I was a little bit leary about getting a brand other than "FoodSaver" after reading the reviews of all the cheaper vavuum rolls. About 10% of the reviews said that the seal came undone after vaccum sealing or couldn't be sealed at all. I just figured that it was a quality control issue from the manufacturer and hoped I would get one of the rolls that make up the other 90%. I used these vacuum seal bags on 16 limits of rockfish (160 fish) about a month ago. I have not had a single failure and none of my fish is showing signs of freezer burn. It should be noted that I did a double seal at each end of the vacuum packages...just as a safety precaution. I also store frozen fish in a cardboard box lined with newspaper in the freezer. This is additional insurance against freezer burn and I highly recommend that you do this if you are picky about your fish. And finally; the boxcutter! Oh lord how this is a lifesaver / timesaver. Cutting vacuum bags is probably my least favorite part of vacuum sealing because it is so time consuming, tedious, and the cuts are never straight. All these issues are negated with the boxcutter. So basically just buy these and if you get a bad batch just send them back and get another one.

I bought a Kitchenboss sous vide cooker and it came with a few bags. At the time, I didn't have a vacuum sealer. I loved the sous vide cooker so much that I bought a Foodsaver, which came with sample bags. When it came time to buy more bags, I looked at both the Kitchenboss and the Foodsaver ones. The Kitchenboss rolls were a fraction of the price so I bought them. They work great and are so inexpensive that I find myself using them where I used to use Ziplocks. I highy recommend them.

I tried these after being VERY unhappy with others. They're tough enough to last in the freezer and don't get edges popping holes in the bags. I am able to use every inch of the roll so there is no loss of footage as I experienced in other bags. The end against the roller is not sealed so you do need to seal the end on the roll once you're down to 3'-4'. I'll keep ordering these for all my freezer needs. I've also used them when packing soft items for shipping or for traveling and they're a great space saver.

I think these were better than what foodsaver puts out. They were much smoother, less wrinkles and seem to do as good of job sealing as the food savers or better. We were very happy with our purchase.

this stuff has given me Zero problems with my Food Saver V3825. the bags work just as good as the food saver brand. these are a great alternative to save money on these rolls.

Excellent value! I have a food saver and it works great with it. Will buy again and again. Commercial Grade Bag Rolls for Food Saver and Sous Vide, BPA Free and FDA Approval (total 100 feet)]]

I was pleased with these rolls. They worked as well as he FoodSaver brand at a much more reasonable price. The only difference I could see was the absence of the white strip to write on. I usually just use a marker to write bigger than the strip would allow. I like the cutter feature on the box. I use my Food Saver every week. Good purchase.

These rolls work amazing! You can cut to the size you need. It has a zipper like tab on the box so you can cut the plastic. It works great. I reccomend that you give about 2 to 4 addition inches to the length you cut to ensure enough space for the vacuum sealer to work properly. If it's too short then it wont work. You'll want to be sure you seal one end before you attempt filling it. Haha it's common sense but I'm sure someone out there will forget to do it. I know when I was separating meats, I forgot to do 1 of the 8 I was working on Haha. That was a fun time.

I use my foodsaver a lot. I buy in bulk, and I am an outdoorsman as well. The prices of foodsaver bags at my local stores were outrageous. These are comparable and a lot more affordable. 6 rolls (2 different widths) will last me quite awhile. Very happy with this purchase and would buy again.

These are better quality than foodsaver brand. With food saver you can see the seal is thin. If there's any liquid or crumbs sometimes I have to clean the plastic and reseal it as it won't hold. With these ones the seal line is thicker, I'm guessing the plastic has a lower melting point which creates a better seal. Or perhaps the waffle design has a lighter texture allowing the plastic to come together. Note the square texture in the food saver brand vs smaller inter locking diamonds in this one.
