Great looking mailbox. Amend ure you assemble it inside the house where you are comfortable and cool. You really need 2 people and 2 pliers to put this together. One has to hold the locknut on the front with pliers and the other has to tighten it on the back with pliers. Once we figured this out it was easy to put together.

Easy fix for the misaligned holes in the Post.

The mailbox side holes in the Post assembly were drilled incorrectly causing the Cross-arm and ultimately the Mounting Plate and Mailbox not to properly align with the Post. This caused my class C mailbox to be decidedly unlevel side to side. I drilled the holes slightly larger so I could make the Cross-Arm sit correctly. Other than this I really like this post. It is stable even with the oversized mailbox.

Easy Attractive Sturdy Post

I was afraid replacing my old plastic mailbox was going to be very labor-intensive. But I actually was able to use the same post that is anchored with concrete. This post slipped right over it. Easy! I added the Gibralter mailbox and a barrel flower pot on the bottom.

Great product at a great price!

I am extremely pleased the look and the quality of this product. It replaced an existing mailbox post that was made of ABS plastic also on a 4X4 post. unscrew the attachments and this one slipped right over the post and attached with ease. Sturdy and my mailbox just needed a fresh coat of spray paint to look "good as new"...

This was a great choice.I had priced mailboxes and decent mailboxes for street mounting were above $350. This was perfectas we also ordered a Gibralter mailbox, at such a savings.It is beautiful, and more than advertised.Sturdy,and has everything promised in the ad on Amazon.

Beautiful mailbox stand

Beautiful mailbox stand. Goes perfectly with the Gibraltar Arlington Large Capacity Galvanized Steel Bronze Mailbox. We installed it right on our old wooden post

Classy without being overstated.

This was a bargain for the price. It came with all the hardware and easy instructions. I still needed a bag of cement and a pressure treated 4 x 4. It looks good and it is solid.

High quality and extremely simple installation if you already have a 4x4 mailbox post, we just cut the old post to the right length, slid the new post over it and secured the screws. It was literally a 5 minute installation. Add another 10-15 minutes to assemble the new mailbox to the post and we were done in under 30 minutes. It looks great too, We were looking for an attractive mailbox and post but some of them were in the $400-$500 range, this is a great value.

Better than expected

All aluminium construction. From the description I wasn't I wasn't sure if the arm was aluminium but was happy when I opened the box. Replacing a 10-year old Gibraltar post that was broken by the snow plow. The arm on my old post was plastic and that's what broke off. I wasn't able to find a replacement arm so I went with the new post system. Very pleased that this product came with an aluminium arm. Much sturdier than the old plastic.

Mailbox Post

This along with the matching mailbox made quite the statement in our yard. I feel like we upgraded our house by just changing the mailbox. Gives us pride again. It was very easy to install and looks like it will hold up for a long time.
