playing vet. It's a really nice set and has a lot of fun stuff for play, like the cast and cone. :-) The boys have also done checkups on their other stuffed animals. This purchase was a hit and already worth the money after just one week! Very happy I made this purchase.

Awesome Set w/ cat & dog!!!

Two year old LOVES IT!!! The pieces are a good enough size and everything fits perfectly into the bag. It is AWESOME to have the little bottles of ointments/lotions (empty,) so baby has her own & doesn't get into actual lotions & ointments. Everything is a perfect size and it is SO nice that this kit comes with a cat & dog!! AWESOME.

My grandson wants to be a veterinarian so this toy was perfect!

I bought this as a gift for my two year old grandson and he loved it. He immediately went around to listen to the hearts of all his stuffed animals. The set also includes a velcro bandage, a cast and a cone to protect the animal from itself. It has a checklist to see what is wrong with the animal. I think Melissa and Doug have the best quality toys and I am always happy to buy from them. My grandson may not end up being a vet but this toy will help him play like he is one. Even my older 9 year old grandson was eager to play with this toy. I highly recommend this toy because of it's great ability for children to develop their imagination.

My niece loves it

My three year old niece loves this. The stuffed animals are a good size, and all the pieces seem to be high quality. There are lots of pieces for kids to play with. Everything fits nicely in the bag.

Love that it comes with cat & dog

Got this for my daughter for christmas she almost 4 & she loved she the 1 that found it on here & went crazy for it so i got it for her she loves it 1 thing i really like about it is the jars of medicine & stuff like that with tops really open so u can put real stuff in it if u want & i lke it comes with the cat & dog so u dont have to choose it does come with the bag to put everything in but it falls out easy i wish it would of came with something u can shut or zip over all she loves her play set she uses it on her pet animals real animals & her baby dolls & real people lol but its nice for kids that love playing with doctor stuff

Worth every penny!

I bought this on a whim when it was half off, and I am so happy I did!! It’s truly great quality and I can see so much fun play time. Everything is durable and all of the containers can open, just like real bottles, etc which makes it even more fun since you can add your own things inside. I also love the attention to detail, with small little sayings and the Vet checklist which can help guide children with imaginative play. I’ll definitely be checking out their other imaginative play sets! (All items in picture except the tweezers which was out of frame)

Melissa and Doug Never Fail to Please

I have purchased at least 10 Melissa and Doug products for my grandchild and every one of them have become permanent fixtures in toy collection. I know that when I purchase from Melissa and Doug that the product will be of high quality and last.

I could give this 6 stars I would. My 7 yr old has taken this out in every Playdate and we have lots of play dates. I bought the children’s Vet uniform to go with this. It works so well alone if together. If your child likes playing doctor or caring for animals, this is a great set. And I love that you can Lu it away in the doctors bag right after. 6 stars!!

Fun vet kit for kids

My daughter received this for her third birthday & has not stopped playing with it for weeks to date. It includes two plush animals, a bunch of other vet tools & a check-up sheet. In our home pretend play is not limited to the only the two included animals. As every plush animal, real animal & person has been treated by our in-house vet/doctor & we are all in good health now thanks to this kit. 😁

Another Great M&D Set, But Prefer M&D Wash and Trim Dog Grooming Set

For Christmas kids are getting M&D Examine and Treat Pet Vet Set and the M&D Wash & Trim Dog Grooming Set. Having seen both sets now, and if I was only going to get one set, I'd get the Wash and Trim set over the Examine and Treat (this was a surprise to me because I thought I'd love the Examine and Treat set more). Pros: 2 Pets/Patients Pet Cone (I didn't see other sets with anything similar) Thermometer has a knob and insides spin 2 fabric reusable bandaids are really high quality and should be easy to use Stuffies are nice quality and the plastic bottles and equipment seem sturdy Shot has a movable plunger There are few vet kids available and this one is a really fun set Cons: The carrying case is quite flimsy and a little too small I wish the stethoscope made heartbeat noises You'd get more medical equipment with a human toy medical kit (e.g., blood pressure cuff, knee tapper) Overall, I'm very pleased with the set.
