With the temperature gauge there you know if the water ...
With the temperature gauge there you know if the water is hot enough for tea, coffee or a second cup of either. i even use it to heat water for jello.

No funny taste in the water you boil.
People have complained about the “taste” of the water boiled in this pot. No Truth to this claim. The pot smell like plastic when it is brand new, but quickly loses that smell after a few boiled pots. I just put water in boiled it and poured out the water. Did this a few times before actual use and no smell. Most of all no funny taste, just the taste of water.

The best one I have found
I have purchased several of these kettles since finding them in Asia many years ago. They always lasted about 6 months and something (usually the lids) would go bad. This one has lasted for over 6 months and is still quieter then all the others and shows no signs of ware. Worth the extra cost without doubt.

Great product
It's a piece of retro-art in my kitchen and boils water super fast! It replaces an electric kettle that finally quit working after many years. Very pleased with this one.

Electric Kettle
Like the looks and heats up water quickly. Has a visible temperature gauge on the outside which is nice when boiling water for the kidos.

Perfect for my Chemex!
This kettle was bigger than I expected from the pictures, but this doesn't change the way I love this product! I just made my first cup of coffe with my new kettle and my Chemex (8 cup). The coffee tastes incredible! The temperature boiled to the perfect temp and stayed hot in the kettle for quite some time after. It looks dashing on my countertop and feels sturdy. This is worth the money, I'm so happy I bought this after reviewing many other options beforehand.

CLASSY!! BIG AND BEAUTIFUL!!
Oh my goodness! This kettle is so beautiful I don’t even want to use it! An enhancement to any countertop! Will make sure not to leave water in 24/7 in order to preserve quality. Not concerned about plastic stuff on the inside as I won’t yse kettle that much!! LOVE THIS BESUTY!!!!

Attractive & Functional
I get a lot of compliments on the vintage and kind of coffee shop industrial look of this kettle. But beyond that, I love the easy-to-read temperature gauge and the see-through water level reader. In terms of ease of use, I gave it less stars because it’s a bit heavy to pour. I don’t think this would be a good choice for an elderly person or someone with a condition that weakens their hands.

GREAT KETTLE
I have wanted this kettle for a very long time. Thanks to a price reduction I was able to order. Love the vintage look, and the Russell Hobbs name....it is the best. The design is good, as it is not so round and huge. Just very pleased this is in my kitchen.

ADORABLE!
I found this kettle while replacing my counter top toaster oven. I have a collection of more than 40 vintage coffee pots displayed around my kitchen and so I could not resist. It is wonderful! We use the fast heat option (less water) quite frequently for one or two cups. The temp gauge on the front allows you to pull it off the base a bit early if boiling is not your goal. The lid knob looks very much like a glass percolator when on the counter. I get a TON of comments on it. Don't hesitate. If you are drawn to this vintage look, it should be yours!
