Worked great for the job I bought it for: drilling drainage holes in glazed ceramic pots. I used my cordless drill and it cut right through the glaze without seeming to lose sharpness after 10 or twelve holes. Recommended.

I wanted drill bits so I could make drainage holes in some of my pots. The bits worked perfectly!

Needed to drill several holes in my tile floor, & these drill bits were a perfect choice. Excellent quality & price.

I bought 4 brand name tile drill bits from Home Depot for use at home and they all failed badly. I was literally scared of working with tile until bought this one. These bits drill into ceramic tile like into tofu :). I feels pretty confident now while working on tile. It was just amazing to see these bits drill into ceramic tile in no time.

Needed a good bit to hang a fireplace mantle after several concrete bits just lost the edge quickly going in to brick. The bit from this set drilled the hole I needed very quickly and smoothly without losing any of its integrity. I am back on its listing as I am considering another set to have on hand. Very impressive bits.

Exactly what I needed for less money than the stores wanted for 1 drill bit. This cut through the tile like a hot knife to butter. Okay not THAT easy but it was amazing. I used painters tape to help “hold” the bit from slipping and went really slow. After a few rotations I got a nice little indent. I went a little deeper and then switched to a masonry bit which was smaller for my application. But this did exactly what I needed it to do. Very happy with this product. I did not have water on hand to keep the bit cool so I stopped drilling ever few seconds to blow the tip and hole and let it cool before restarting.

Used these to drill drainage holes into gardening pots. Works great. Pot did not crack. I used masking tape on the pot so the bit would not slide around, and then I used a spray bottle filled with ice water to spray the area where the bit touch the pot as I was drilling. I just kept spraying as I was drilling and the pots did not crack.

I used these to drill holes in traditional Mexican plant pots that did not have any drainage holes. Worked perfectly and my pots did not crack. I placed masking tape on the bottom of the pot to prevent the bit from slipping and I applied GENTLE pressure to avoid cracking my pot. I’m happy I can now convert any plant pot to an outdoor pot with drainage holes.

I wanted to drill a hole in a fondue pot so I could use it as a planter, and this got the job done. I thought they were kind of bad quality at first because it took quite a while to drill through, but then I realized I was drilling through "stone-ware" hardened pottery. I later used them on terracotta and they drilled through like butter. Nice little hard plastic case too.

I needed to drill about 10 holes in our Carrara marble backsplash to mount shelves. Ended up only using a single bit - which ground out the holes pretty easily - 20 seconds per hole. The bit itself is still sharp - seems to not have dulled at all. The bit tips have some sort of plastic coating that wears off as soon as you use it. Overall, this was a bit cheaper (pun intended) then the set I bought at home depot last year and seem better quality.
