Purchased for my husband. He’s 6’2” and 230lb and says it’s super comfortable :)

I'm no camping chair expert but I think this is a pretty good one. I used it for working a booth at a fair, so I was sitting in it on and off for two days straight. However, I'm a pretty small lady and I found it roomy but if you're a bigger framed person it might be too small.

This picture depicts the chair in its natural habitat: the sidelines of a soccer game. The awesome cooler and side pocket will distract other parents when you accidentally cheer for the wrong team, turning their judgement into admiration. It’s also easy to fold and very lightweight. Theoretically, a kid could carry it, but probably won’t. In any case, it won’t slow you down as you try to keep said child safe on the way back to the car as they dribble the ball aimlessly through traffic. *Note: attractive blue color matches child’s uniform exactly, so small children may disappear magically. Whether this is a pro or con depends on you.

Got the padded version, definitely higher quality than anything I've seen in this price range. 6ft tall and the back rest is high enough I can sit all the way back and its past my shoulders. Too early to tell on build quality or how well the "cooler" works so I will update if issues arise.

This AmazonBasics Camping Chair is a good product. I've had a lot of various brands and styles of folding chairs in my life, and this one ranks in the top 2. I got my chair 5 months ago and use it on my balcony every day. It is comfortable, and there are no signs of wear-and-tear, no rust, and still looks new (except for a little dirt) even though I've never put it away during inclimate weather. The right arm has a sturdy mesh cup holder, and the left arm has a nice, handy, thick vinyl(?) pocket measuring about 7.5" long by 2.25" wide by 7" deep. The pocket has 2 zippers, one on each side, which are covered with a flap that secures with velcro. I've taken the chair with me to the park and it folds easily and is light weight. I would recommend it, and I would buy it again.

We bought 2 of these camping chairs, one in black for myself and one in blue for my husband. My husband being 5' 11" got to try his out first as our cat decided she needed to test mine out for half a day before me. (Can we say spoiled much?) I am 5' 6". We got to test drive the chairs at a local music event a few weeks later. Very easy to set up as well as take down and folding up was a breeze. Putting back inside the bags was the same as putting back into any other folding chair bags, simple. (we have extensive knowledge in this area). We are very pleased with the chairs. We bought the XL size for extra comfort as I have real bad back problems and wanted the larger size for that reason. We are not disappointed at all. The only thing we wish they did have was a much larger cup holder for the real large cups (44 oz ) lol but that is a minor thing,so we adjusted by putting the huge drinks in the attached insulated cooler which worked just as well. We highly recommend these chairs.

I bought three of these portable camping chairs for 2 of my brothers and one for my oldest brother's fiancee and after they opened them, saw how EASY it was to setup, saw the different convenient additions to these chairs , such as, a cooler, a cup of can holder, AND a place for your phone, tablet, or magazine or book., they really liked them, but after they sat in them they couldn't believe how comfortable and spacious these chairs were with a high enough back to rest your head, they were ecstatic !!! Comes in royal blue or black.

This a great camping chair for this price! So far I’ve had two of them for a few months and have only good things to say about them. The seats are comfortable and wide, the cup holder is mesh and deep enough to not have your drink or bottle stick out too far where it can be knocked out easily. Sturdy frame, easy open and close, instead of a second cup holder, there is a convenient insulated zippered pouch to store a few extra drinks in! All it’s missing is some built in bug repellent and a place to store your phone/keys/etc. Good buy and I’m definitely satisfied with this purchase, constantly getting compliments on them. 👍

This is the AmazonBasics Camping Chair, Padded Xl (black) next to an Ozark Trail Regular Camping Chair (grey). This is an example of you get what you pay for. We paid $30 for the AmazonBasics chair and a little over $5 for the Ozark Trail chair. They both have a weight limit of 225lbs but you can obviously see that the black chair is bigger and better quality by a long shot so I would say it could hold more weight. ▪Steel frame is thicker than a normal camping chair frame ▪Back support is very tall, wide and comfortable (oversized) ▪Seat is very wide, long in length and also comfortable (oversized) ▪Cushion is more comfortable than a regular uncushioned camping chair ▪Fabric is great quality ▪Built in cooler is an awesome addition ▪Collapses so easy and slides right into the carry bag just as easy If you're looking for a really good, reliable camping chair, this is the perfect one! Best camping chair for any sized person. We highly recommend it! (We got 2 AmazonBasics, Padded Xl chairs and noticed that one chair has about an inch long hole in the fabric on the back side, exposing the cushion material but are still giving this product 5 stars because we've looked and tested many camp chairs and this is the best one that we've ever found. All the pros outshine the little hole, mostly because we can just stitch it up with a needle and thread!)

So far so good! This is a pretty decent size chair for sure. I am 5'4 105 pounds and I feel small in this. Will definitely fit a bigger person comfortably. Fits my husband fine, but he prefers his chair that rocks. I would say this is an average to large size chair. Definitely not small like those cheapo Walmart ones. The back part is great because it's higher so you can actually lay your head back when you're relaxing watching youth football for six hours on a Saturday. I haven't tried the cooler part but its perfect for your phone or keys etc. Folds up fine and does go back into the bag well even with the cooler part. I had no troubles. The carrying strap is great too, thick enough so it doesn't kill your shoulder.
