Well made, easy to use, high resolution, HAS NIGHT VISION

Every Dashcam I've purchased over the years has been around $70 and this by far is the greatest value so far. I was hesitant because I noticed negative reviews about the rear camera lacking night vision. Well, Pruveeo must've listened because mine came WITH infrafred lights that activate night vision and capture the interior beautifully clear at night. Also, there are many resolutions -- even 1080 60fps and 4K. The only thing that is missing is motion detection/parking monitoring and wifi capability. I'd be willing to spend more for those. But for $70, this is unbeatable and perfect for anybody, especially rideshare drivers. Also, it mounts discreetly and the buttons are backlit so you can actually see them at night! I will likely try some of Pruveeo's other cameras in the future.

Recommend Uber Lyft Drivers and People Who Want Premium Recorders to Buy!

I love this camera for recording what happened in front of and inside the car. If you are an Uber or Lyft driver, you are supposed to have a durable, high-performance and reliable (both in day and at night) dash cam to film what happened not only on the road ahead but also in your vehicle as an evidence to protect you and your passengers. In the situations like your customers lost something, you are robbed, and your passengers give you negative feedback for no reason, the working recorder will save you! The model has a unique vertical 270-degree dual camera which is awesome for drivers. The resolution is high and it depends on how you set up and the SD-card you used. I will suggest a 128gb SD-card be used for recording videos and a backup 128gb SD-card to be stand-by. I had some concerns about the electric support for this dash cam before purchase because the specification indicates that the built-in battery has just 320 mA capacity and such battery need to support dual camera running. The truth is that I worried too much. It runs well for 3.5 hours and it just used nearly two-thirds of battery capacity after first full charge (I don’t know if it’s accurate as there are just three levels of battery capacity). The determined issues that eliminate my concerns are that the C2 model can be charged in a car by the cigarette lighter cable which means you would never run out of electricity. As I suggested, if you have a backup SD-card, it’s extremely hard to face the memory and electricity problem. You will be able to use a TV or any monitors and a HDMI cable to playback what you have recorded by C2. It’s more convenient than just TF-card playback by computer. There are two reasons for why it’s more convenient. Firstly, you will not like to use C2 itself playback as the screen is tiny and you are not able to track details in videos. Secondly, you will not need to uninstall and reinstall again and again and one more SD-card reader to see recorded videos by your laptop or Mac. I have a 22’ monitor and HDMI cable so I just need to insert and remove TF card for twice at the time of installation and full of memory in total. As both SD-card and SD-card slot are very weak and easy to be broken, decreasing the installation times will help. If you can use the feature of GPS of this cam, I bet it will make your recorded videos more reliable and evidential than not. You can use either a strong sticker or a sucking disc to stabilize the position of the dash cam. I used sucking disc as it’s very firm and easy to operate. In my opinion, C2 had already made distinctions between itself and other 30 bucks and 60 bucks dash camera. I think I just get how much I paid and I am really happy to have the great product. In other words, it’s worth to pay a premium price for a premium product. This dash camera is friendly to dummies and there is almost no cost for you to adjust its features and functions. If you ask me whether there can be improvements for this product, I would always like to say yes. The direction of Mini USB port should be in reverse as the power cable is not straight down when in use. However, it not a big deal. The button for control is a bit more but this may not be a shortcoming because the dash camera is using in a driving scenario in which drivers are supposed to click the right functional button at one time rather than looking at the camera’s screen. And it will be great if the C2 had a horizontal rotation camera feature. Long-term use reviews and other advantages or disadvantages will be updated and all kinds of comments are extremely welcomed!

Having a dash cam is a must in LA and this is my third dash cam. After two weeks of use, I have to admit that this dash cam fit in my need the most—the two wide angle lens can record both the interior and exterior of the vehicle and the LCD Screen, even though not touchable, can still display good image. In addition, when only one camera is used, the dash cam cam provide 2196P resolution at 24 PFS, offering incredibly detailed image. During my research before making the purchase decision, I believe that is he highest level on the market. If both camera are used, the dash cam still can output 1080p at 30PFS. Such dual camera system will perform the best if you have child sitting on the back seat. Overall speaking, this dash cam solved all my needs—the size is pretty compact and it can be hided behind the rear view mirror; the dash cam can be mounted to the window tightly; and the setting of the dash cam can be done easily. No significant shortcoming was identified during usage and will provide additional comments on it once detected.

It works great! I installed it today

The reason I bought this dash camera because somebody hit my father’s car in a parking lot, but no one else is around and of course no ANY security cameras in the area that he parked. It works great! I installed it today, and it is easy to set up in less than 5 minutes. The function also is easy to understand to set up too. My father likes the dual camera that can record inside and outside of his car. The build in battery is enough to record when temporary use without charge. When I load the recording video into the computer, it records the clear image, and captures a lot of detailed. You will able to read license plates of the car in front. More importantly, the multiple language system is best for my father to set up by himself because he is not good at English.

Perfect for Lyft/ Uber Drivers

I'm an occasional Lift driver and was excited to find a dash camera that offered dual cameras for interior and exterior. Pros: Easy to install Camera turns on automatically as soon as the car is started Dual cameras Clear pictures Long cord I love the fact that the camera turns on automatically as soon as the vehicle is started so you never have to worry about remembering to turn the camera on. Cons: No back up battery. The camera turns off as soon as the ignition is turned off, however this doesn't affect the functionality of the dash cam when driving. No install tool included to help hide cord. I ran the cord along the windshield and header panel then along the inside door, then under the glove compartment in order to conceal the wire. Just a small part of the cord could not be hidden but maybe if I had the proper tool I could've hidden the entire cord.

Great video quality, simple set up

Update 8/10/2018 - I received the three plastic mounting kits as promised included the mounts themselves and 3M mounting tape. Thanks!!!!! Update 7/30/2018 - Still going strong, quality is excellent, it's held up well in the Carolina heat, even off-roading in my Jeep. I got a new vehicle and removed the camera from the old one, but wasn't able to pull off the plastic 3M mount piece. I emailed Pruveeo Sunday 7/29 @ around 5:30pm asking to purchase a new plastic mount piece, as I had an extra 3M pad from the original purchase and only need the plastic mount piece. They replied just 7 short hours later and said they'd send me 3 mount kits for free!!!! That is outstanding customer service, especially after I've already made the purchase of the item and even offered to pay for the extra pieces I need! Most companies get your money and become much less helpful. Pruveeo makes a great product and backs it up with great service. So far, so good. Video quality using 1080P for both front and rear is outstanding. Records in even higher resolution just using front facing. I installed this using a hard wire kit from my last dashcam that died after 4 years. Install was simple and easy as was setup. Powers on with the Jeep, shuts off after turning the car off plus 30 seconds. Very good range of view with both cameras. Video quality is the main factor in choosing a dashcam and this one is excellent.

I got an accident two months ago and started to look for a good dash cam. Among so many similar products, I choose this one. I got it on Tuesday, and after I tested for 5 days, I am very happy with it. The screen is very clear even at night time. Two cameras can capture the front and back at same time. This dash cam can help me drive safely and avoid any unnecessary argument if anything happens. It worth the money.

Brilliant, Clear Pictures, Excellent Customer Service

I purchased the Dash Cam about three weeks ago to use while driving for Uber. I am using the 64 gb microSD card that was recommended along with the unit. No problem using it if you format it on your pc and then in the camera, (careful placing the SD card in the camera as the camera has a strong spring and the SD card can go flying. :-) ) The pictures are so brilliant that I enjoy watching them in the evening to see the neighborhoods and Phoenix mountains. I had a problem with the audio stopping but in just two brief emails, customer service has been forthcoming and very, very reasonable. I have a Nissan Sentra which has dimpled dash surface and a dimpled shaded area behind the mirror and I had to use the 3M two-sided tape on the windshield and it appears to be holding well. Placement is critical for the interior as my interior view is partially obscured by the rearview mirror which is why the audio is so important. Both the front and rear cameras are adjustable vertically. For the price, one cannot go wrong. Just an update 4 months after purchase. It is still performing excellently. I really do recommend this for ride share drivers. I download the files daily. .Just a note that the files generated are humongous so you may only want to keep them on your pc one week or convert them to .wmv format. I now keep mine for 30 days. but it is a good clear picture.

The picture quality is excellent. So you won't miss a thing

This is the third dash camera I have experience with, I must say It does everything I want it to. It automatically turns on and off with my car, and begins recording as soon as it is on. The screen turns itself off automatically after a minute so you won't get distracted by it during the driving, but it's still recording. It include two cameras, one for front and one for rare. The picture quality is excellent. So you won't miss a thing. It can be easily mounted anywhere using the double sticky came with it. It also comes with a suction cup mounting fixture if you don't like double sticky. The extremely long power cable is designed for hiding and reaching where you need it to be. The dash cam itself has just about every feature you could want. The only thing what I suggest is it would be better if the size of this dash cameral is getting smaller!
