Got this to replace a similar LCD clock in the RV. The problem with the LCD is it needs a backlight so you can't just read it in the dark. Eventually, the numbers faded away. This unit has LED's so the large red numbers are easy to see. I only shopped for clocks that used AA batteries. I use lithiums and they last forever and better, don't leak...ever. Yes, expensive, but worth it. The clock arrived and I had it working in minutes (no pun intended) the setting is easy, if you need the instructions, you probably shouldn't be around electronics. However, I did have to consult to see if the little dot was AM or PM. I also read how to turn off the flashing of the dots between the digits. So far, five stars.

I spent more for this clock than I expected to. I figured I'd pay about $8 for a simple clock. I don't need an alarm. The first thing I discovered was that clocks without alarms are almost non-existent these days. The next thing I discovered, and thank heavens I read the reviews, is that every clock cheaper than this one is incapable of keeping time! I have owned this clock for almost a month now, and as far as I can tell, it hasn't lost even a second. It fits my needs exactly. It runs on a battery only with no need for a plug, saving my extremely limited electrical outlet supply. The display numbers are *huge*. Pros: Keeps perfect time. Very large numbers are extremely readable. Allows user to set brightness to 3 levels. If anything. it is too bright. I have set it on the lowest level to givie the batteries their maximum life. Will display in either regular time (12-hour) time or military (24-hour) time. Allows user to enable or disble blinking of colon between hours and minutes. Runs on AA batteries. It has no power cord. Has a good instruction sheet. Cons: It automatically dims between 8 PM and 6 AM. The user cannot disable this. However, it is still plenty bright. I can easily read it from the bedroom at the other end of the hall. Setting the time is cumbersome. All buttons are on the back, so you can't look at them and the time display at the same time. You have to keep turning it over and over while setting the time. All buttons are flush with the surface of the clock back, so you can't push them by feel. You have to look. You must tap the Time Set button, rather than holding it down for a longer period. It took me a while to discover this. The Hour and Minute buttons both have other functions, so if you wait long enough that the clock automatically exits Time Set mode, only a few seconds, they don't change the time setting. This makes it difficult to synchronize the clock with a time-signal-driven device, for example a computer or DVR. Kwanwa says they re--engineered this clock based on user reviews. Obviously they did it right. They have created an excellent product that actually performs as advertised.

Many newer cruise ships are set up that when you leave the cabin, all the power goes out. I like to have a clock in the cabin, so this clock will be the one. I’ve had it on for over three weeks, and it keeps great time – to the minute. This is exactly what I needed. My only quibble is there is a switch to adjust the brightness of the display to high, medium, or low, but when you move the switch, there isn’t much change to the brightness of the display. This doesn’t bother me at all, so I am very, very happy with this product.

I needed a bedside clock and wanted something plain and simple. I didn't need iPod hook up, Alex support, weather forecasts, etc. Just a simple clock I could glance at for the time. I use my iPhone as well for an alarm, so didn't need this feature (although this one has it, I can't comment). Needless to say so far so good. Bright and easy to read, yet if I check on it in middle of night I'm not blasted with rays of light (aka Kramer in the Kenny Rogers Chicken episode if you get that reference). Also dim enough to quickly fall asleep to. After about a month use it was running 1 min faster than originally programmed. However this isn't a Swiss made timepiece and I can live with that.

This clock is so easy to read! Our clock sits on the TV stand - we got rid of stupid Spectrum (argh!) but no more cable box to tell time in living room. Old clock was supposed to backlight at night, but after 6 months the digits faded so bad we had to be up close to tell time. This one lights up across the living room, easy to read perfectly, also great size as small for placing on TV stand & not be highly noticeable - highly recommended!

Had a clock on the old cox cable box but when we switched back to Dish they dont have a clock on the box. Got this to sit on top and its Fantastic!!! Can see in any light, very legible and in a small package. Shipping was quick. Gotta love the flexibility of battery powered with an alarm if needed.

I can't see the clock at night and don't like having to find, feel and press a button to use one. This clock is a great solution. Large 3 setting visual brightness display and simple two buttons to set the time. Takes 4 AA batteries and 3 minutes to program. Has an easy to use alarm, if you have a real job and need to be somewhere. I also bought the larger version for an RV camper. Great products.

I'm so pleased with this clock. It's small and light, which is great for travelling. The display is large and easy to view. It's easy to set up and the directions are well written and complete. Love that, if you turn it upside down, it shows the temperature of the area it's in. I found a small drawstring bag to store the clock along with the directions that will keep it from scratching while travelling. It should really come with one already. Don't know about battery life, but will soon find out. As far as durability, it's too soon to say. However, it seems to be well made. I'm so glad I chose this particular clock for travelling purposes.

Great clock! We got rid of our plug-in alarm clocks to eliminate EMFs in our bedroom. We chose this clock because it runs on batteries, and has red LED numbers. The red numbers do not light up the room like white and green LEDs do. The functions are simple: it's very easy to set and change time and alarm, and it has a snooze "area" that you just touch. If you turn it upside-down, it reads the temperature in the room. Not terribly handy for us, but someone might find that useful. The numbers are a bit large for bedside, but because we like all the other functions, that's a minor complaint.

I control Electrical Hypersensitivity using all kinds of tricks and gadgets, and this was perfect for at night when I turn off about half of my electrical fuses. I have a tenant and my mom living here, so they aren't quite "with the program" or it would all be off every night! Anyway, this comes in really handy and I don't have to re-set it every morning like with the electrical ones. Plus I can easily see it from across the room where I have it at the bottom of my tv screen (which I only use for FireStick and Internet, and leave off as much as possible). Last, but not least, the temperature function has come in as a bonus I hadn't anticipated as being so useful. It is good to be able to easily and quickly check to see if I need to turn the thermostat back on or can just leave the windows open! And the clock is so small and light that I can move it from room to room or carry it on a trip. Price very reasonable. Go ahead and buy at least one. I got an extra for my mom! Yes, that good!
