Truly Simple to Install, Look Amazing

These grille inserts were the easiest mod by far. Removing the grille wasn’t even necessary - I popped them in, making sure I heard the “click” sound, then gently tugged on the tops and bottoms to ensure they were firmly attached. LOVE the simple but noticeable difference these make. (Reviewed for a 2017 JKU)

Looks good and protects the radiator.

Despite what the instructions say I did not remove the grill. I just made sure that all four clips "clicked" when I put them in. Quick and easy.

Bottom Line: Would buy again. Would recommend to others if they like the look. Pro: Looks awesome; easy to install. Con: There are slight blemishes at the top right of each piece, if visually inspected within a few feet (don't see from further out); The color is closer to a very dark grey, than a true black, but I kind of expect that from all "black" items (matches stock black fenders well) Concern: The attachment is via 3M automotive tape, which just makes me a little nervous. Details: As with all 3M automotive tape installations, make sure you clean the target surface thoroughly. Recommend soap water first, dry, then clean again with rubbing alcohol, being careful to not damage any surfaces in the process. They install in a specific direction, so test first with tape on, then remove tape when you're ready. The honeycomb pattern looks very good in my opinion. Wish the attachment was more of a bolt on, or something, though not sure how that would work. Have seen some other items for sale that are metal and bolt/clamp on on the backside of the grill, making installation a little more complex, but probably less worry of it falling off on the highway.

Good product

I think it looks great on my jeep. NO adhesive and it was difficult to install. It snaps in. If it doesn’t work one way flip it over and try again. There is a Up and a down way to install but it doesn’t tell you. Obviously figured it out but wish it had adhesive. I’ll see what happens. If I lose a grill I’ll update.

Two Sides to Every Coin

So, I got out there install my new stuff, and the first one wouldn't not click in all the way, I tried another, same thing, I tried a third, same thing. Then I took a better look at the locking tabs and one is shorter than the other, "Bingo" I had them upside down. Flipped them over, 30 seconds later, all 7 were installed securely. I think they add a little something-something.

I love these!

They may not be the best on the market but for the money, but, it dressed up my Jeep really nicely. As far as having to take the grill off, I didn't have too. I just popped them on and they felt safely in place. Took less than 5 minutes to install and that includes taking them out of their plastic baggies.

Great grill.

The grill mesh looks great on the Jeep, it does protect stuff from going inside. To make it easier to install you should take the grill off the Jeep and then install the grill mesh so you can easily push the grill mesh in the slots, and then put the entire grill back. Will be back to update the review if anything goes wrong but so far it’s great.

Nice and secure fit

Love these infills. I'd pressure washed my Wrangler because it was caked in dirt. Unfortunately the high pressure washing bent the soft metal fins on the radiator and it looked a bit unsightly from the front. These fixed the problem, you can't see the radiator. Note you have to take off the grill. It really is easy to do but almost impossible to get the end piece in without getting behind it.

Will not work with special edition wranglers

Ok. I was so excited to get these for my beautiful 2018 golden eagle wrangler. However, these do not work with special edition jeeps. Super bummed. These would have looked super sharp and they looked incredibly easy to install. I had to return.

Great look and simple to install

Love it! I thought about painting but then thought it may be too much so if anyone has theirs painted I’d love to see it. Definitely drop your grill down so you can make sure it’s clipped in well and other than that it just snaps together
