This is a GREAT brush! We have 3 non-shedding dogs and one heavily shedding dog. They ALL love this brush and will stand still for it because it doesn't pull their hair/hurt them. Cleanup for the one heavily shedding dog is a breeze with the way this brush works. Highly recommend.

This brush really works!

I was initially reluctant to make this purchase because a lot of reviews said that this brush did not work on short haired dogs..but decided to purchase anyway because I also have cats. Well to my amazement, this brush not only worked on the cats, but it also worked on my short-haired dogs. And the clean up is so easy.... I just love it!!! Great product!

Easy to clean!

I got tired of poking my fingers when I was cleaning my old slicker brush. This one is fantastic! No more hurting fingers. Thank you Pet Neat.

A great brush!

I recently moved and haven't unpacked my old self-cleaning dog brush yet. My rough-coat Border Collie sheds excessively come spring and summer. Just couldn't stand it any longer and found the Pet Neat Self Cleaning brush on line at Amazon. This new brush is easier to use than the old one! My BC tolerated the old brush but I think she likes the feel of the new one. It removes the old dead fur and then releases it at the touch of the button. I previously had to shake out the fur in the old brush several times before it would release it. The new Pet Neat brush just releases the old fur with little to no shaking. So much easier. I find I spend more time brushing her than before. We love this brush!

Amazing!

This slicker brush is amazing! Moxie LOOOOVES being brushed with it! The first day I must have brushed out several cats worth of dead fur. Since then, each day I give her a 5 to 10 minute light brushing, to to catch what's been shed overnight. She LOVES it, and even let's me brush her tummy now, which she wouldn't do before. I like that the brush is retractable, which makes it so much easier to clean. Just wipe off the accumulated fur, and toss it in the trash. Moxie's coat is much shinier now, and there's a huge difference in the amount of shedding.

I love this brush. What a clever design for a dog brush. The bristles completely retract into the body and the collected hair slides off into the trash can. I've had other shed brushes that push the hair toward the end of the bristles but I still had to pull the clump out. High quality, light in weight and it seems gentle on my girl. Very pleased.

BEST BRUSH EVER.

Amazing. I bought this for three reasons; 1. Googled best type of brush for a golden retriever. 2. The price 3. The color Got the brush, it is the coolest and easiest brush to clean. You just push a button and all the hair comes out. My dogs both rolled on their backs to be brushed with this. Love it so much. Had them both brushed in 10 minutes.

Cats are in heaven! And I have a clean house!

My cats can't get enough of this thing. It's like their own personal massager every time I go to brush their fur, which is nice, because there's nothing worse, than trying to groom a fussy cat! The brush does an amazing job of de-shedding my long-haired Siamese and Himalayan cats. The fast cleaning retract button works like a dream. Instantly gets all of hair off the brush, and you are ready for another round of brushing in seconds. And the price? It's so inexpensive! I looked at brushes comparable to this at PetSmart and they want upwards of 45 dollars!! Are you kidding me?!? This thing is a life save, and a wallet saver. Do yourself a favor, if you have cats or dogs that need brushing, get this thing, and take your spouse out to a 5 star dinner with the money you'll have saved from not buying it at the store.

easy to use

We adopted a kitten from the pound and purchased this brush for her. It is easy to use, really like how you can click to close and it leaves the fur in a blob to dispose of easy clean up and our cat likes the brushing.
