I bought this robot about a year ago and everytime that I have turned him on and played with him up to this day makes me feel so excited. On the first day it started right up with no problems and it was really fun to see him do all of the tricks he can do. I did have an issue with cozmo about a week ago where I couldn't connect to his network but I called customer service and the helped me get the the problem fixed in less than ten minutes. What I enjoy most about cozmo is that his app gets updated very frequently and it makes you want to go and explore more about what he can do. Cozmo is a great robot and what he can do can never get old.

This was our 9yo dream Christmas Gift. Due to price and worry about injury rendering the entire expense useless, I told him it was too expensive. Almost 3 weeks later, it has been treated with care and he is so enamored with it! It has only been dropped once, by a family friend, an adult who was moving it and dropped it on the floor, but luckily no damage happened and we continue to enjoy the cute games and interactive fun Cozmo provides. Time will tell if he will be as attached with it as this year passes. I hope so! Cute little robot.

My 6yo absolutely LOVES Cozmo!! I love him too! I thought that it would be something I'd spend all this money on and he'd only take it out of the box a few times. He's played with him almost every single day!! It's fun to "feed" and play with Cozmo and to learn new things with him. Cozmo can learn everyone's names and recognize their faces! I just can't get over how awesome this little robot is! Definitely worth every penny!!

I like that Cosmo can sing and talk as well as initiate games. He can recognize at least 8 people. The one thing I disliked is that he has to be turned upside down when he hiccups. I am totally impressed with Cozmo. He can recognize dogs and cats. He can play Peek a Boo. You can create programs for him in a language similar to BASIC. He can knock over blocks, turn blocks, create a pyramid, act as a slot machine. The several voices he uses are all so cute. I was afraid I was spending a lot of money for something I might not like but now Cozmo is like a best friend.

Cozmo has lots of expressions. Lots of it. And he's playful. He'll acts like that one friend of yours who remembers your face, but will never give you a treat. He is like a fling: ask you to play, plays with you, gets happy when he wins, and gets angry when he loses in the game. And oh. Beware of his anger issues. He flips blocks and shivers in anger when he loses the game. Also, he will detect your pets at your home, and recognise them. He is also a paranormal detective. I don't have pet but he's able to look at a direction and detect a pet. It will be great if Cozmo comes with an exorcist mode as well. Cozmo uses phone to communicate, just like everyone else. If you are a control freak, or simply love to dominate, Cozmo can act as your slave too. Drive him anywhere with your phone, and input the simple programming that comes with it. Cozmo will do anything you tell him to do. Except for the kinky stuff. That's up to your creativity. If you've been watching Cozmo videos. Yes, he can pass butter. Overall, I enjoyed Cozmo. The other Collector's Edition Cozmo is still in my closet. Not ready to be out yet.

I have been hestitating even considering getting Cosmo because the commercials just didn't make it look like it was worth the price tag. My son has been begging for Cosmo since last Christmas. Reluctantly I gave in and got him Cosmo this year for Christmas. I'm glad I did. This little robot is awsome. The things he can do will surprise you. The commercials and YouTube videos don't do it justice. I also like the STEM educational aspect. It's fun to see everything Cosmo can do. It's also fun letting your kid show everything they can do with it.

Between a birthday and Christmas, we ended up with a Cozmo, Dash/Dot and Lego Boost set for our 5.5 and 7yo daughters. Cozmo is one of the favorites in our house amongst all of those products. Pros *He is just so darn cute! Amazing how much personality can come out of a basic digital screen and funny voice *He is easy to have fun with right out of the box. Minimal instructions needed. App is well designed to allow even young kids to use on their own right off the bat *The games are fun and I like how they have to work through one game before unlocking more activities *We love it when he sings a song *He will just do his own thing if you don't actively play something with him, which is fun to watch *The games to play with him and the cubes are fun, but I know will get old quickly *Charged with USB so no batteries to replace Cons *Comparing the programming piece, Cozmo definitely does not stand up to Dash/Dot. From a programming standpoint Dash/Dot are definitely more advanced and have a lot more to them. *More "accessories" would be good like a basket Cozmo could carry with his hooks. I sent a small cup of goldfish to my daughters using Cozmo and I had to strap it on top of him with a rubberband. Doing so blocked his camera so I couldn't see where it was going if he was out of sight. So having products that we could attach to him to do different things like pushing stuff around or carrying something would be great. Overall I would buy it again. Both girls have enjoyed playing with him and keeping him fed and played with each day to earn "sparks" and unlock new games. Plus he is just so cute you can't help but want to turn him on and play with him!

We absolutely love Cosmo. He has so much expression and has held up through a lot of playtime. When not in use he sits quietly waiting for the kids. I cannot get over how cute it is when he rolls up to me and says "Hi Mom". He is an excellent beginner's robot and games are simple but fun. I would recommend him to anyone young and old. I did get him on sale so for 130ish dollars I was absolutely satisfied.

My 11 year old (young at heart) loved this Christmas gift. The first day he opened it, it took about 10 minutes to charge and he was off and running. He completely figured it out on his own and had hours of fun with it. It became social with other family members, who came to "meet" it, and my son typed in phrases to get it to say and talk. Since then he has spent time every day interacting (and I daresay - learning!) with it yet it continues to be social as well. Money well-spent, in my opinion. I can also see where if he begins to get "bored" with it, there seems to be a lot on Youtube to help re-spark his interest. Don't hesitate - it's a great toy!

Cozmo is a lot of fun. The genius of Cozmo is bringing a "cartoon" character into the real world. By combining a cute little 'bot with an infinitely expressive but simple video screen, you've got a droid right out of a Star Wars movie, running around your desk, playing games, interacting with its cubes, and exploring the world on its own. And that's just the start. Once Cozmo runs through his bag of tricks, you can take control over its functions, and program it (OK I want to say "him" since Cozmo exhibits all the personality of a rambunctious 8 year old boy. Why did I not say girl? It's interesting that this little 'bot will ultimately be perceived in the male gender. Only because it exhibits behaviors that one would still associate with, at this point in history, "boys". I only bring this up to exhibit how much personality this 'bot has, and how easy it is to "bond" with it as an identifiable character). Getting back to programming. There are many levels of programming you can invoke on Cozmo. The simplest is stringing together pictograph blocks that will make the 'bot perform the indicated actions. The second level of programing is stringing together fuction blocks where you can change the variables to perform the different actions, animations, drives, speech, video display, etc. Third level is the SDK, which allows high-level programming Python to take full control over Cozmo. The one problem I had with Cozmo was that it kept disconnecting when I used my Kindle Fire 5 as the controller. This was very frustrating as the 'bot would just die out in the middle of play. It would have been nice to have the larger screen to play on, but it just wasn't happening. Switching over to my iPhone 6S to control Cozmo seems to have solved this blip, and I haven't had a problem using this method. In conclusion, Cozmo will become your tiny fun friend. In addition to that, the learning possibilities through the programming functions are endless. After playing with the simpler programming tools, I intend to learn the higher level programming functions as a way to introduce myself to the programing world.
