Easy fun for a newbie.

This thing flies so easy. Just toss it up and it's off. It comes with string so you can attach it within a min and you're flying a kite like a pro. Watch how you attach the strings or it'll do what mine did - go out far but not get very high. My fault... I'll retie it next time. Doesn't really look like an octopus when it's flying - looks more like a squid - but I didn't care, I had a blast flying my kite at the beach and got compliments from strangers saying how cool it was lol. Folds up easily to fit back into it's case, takes up about as much space in your travel bag as a large pair of socks. Best fun for the money - don't hesitate to buy this if you're new or buying for a little kid. Easy to fly, looks cool, and doesn't have a ton of pull you over capability. I love my new kite. :)

Easy to assemble and store

Best kite ever for a six year old and easy to assemble and store. We had great fun with our grandson.

Fun and easy to use

I haven’t flown a kite in many years and wanted to start flying these larger and fancier ones for fun. This one was super very easy to get up in the air. I just unrolled it. All strings were already attached to the kite. It had another roll of string on a handle with it but I used another one I bought at the same I got this one and just attached the strings together. I lifted it up and bam! There it went. Makes an impression and fun to see all the legs flying around. Now off to get more kites! Great purchase!

sturdy material, lovely color

We are kite fans. The material of this kite is so sturdy. The color is so lovely. It is the biggest kite we have ever had. The kids are so excited.

Trade Wind Tough

Used this kite in Aruba...where there are strong trade winds. Previous kites broke and the strings snapped due tp the wind. This kite was sooo much easier to take out and launch. Dried swiftly after bringing it down in the water too!

WHAT A FUN AND EASY KITE TO FLY

I purchased this kite for my Grandsons to fly when they came to Florida for a visit in the Spring. They were mostly interested in digging in the sand and playing in the surf. My husband, however, had a great time with it. He said that he had never had a kite that was so easy to launch and it flew up very high with no effort. Other beach goers were impressed with it as it soared above the surf. It is very big with long tails just as pictured and extremely well designed to be an easy flyer. We are going to try to launch it on a slightly windy day at a park in Ohio this spring or summer.

Fun, huge kite

I had heard about these large octopus kites and wanted to give it a try. First, the thing is huge and seems to be well made. We took it to a field near our house and had a great time flying it. It wasn't hard to get in the air which was a pleasant surprise considering how long the tale is and how big it is. Very happy with the purchase.

Great kite for the beach

Got this for our trip to Seaside, OR. We wanted a small, simple, easy-to-set-up kite that we could fly with the young ones. This was the perfect kite. It's very easy to set up and took flight immediately. It's easy to control and people loved it. It did seem a little flimsy the higher we flew it but we couldn't beat the price. Great kite and wonderful for the beach!

Fun to fly

OMG we had sooo much fun with this kite. Pull it from the package, attach the string and start flying. It was a little intimidating when we first looked at it because it has several strings that attach it to the main line you hold. It's not just use a little care not to tangle it. Not for little kids, our 13yr old flew it just fine. You will definitely draw attention with this one!
