I found the epoxy easy to use and had good results. I made a few mistakes at first but quickly learned how to get the best results. To share: I over heated one application with a heat gun. Just pass it over quickly to remove bubbles and don't over heat it. It is best to leave it alone after application and removing bubbles. Just check on it the next day. Don't fuss with it. I do pour it into another cup after mixing and I pour it slowly. This helps remove bubbles as well as making sure you aren't getting any "stuck on the sides of cup", epoxy (that is not mixed) in your project. Stir slowly and stir for at least 4 minutes. I also found that when it is mixed properly it feels thinner than when you begin mixing. Hope this helps. I have attached a pic of an emblem that I cut out of yellow heart with my scroll saw. I then inlayed it into canary wood with a router and filled the voids with this epoxy. I mixed Art and Glows black mica powder into the epoxy to create the desired color. I found that mixing the powder in at the beginning of the mixing process gave me better even color results. This is the top to a wooden box with the recipients names scrolled into the front. :-)

FANTASTIC product! Applying alcohol inks to this resin creates such beautiful pieces too! The air bubbles really are easy to remove as long as you let the resin sit a bit after you pour the mold. The bubbles will collect in the middle and from there, I simply wave a heat gun over them for a few seconds and I get perfectly clear molds! The key to a good mixture is to have the resin in a room of 75 degrees or higher. Because it's winter, I have a heater in my studio for my mixing and curing process to ensure they turn out clear. I definitely recommend this product!!! This resin is great for its overall quality, pot time (time after mixing it has before it begins to cure), amd value!

I've used a few other brands out there and have found Art 'N Glow to be more forgiving, with less bubbles, and longer working time. (That's as long as you use a good size mixing cup.) Don't try to mix 2 oz in a 3 oz cup, it'll harden on you in 10 minutes. Learned that the hard way. Will be ordering again. Actually ordering right now. Picture of my lasted project also using Art'N Glow pigment.

Very impressed with this product. I'm encasing a piece of wood about 4"x4"x8", with visible bark on 1/3 of the piece. Additionally I used some ca glue to mount three different pieced of 3D printing to the bark. It worked very well, as long as I followed the instructions exactly. Do's: 1) no pours greater than 1/4" thick; 2) watch the bubbles; 3) wait the min of 6 hours before adding another pour; 4) do cover the project - minuted pieced of hair / air land in the undried layer which must be dealt with later. 1) do NOT overheat the bubbles, you end up sealing areas around the bubbles and the whole top layer is then distorted; 2) do not try to add additional product to already mixed product if you run a little short, just do another pour (the bubble never disappear.); Be careful with the ca glue: it seemed react with the epxoy with small little white dots. BONUS: I discovered that if a bubble is discovered in a previous pour it's possible to dremel tool out the bubble, and slowly (1/4" layer) fill the subsequent and it wont be visible. Dremel out the entire bubble, not just the top. I found the especially helpful with the bark, where holes tended to show up long after the prescribed time. Next time I'll try a pressure pot, might eliminate the bubbles, especially around the bark.

This is my third order and I couldn’t be happier! Easypeasy to follow directions come with it, along with super fast shipping. Do exactly what it says to do, and you can’t go wrong! I’ve never used 2 part epoxy resin before, so I’m an absolute beginner. I did precisely what the directions said, and every project has turned out beautifully! Just make sure you have a torch or lighter to eradicate those pesky air bubbles, and your golden! I’ve tinted with spray paint, nail polish, acrylic paint, alcohol paints and glitter with zero problems.....well, I take that back. My only problem is that I now want to literally resin everything....help!

So far, super happy with this product and the ease of use. Definitely let the bottles sit in very warm water prior to pouring and the pour will go MUCH smoother. The product is crystal clear when set and any bubbles break easily with the flame from a stick lighter. Will buy again!

This product is easy to use, right out of the box. For our table project, the legs and surrounding floor were first taped and covered with painter's plastic for protection. We then combined the resin and hardener, stirred the mixture for 5 minutes.. After this, we poured the mixture on the table, troweled it (with a plastic trowel) for complete coverage, and used rubber gloves to rub the mixture over the edges. We then used a small blow torch to remove any remaining bubbles on the table, which were few. In 24 hours drying time the table was ready. There is very little odor to this product, which was a pleasant surprise. Our project required (2) 32-ounce kits [meaning,16oz resin, 16oz hardener]. We only did it this way because we got more ideas after the first pour! For creative projects, this product is easy to use with other items (pigments, stickers, confetti, etc.) In short, it's fun and easy to use, with great results!

This is the first time I have dabbled with clear resin casting/coating so I don't have a good reference to compare this product to others. However, my experience with this product has been very positive. I read some of the materials on how to use it and mixed a small batch to try on a few things just to see how well it works. From the one batch I mixed I used it on 4 different "pours." The primary project (a small square of wood with masking tape around the sides to form a cavity and tiny sea shells on the wood to be covered) seems to have worked fairly well (only 24 hours have passed). The resin mix appeared to soak into the wood a bit but the masking tape was easy to remove from around the edges after about 12 hours after mixing. I suspect I did not mix for a long enough time so the item I poured last seems to have tacky edges after 24 hours (temperature during the cure time was in excess of 80 degrees - it is hot in the southwest!). This may have been due to material at the bottom of the plastic mixing cup being primarily resin and not hardener due to inadequate mixing. I like the 50/50 mix approach, makes it easy to figure amount to mix. The material is, indeed, very clear after the pour (and after 24 hours). Bubbles were not a problem and could be "popped" soon after the pour (all the sea shells were positioned with the cavity side down and for some of them air was trapped under the shell and eventually "bubbled" out under the edge of the shell). I can't see any bubbles in the final product. I have more experimenting to do but I am very happy with this material and how it works.

I have used several brands of resin for my polymer clay and resin jewelry and to coat my alcohol ink paintings. I LOVE this resin in particular. After you mix the two parts, the resin stays thicker that most other making it easier to spread and cover the surface. When it dries, it dries hard and very clear. I have not used it with the neon powders. I hesitated buying it since not many people had reviewed the product and there are other more famous and suggested resins out there, but I just ordered a second time.

Easy to use, and looks even better than i imagined! Product was also received very fast. Instructions included were clear and complete. I'll definitely be reordering as i have a zillion new projects in mind!
