A 'Must Have' accessory for Easy Press

There is one thing that we don't want in our attempts at making a nice shirt or other garment... is failure. HTV sheets ain't cheap, so getting a good result every time is essential. This mat is king when it comes to what we need, CONSISTENCY. The mat provides fantastic consistency in terms of: - Surface: A large area that's just firm enough to provide a smooth surface and even contact patch for the press. No more using towels or fading your kitchen table. - Temperature: The inside layers make for even temperatures over the surface consistently. Towels, tables, and other surfaces can have wildly uneven heat absorption rates, causing poor adhesion in random places. The bottom stays nice and cool as well, so it wont harm the surface underneath with heat. - Moisture: Towels can provide inconsistent moisture wicking and dispersion, who knows what's in your pillow.. - Time: Since the mat surface is consistent in smoothness and temperature, press times can be far more accurate and consistent as well. This is incredibly important with multi color designs and hot peel tacking. All these variables added together can make for frustrating results. The mat takes out a lot of the guesswork and tweaking. The mat has nearly brought my Easy Press up to clam shell press consistency, 5+ color shirts are easy peaz.

Love it!! I had been debating on whether or not I should get this. A friend of mine told me I needed it and so I ordered it! What a game changer this has been! Helps distribute the heat while using heat transfer vinyl (HTV) and now my shirts are even better!!

Perfect mat!! It's a little rough to avoid movement in the material. Great tool to have with my EasyPress.And no damage to my very white table underneath.

This mat is a great. I use it not only for my iron-on vinyl Designs, but also to press some of my fabrics before I put them on my sewing machine. This product is quick and easy to use. The size makes it easy to store out of the way when crafting. This mat protects your crafting surface and distributes heat evenly to give you a nice and quick press. I have used a towel to protect my surfaces, but once I got the easy press mat I wont go back. I recommend this product to friends and family.

Must have accessory for the Easypress!

Perfect accessory for your Cricut Easypress 2. The mat is 12x12 and works perfectly for the 9x9 Circuit Easypress. The surface underneath the mat stays nice and cool. The heat from the Easypress does not transfer through at all - at least not in any of my experiences. So there's no need to worry about damaging a counter top surface or anything of the such. I do however use a Teflon sheet in between the Easypress and HTV. This guarantees a nonstick surface. All in all its a worthwhile purchase and comes as a highly recommended and must have accessory for the Easypress!

Game changer

Okay, so I got my easypress and wasn’t pleased. It was only a slight step up from my iron. This made a world of difference! My projects are done quicker and so much better. HTV is on to stay. I now love my easy press. For as little as I make, I don’t want to utilize the space to a heat press. I’m tickled.

Fabulous addition to the Cricut Easy Press.

I read a post online with someone saying this mat is a game changer for using with the Cricut Easy Press. I decided to give it a try because I was still having some issues getting my heat transfer vinyl (HTV) to adhere completely to the clothing item. This is a must have! It reflects the heat into the clothing item. It makes any crafting project using HTV so much easier.

On the list of “must haves” and a STORAGE TIP

So my experienced Cricut friend gave me a list of “must haves” when I bought my Cricut and Cricut Press, this was on her list. She was right! It’s so nice to be able to set it all up in one place, like a kitchen counter or craft table. It folds nicely to do sleeves and smaller items. TIP My husband says not to store it under the Cricut Press, because the feet will cause indentations.

Total game changer...

First of all, I am new to the Cricut family. I received an easy press for Christmas. After many frustrating, failed attempts at numerous brands of HTV, I finally found a solution to my problem. This mat was it. (Along with having the correct time/temp recipe and pressure) the 12x12 is the perfect size. It has durable layers that make it a firm surface with enough layers and give to mold to your materials. The affordable price is a bonus. Thank You for a great product addition. Bits of Birdy on F.
