This brush worked perfectly to clean my lodge cast iron pot. I just added hot water and the solid plastic scraper side easily removed the burnt on stuff without damaging the surface of my pot. I had tried and tried unsuccessfully to clean it prior to finding this brush. The brush is sturdy and looks like it will last for years. I would recommend this brush to my friends.

After reading some negative reviews, but mainly due to being on a budget, I bought this brush.... I’ve used it at least 10 times and it’s still holding on strong. It fits perfectly in my hand, the strong bristles though enoug to get the job done but gentle enough for the pans, worth the buy.

If you properly care for cast iron, you know heavy soaps and soaking are a no-no. This scrapes off stuck on food so much better than the sponge we’ve been using, and I appreciate knowing it isn’t damaging the surface of our skillet. My husband is a stickler for our cast iron, so this went in his stocking ;)

I purchased a le creuset cast iron grill years ago because I don't have access to an outdoor grill. I probably wouldn't have purchased the grill had I known how difficult it was to clean inside the deep ridges of the pan with a sponge. I finally decided to look for items to help with the cleaning process - like the Full Circle Tenacious C Cast Iron Brush and Scraper with the Caron Doucet - Cast Iron Care Bundle. We cooked burgers tonight. You can see the mess it leaves in my pan by looking at my attached photo! For reference, it normally takes around 30 minutes of soaking and cleaning the grill to clean the pan. However, I used the full circle tenacious C cast iron brush with the cast iron care bundle tonight. I was able to slash the time of cleaning my grill to 10 minutes. I have never been able to clean my grill so well. It looks like a NEW PAN (see photos). Pros of the brush: 1. I really liked that the brush was able to get into little corners and crevices that a normal sponge can not properly clean. 2. I was a bit nervous because the bristles of the brush seemed a bit harsh. I thought maybe it would scratch the surface of my pan. However, my pan was totally fine and I believe those bristles helped me properly clean the pan Things to note: 1. I read in other reviews that the brush handle is defective. I personally did not experience that issue in my one time of use. If I do experience it at a later time, I will edit this review for my findings. Overall thought: FINALLY, an item that helps me clean quickly and efficiently! The brush is inexpensive and effective. If you have a cast iron (especially a cast iron grill), you should definitely purchase this brush. This product deserves FIVE STARS!

This makes cleaning my cast iron skillets a breeze. Just scrub while running the skillet under water and done. The bristles are strong and do a good job of cleaning but the scraper on the back is great for the stuck on bits. Highly recommend.

This is super strong and easy to use. Pans I used to have to soak for hours can now be cleaned so easily. Highly recommend

Love this product. Others said issue w/breakage of the handle. NOT me. and I am a tough girl on my scrubbers. Use this daily on my cast iron griddle, comal, bacon press and skillet. Will be ordering another. Just incase this one ever gets lost!

I always burn my hands trying to clean my cast iron pan with my chainmail. I like that the handle is thick and feels very strong. The bristles are thick as well and it was able to scrape the stuck on foods left behind without ruining my nails. This was a great stocking stuffer for all my friends that love to cook with their cast iron pans.

Confession: Yes, I am an owner of the Stainless Steel Mesh Cast Iron Cleaner. Moreover, I've been a frequent user of the product with several of my cast iron skillets. The concept behind these "chain-mail" style scrubbers is that they efficiently scrub off everything from caked-on grit to burnt cheese, leaving your precious cast iron skillet looking clean and refreshed (don't forget to oil your cast iron after cleaning it). And while I have no plans of retiring my chain-mail scrubber, the frequency with which I use it changed dramatically after a conversation with the people behind the Field Company - makers of an American made cast iron skillet that is significantly smoother and lighter than similar cast iron brands. What I learned in that conversation was that while effective, the chain-mail scrubbers can prove to be overly abrasive on some cast iron - particularly those designed with a smoother interior finish. Here's the deal, nearly all cast iron these days is sold pre-seasoned, so it seems logical to just expect it to behave as promised right off the bat. But it's not quite that easy nor straight forward. In truth, the seasoning on cast iron is in a constant ebb and flow. You build up layers when you cook with it, but then you'll also lose a few layers here and there — after cleaning some particularly stubborn food bits, for instance, or after cooking something very acidic. The aim is to build more layers of seasoning than you lose, eventually accumulating a silky smooth, gloriously shiny, deeply blackened cooking surface. Enter the Full Circle Tenacious Cast Iron Brush. Not wanting to risk the seasoning that my cast iron skillets were building up, I opted for the brush. The product relies reinforced (but not metal) bristles and special scraper to do the heavy lifting of cleaning my pans. The heavy duty bristles do the hard work of cleaning away the unwanted gunk without stripping away the layers of season that will make my skillets the envy of friends and family. Bottom Line: Cast iron rewards loyalty. Take care of your skillet and it will take care of you - and the Full Circle Tenacious Brush is a great place to start.

Great little brush for a great price, I had been using a brush I bought at a local box store...this one has much stiffer bristles and holds up nicely to a warm cast iron pan...will buy again once I wear it out...well constructed and a great addition to any cast iron cooks kitchen
