This Does The Job (And Many Don't)

I'm delighted by how easy it is to use and clean this, and how confident I can be in both wet and dry grinding. Admittedly done more of the wet, used to make a couple chutneys (and grind a couple small bits of spice for them), and the results have been lovely. I cook for myself and one or two guests, typically, and the size is perfect, and the price is remarkable given all that. I will say I was able to grind small amounts of cumin seed handily, and I think getting a small amount of spices nicely powdered is perhaps more impressive than doing so to a larger amount, so unless there's a surprise when I try to do more later, I think this speaks well of the dry capacity as well. And I already dropped the plastic cover once, onto a fairly hard floor from a low counter height, and not a scratch! I don't recommend this test (too many variables!), but I've had some covers like this that just took any opportunity to crack or shatter, so that also reassures me. An actual pleasure to use, and the results have been wonderful.

Versatile, well constructed and easy to operate.

This grinder was well constructed. The cups were easily twisted on and off. I ordered this because I had problem removing the top cover of my old one due to arthritis on my fingers which was a common design for most coffee grinders. Finally found this one and it could also a small chopper that I could chop onion ,garlic or ginger for my home cooking. The pretty design looks good with all my stainless steel kitchen appliances and small gadgets too. That is a plus!

Excellent spice grinder.

Nice quality grinder. I bought it to replace my spice grinder. This does an excellent job of grinding everything to a nice powder. The cup on top is large enough for several spices to be ground at once and does it very quickly. One cup is meant for moist applications and does pink pepper extremely well. Easy and fast clean up is a major plus.

This little genie is a wonder!

I was in the market for a wet and dry grinder/mixie after my magic bullet broke nearly after a decade of good use. Something to make coconut chutneys, ginger garlic chilli paste etc. Did not want to invest in a Ninja,Blendtec, preeti etc because I already have a blender and a processor and I am happy with them. Also wanted to move away from plastic jars. This little genie is a wonder! It really took under 30 seconds to grind almost whole nutmegs to a reasonably fine pwd altho there was one out of 4 that ground to 3/4ths and I did not want to push the unit beyond its 30 second limit it has so advertised. Ginger garlic pasted was good too, again in an instant. I will most likely update after a few months of use. So far so good!

This thing is FANTASTIC

Previously had a cuisinart grinder - lasted for several years and did just fine but the blade on that model was elevated a bit from the bottom of the grinder cup and had a plastic middle piece (that broke). This grinder solved my problems and grinds coffee MUCH better than my old grinder. The blades themselves lift slightly off the ginder cup bottom but the middle of the blade is secured to the grinder cup with metal, not plastic. EXCELLENT results thus far and highly recommend for the price. *Note* haven't even used the bonus chopper cup yet either. This thing really is top-notch.

Very nice machine.!

I tried it twice so far and it works really well.! I wish it was a little bigger in size of 3 cups or more.! I would like to suggest the manufacuturer to produce bigger size machine! I bought this mainly for grinding chutnies and ginger-garlic paste in a bulk quantity. So it is little too small for that purpose. But I still like it since it does a good job getting a small quantity done.!!

awesome product

Its a perfect grinder for grinding . making chutneys and nuts.It's beautiful compact and has modern design. Stainless steel containers are awesome and are very easy to clean. Containers are of perfect size, big enough to make chutneys for a week. Love it!!

small size, short time to achieve the fine result

We bought this product to grind garlic, dry hot peper and coffee bean. We tried this several times so far so good. Because this is a small size grinder, it only takes about 20 seconds to finish the job each time. But the result coming out is fine. For small family and those who few cooking at home, this machine is right for you. It is also very easy to carry with you when you go to travel. It is easy to clean.

Nice little machine

We have only used this once so far but it really seems like it will do whatever we need. We grind peanuts to make our own peanut butter and it worked like a charm. The deciding factor for us was that there are two small bowls, one with a single blade and one with 2 blades. We figured the double blade would be best for grinding nuts. It worked like a charm.

Easy to use process, suitable for small nuts and chopped fruit.

The Chulex grinder came with two bowls- A chopper and a grinder. I had orginally anticipated the machine to be smaller, but it was a tad bit larger. Following on, the grinder also had a plastic cup which went over the bowl, pushing down to start grinding. The noise quality is very low, and the grinder was stable throughout the whole process. Overall, I enjoyed this product as it was easy to clean- I do reccomend this product to be kept away from children, the machinery makes it easy for small fingers to get hurt.
