Ok, well first unit I received unfortunately was defective, but their customer service was excellent, and worked with me in short order to resolve the situation. When it was determined that the unit was indeed defective, they had a new one out to me in a week without me having to worry about RMAing/returning the bad unit. I already have a pair of Taotronics Bluetooth headphones that I love and this combination is a must for anyone who wants to listen to their TV at higher volumes without annoying your apartment neighbors or others in the house, and without having to setup/breakdown wireless headphone apparatus. Also, if you have a guitar or bass amp that you would like to hear louder without laying a bunch more money down on studio-quality headphones, this unit will turn your existing Bluetooth headphones into your instrument headphones.

I purchased two sets that included the transmitter and the transmitter/receiver. (BA06, BA07) We use these to send music from workstations into the legacy office sound system (among other things.) They have proven to be excellent devices. Aside from a reset issue (see below) they work very well. Other Bluetooth devices recognize them and they appear to be substantial and durable. They are also small and very low impact visually. The control strategy is the least desirable aspect of these. There is one control button and you hold it for varying durations (or multiple clicks) and then decode status based on combinations of led's. Sounds neat in the design studio and looks sexy at a glance but it fails when the user has hundreds of devices and now has to spend time and precious brain capacity to learn the special puzzle for this one. The result is the manual has to stay nearby. The proper solution would include labeled lights and separate power / pairing buttons, just so actions are explicit. Additionally the control strategy should be identical for devices likely to be used together. On one device power requires a three second hold while pairing requires a six second hold. The other device is different. This may sound trivial but it matters once again when you have hundreds (or even dozens) of devices to operate. I think the "apple" design approach that worships minimalism is sexy to look at but generally a failure in terms of controlling serious machines. Form: These are compact little devices that take power from USB ports. The receiver gets plenty of power from the USB port on the hi fi. They have robust batteries that claim to last a long time though I have not tested that. They are substantial . You can't drive a truck over them but they are not fragile and they have a good tactile read in your hand. Each device comes with a fairly short (that's good) audio cable and adapters so that you can use mini-audio or RCA. The mini USB cord is a bit longer (18".) When I purchased these I knew nothing about the manufacturer. I had no idea whether I'd be getting an unsupported product that was bought on Alibaba and repackaged or a genuine product from an actual manufacturer. I still know little about the company but... When these arrived the packaging generated a high level of confidence. Boxes were elegant, well designed, resource positive. The fact that a printed manual was in the box gave me confidence. Every item s was placed with intention and the graphic quality was high. (Yes...packaging matters...) They worked right out of the box in several scenarios and I was very pleased. I ordered the second set within a few days. Recently I had a pairing issue and sent an email to tech support. This issue required a number of emails because we weren't sure if the problem was in the transmitter or receiver. The problem was solved with a reset. I'm mentioning this because I was very pleased with the support interaction. I received responses within hours and they were effective and each response indicated that if we didn't work it out the company would send a new device or refund the purchase amount. Too often these days when you test little gizmos and they fail the time it takes to sort out technical issues with tech support is many times more costly that the device. Often you just put the failed device on the junk pile and move on to something else. The kind of product backing delivered by TaoTronics is increasingly rare and when I run into it, it gives me a high level of confidence, particularly when these companies are both unknown to me and located on the other side of the planet. Both the product quality and the service model delivered by TaoTronics is precisely what is necessary to add confidence to global purchasing. I am very satisfied. . Packaging: Like many things technological, products are judged heavily by the packaging. Sad but true. These devices were packaged in elegant compact boxes

My smart SONY TV did not have a bluetooth that was compatible with my headphones so I had to get this unit. I hooked it up to the headphone jack and the connected the micro usb plug on the unit to a standard usb outlet behind the TV. Now I do not have to worry about charging the battery in this unit. I turn it on (a bit of an inconvenience) when ready to watch TV and when done, I just switch off the TV set. The battery in the unit must drain out to zero over time, but the next time I switch on the TV and this box, it is ready to GO! Love it!

Tried it with my new Bose Hearphone. Sound quality was poor. Audio was like being enclosed in an empty small room. It could not spread out. Not sure if I was using it correctly. But there was nothing to tweak. Please advise me. After exchanging to a new model: I would like to add my experience with this company - TaoTronics. They are a wonderful company. Because after this negative feedback, they voluntarily - with no question asked - offered to exchange another model (one with Tx & Rx). And this model works perfectly well!. The sound is almost like connecting my Bose Hearphone with BT directly to my Android Phone. Music is clear. No more muffled sound. I am eager to try it on my next flight with the movie in the plane. I would certainly recommend TaoTronics to my friends. And if there is a 6-stars I would certainly give this grading to TaoTronics.

Just works. Tried this and Jupi-storm Mini Portable Bluetooth Transmitter/Receiver. This connected with my Blue Parrot headset on the first try. I still have not been able to get the Jupi-storm to connect. 7 hours unplugged, but it works with the charging cord plugged in. While charging...there is some static when I touch my phone controls and it will not pair. Miraculous that it works at all while charging. So happy. Bluetooth sound is all very compressed. This does not distort or have static, even with volume all the way up on both phone and headset.

Updated to 5 stars. Seller reached out and offered a solution with an updated model. Tested it out on flights this week and it definitely seems to be better in terms of audio delay and battery life. Thanks for the proactive and quick customer service. Original: I bought this for conference calls on my laptop and in-flight entertainment on planes because I don't like the cord. It is paired with a Bose QC35 in both use scenarios. The battery life is nowhere near the advertised length. On a full charge, it will last about 3 hours. On newer planes with USB charging, I can charge it while in use. But without a charging port, I would be SOL. There is a noticeable delay (about 1 full second) in audio transmission. The range is good, but it will not transmit audio from my headset back to the computer when I'm using it on conference calls (i.e. one way transmission only). This was not very clear in the description; not a complaint, but more of an FYI for other buyers. Overall, it's just okay.

I used my previous model every day for nearly two years before it just quit on me. I immediately ordered the same model again because the earbuds are so much better for me than clunky over-the-ear headphones. I watch a lot of television and need to avoid annoying the wife. The updated model seems to have better range, and the sound seems better. I'm glad that I ordered two of them this time so I'll have a backup.

I bought this transmitter to go with my Shadow wireless earbuds and it hooked up to it flawlessly with no issues. Now I can just plug the transmitter into my music player or computer and the headphones just track the transmitter instead of me having to fiddle with bluetooth Windows drivers or something, much easier. Later down the line when I bought a different set of earbuds, I tried hooking them up to this transmitter and it also worked. While this transmitter, like most things, seem to be a fan of the rubbish *one-button* design, the lights at least are clear at letting you know what it's trying to do, so you shouldn't have any issues. If you do get confused, the instructions are nice and clear.

Worked excellently with my Kindle Fire, Samsung TV and even my older projection TV! Just plugged into the back of my Samsung with the single plug. Plugged into my cable box with the two prong plug that was provided. to access my old projection TV. Free to enjoy these devices without disturbing others. Walked around my basement while listening to my favorite show. Great while on the treadmill. The jury is still out on the battery life so I'll comment on that one later.

This stereo transmitter was real easy to set up. I connected it up to a mini projector to project images to a screen in our window. I needed to send the sound to a Bluetooth speaker outside. This item worked perfectly. Thanks Tori
