It works just as well as the named brand

I received the package quickly and in perfect condition. I immediately opened and installed both the water and air filters. They both went in easily. I ran 2 gallons of water through the filter to flush everything out and now it is business as usual. I am so impressed by the product and the cost that I will be using this product from now on rather than the expensive name brand.

It arrived exactly when I was told it would

The products appear to be the same as what came with the refrigerator and significantly less expensive. There is no way I would be able to tell if they are the same as the original or better or worse, but I trust that they are significant for their purpose. The products were delivered just when they were supposed to arrive. That is always a plus in my mind.

We are a family of 6, plus 2 dogs, and so we drink a lot of water and use a lot of ice. We installed these filters — water and air filters— in our Kenmore elite refrigerator a couple of days ago and you could, quite literally, taste the difference. Not all of these replacement filters are alike. I tend to over research everything, and am pleased with these filters. Some brands will say “improves taste, and reduces contaminants“ but does not give you any data. I like the fact that this brand actually has been certified by external testing and tells you the amount of chlorine and lead etc. that it removes from the water. Also, I think the Amazon listing says that they are good for 200 gallons or 6 months, but actually on the units themselves in the package it says 300 gallons or 6 months. 300 is quite good for these kinds of filters and is fairly normal. Just an FYI, but that to me makes a difference since that’s 50% more than some. It was also a plus that it came with a three pack of the internal air filters for the refrigerator. We’ve used these since we got the refrigerator and they really do take away bad food smells that can haunt a good refrigerator. We will definitely be using these from here on out. Great price, easy installation, date stickers so that you don’t forget when you change them, and easy to follow instructions. Plus the water tastes great and the external certifications provide a certain peace of mind knowing that they saying actually do you reduce specific harmful contaminates. So whatever filter you buy, look for specific information as to what exactly they take out of the water. We had used Tier 1 filters before, but the information on that Amazon page was very vague in terms of what it removed. They spend a lot of money on advertising it seems, but I want to know exactly what and how these kinds filters remove. This brand gives you that info. Couldn’t be happier.

Excellent Value!

Both the water and air filter fit perfectly in my LG unit. Water and ice taste good. Water flow is good. Be sure to run about a gallon of water through the filter. This is a great value for the price. In our previous LG refrigerator, we were paying $50 every 6 months for just ONE filter. With this, it's ~40% less cost for three times as long.
