Just what I needed to avoid obsoleting my old Micro-USB cables!

Exactly what I needed - bought a new cell phone, and, as usual, the port for the power and data interface for it had changed. Instead of Micro-USB, this phone had USB-C ports. So, my complement of cables and chargers (home and in my car) were useless ... again! This product came to the rescue! I have added them to the end of the Micro-USB cables, and they work perfectly with my phone that has a USB-C port. Thanks for making this product!

Did exactly what they are supposed to.

I upgraded from a Samsung Galaxy 7 to a 9. Of course the 9 has a different charging port (USB-C) than the 7 (micro-USB). I have 5 charging cables for my Galaxy 7 (home office, work office, bedroom, personal truck, and work truck). The new phone came with one cable, so I thought I'd have to buy 4 new ones ... until I found these adapters. The micro-USB plug on the old cables snaps into the adapter nicely and fits well (it's not loose). The USB-C end of the adapter fit perfectly into my Galaxy 9 (again, a quality fit, not loose). The phone charges at a normal pace using the adapters. For the price of one quality cable, these 4 adapters were a deal!

Good plan B

These were great for travel because I had purchased my first phone that didn't have the same charging port as pretty much 98% of the devices in the world. The only issue is if you are using them for charging purposes that is fine, but if you are using them for charging and data transfers you might have some issues I had tried connecting my phone to a USB port on a vehicle I borrowed so I could play music on, and the car was unable to connect to it. Before anyone asks I ended up buying the correct cord because just so happen to be on clearance and the car did connect to my phone with the dedicated cord. I just assume it is because of the adapter, but like I said they are a good back up plan because the micro connection is much more common these days than C-type ports.

Just what I needed!

I bought a new cell phone that has a USB-C charging port. But I already have several Micro USB charging cables. Solution: BrexLink Adapters! These babies work exactly as promised. Just plug in the Micro USB charging cables and presto, they become USB-C charging cables. And the Fast Charge works with them, too. Someone wrote that they will get hot if you use them for overnight charging. Not for me. I plug in my phone and leave it overnight. In the morning, the cable and Adapter are nice and cool. Another advantage to using these Adapters instead of shelling out $$ for USB-C charging cables -- I can pop the Adapter off and charge my Micro USB devices (earbud, bluetooth speakers, etc). They work so well that I ordered another package of 4. Now I have charging cables in the living room, bedroom, office, both cars, camper, garage (for bluetooth speaker while puttering in the garage), and overnight travel bag. I highly recommend these Adapters.

Product Overview

When I ordered this product it was needed due to the cell industry changing a standard USB connector with a USB-C connector used to charge the cell battery. Connectors are not simple devices and require exact machining to specifications if they are expected to mate with another connector designed with ridged size specifications. Not only the shell but the electrical connections must be manufactured to mate properly with existing connectors without damaging them and making proper electrical connections. Time will tell about the wear and tear of connecting and disconnecting the adapter but the short term performance shows a good design. The product makes the recovering from the connector change simple instead of purchasing new charge cables. In short, a very good product.

Glad I didn't have to buy new cables!

I just upgraded from a Galaxy S6 to a Galaxy S9. I purchased these adapters so that I could continue using my existing micro USB cables to charge my new S9. I tested all four adapters and they worked perfectly. The fit was nice and snug. I noticed another reviewer said the "fast charging" was not compatible with his S9, but as you can see in my screenshots that it does work. I'm currently using an original Samsung Adaptive Fast Charging Wall Charger with a generic 10' micro USB cord. (It's entirely possible he wasn't using a fast charging wall charger or plug.)

Second Purchase

These adaptors work great. I had a number of Micro USB cables for charging my old phone at work, in the car and at home. My new phone was USB c so suddenly I'm back to square one until I saw these. I jumped on them and I'm so glad I did. Saved me from having to buy several new cords. They are small enough that they aren't even noticeable. Great idea! I now have one of these adapters in literally every place I had a charging cable. 2 at work, one in my car, one in my living room, one at my second job, one by my computer, one in my tablet case and a spare in my pocket. Very handy.

Easily converts micro USB to USB-C!

Got a new phone recently and it uses USB-C. While I like the new connector, I now have a bunch of old micro-USB cables that I can't use. Instead of buying all new cables, I found these for a lot cheaper. I threw a couple in my travel case, at work, and at home. So far no issues whatsoever. I only use the cables for charging, no data transfer, but it works great. Fast charging as well. My phone can't tell the difference between a native USB-C cable, and one of these adapters. Plus I can use the cables without the adapters to charge my tablet. Until everything goes to USB-C, these are a must have.

Great Product For Using Existing Cables

They work great and now can charge the phone in either car when traveling. Nothing negative about this product, only multiple ways to use existing cables such as transferring photos to a computer. They also fit perfectly even with an Otter Box case. Great product!

I just picked up a pixel 2 to replace my galaxy s4, so I needed something to convert my old charging cables. these fit the bill quite nicely, and I appreciate that it's a pack of 4, as I could see myself potentially needing one or two for several places, like at home, work, or in the car. or, if get careless and lose one. These are a great way to get some utility out of old cables; I got a few to replace the too-short cable i got with both phones.
