FINALLY...a gauge that agrees with the Tire Pressure Monitoring System in my 2018 Cadillac ATS. I don't often write reviews, but this is a solid product that works. I've been through many gauges over the years, mechanical and electronic, trying to find one that agreed with at least one of the others. I currently have five, and the the closest two are two pounds apart. With the ATS, which shows each tire's pressure, I had to use a "fudge factor" added to the gauges' reading in order to get the correct pressure in each tire. No fudge factor needed with this gauge--the display in the car and gauge face match, giving me confidence that my tire pressure is correct. Bonuses: 1) I check the TP on each of my vehicles monthly; one small sports car (small tires), one truck (big tires), and the Caddy (medium tires compared to the others) (yes, I've been blessed), all using the two gauges that most closely agree. With this gauge, the sports car's tires were five to ten pounds low and the truck's tires were three to five pounds low (the truck has a TPMS, but no individual display). I'm confident that these vehicles now have the correct tire pressure, too. 2) This is a well-made unit, likely to last. 3) It does require two AAA batteries, but they're very easy to replace; batteries are included. 4) It's very easy to use, with a pressure release valve to let out small amounts of air if the tire is overfilled. 5) They also included a good supply of Teflon tape and four new valve stem caps--not a big deal, but it does show attention to detail. You will new an air compressor with decent output--I don't think there are very many of the 12v kind that have changeable ¼" NPT output.

Pressure is within about 2 PSI compared to 2 other gauges I have and is repeatable within about a .2 PSI range. I like the two chuck attachments: the quick clip on one works great if you press it down pretty hard before locking it (its like a traditional chuck but with a locking mechanism), the screw on one is easy to get on without any leaks but its a little challenging to unscrew it fast enough to not lose a bit of air (which only really matters on a bike tire). Either one is much better than the traditional air chuck you'd get from an auto parts store. Its easy to read the pressure quickly and adjust with the bleed valve. The only UX nit is the 'on' button is also the 'switch units' button -- when I was done with it the first few times my instinct was to turn it off by hitting the on button, this left it in the KPa units setting so next time I went to use it I was briefly confused at the reading - got used to just leaving it alone after using it. I like that they included every possible accessory and connector you might need to deal with tires, even a few extra stem caps and a valve removal tool. The only thing I don't know is if it will hold up to being dragged around the floor and beat around a bit -- time will tell that. It seems solidly built and has a rubber boot over the head unit to protect it.

Although I recently bought an EPAuto 12V DC Portable Air Compressor Pump, Digital Tire Inflator by 100 PSI to carry with me in the car, I prefer to use a stationary compressor to fill my car tires when at home. However, alternately using an air chuck and a tire gauge can be tedious, and my old air chuck didn't fit through the opening in the hub caps on my new Prius. This tire inflator is the perfect solution, and it even came with a fitting which plugs into my existing air hose. To fit my air hose, I used the included 1/4" NPT quick-connect fitting (1/2" is also included), sealing it with the included Teflon tape. I also used the Teflon tape on the threads of the inflator chuck -- a very generous amount of tape is included. This comes with some other accessories which I haven't yet used: a screw-on chuck, a valve core remover/installer, and two extra valve cores. It also comes with four extra valve caps -- and I've already used one of those after losing a cap. The chuck simply clips straight on to the valve stem with almost no loss of air, and the pressure reads out on the gauge. Just press the lever on the gauge until the pressure is correct. If you go slightly over, use the pressure release button on the back of the gauge stem to let some air out. When the pressure is right, release the valve stem and remove it quickly. With a little practice, it should be possible to limit air loss to no more than one or two tenths of a pound for car tires, but bicycle tires would be trickier due to the higher pressure and lower volume. A very minor criticism is that the plastic face of the gauge did not have a protective covering and came with slight scratches.

Inflator works great for home use. I constantly checked the pressure of this unit against my other gauges during the first few uses and it's spot on. It's great not to have to hold the chuck on the tire stem when you're filling 70lbs in a tire. It only reads the correct pressure when you are not holding the handle down to inflate the tire. When filling and you want to check the pressure, just release the handle and wait about two seconds. The gauge and back light are auto turn on and off when filling or checking pressure.

Update: The seller reached out to offer free replacement parts. That is top notch in my book. I remoment this device. Way better then my old from harbor freight. Good to see that the seller is so responsive and helpful with such a cheap part. Nice little set. Came with the tool for the valve and 4 caps. Nice extras. The meter came in as soon as you put it on and there is pressure. Only little draw back for mine is that it doesn’t seal on its own when lock into the valve stem. I have to push it in/hold onto it to seal completely. It came with some rubber? Pieces and my guess that they are replacements. I did t have time to check this out put I would t be surprised if they solve this little issue for me. All together I wonder why I didn’t buy it sooner. Way better then my older analog setup that has a fixed metal pipe to connect to the tire valve. The short rubber hose makes life so much easier.

This tire inflator makes filling tires a breeze. It comes with two different sizes of quick connect as well as two different chucks. You just attach the size you need and you are good to go. It hooks up easily to the compressor and you never have to remove it from the tire until the desired psi is reached. Very simple to use and I compared the tire psi with the reading from another digital tire gauge and it was dead on. This will be the go to from now on when we have to fill car, lawnmower or bike tires. No more switching between the gauge and the inflator.

I was tired of having to check pressure, then fill a little, check again, and so on. I bought this because it promised that I could fill & check pressure in one step. It does that for sure. I was also impressed by the large and readable pressure reading display with various pressure types. With this device I can fill to the exact pressure, in tenths, in each tire effortlessly. It was reasonably priced and seems to be of quality materials. I am happy with this product.

This pressure gauge has been an excellent tool. The first one I purchased was defective and only lasted a month or so. When I made the review about it they sent me a new one without charging me for shipping or having me send my old one back. Even for the Showmanship of customer service this product deserves a 5-star rating. Because this product is one of the least expensive pressure gauges on the market and I can verify it is a hundred percent accurate down to the tenth of the decimal, this pressure gauge is hands-down the best one you can get. I got this because I didn't want to afford the $150 Blue Point tire pressure gauge. So, I told the Snap-on truck guy that he could not have my soul today!

The digital tire inflator liquid display lighted and easy to read with very dark numbers. It is also easy to operate and the deflator bottom is comfortable to reach. The only issue I found is that the air chuck does not seal properly on the tire valve stems. I only have metal valve stems on my cars, so I have to hold and press the chuck tight while using the inflator, but AstroAl contacted me and sent me a replacement free of change. The new replacement works perfectly.

8/13/2018: I received a replacement Tire Inflator for the one I reviewed below. This replacement arrived quickly and in perfect condition. The problem that I had with the first AstroAI digital tire inflator (loose female NPT on the inflator) were corrected on the replacement that I received today. The 1/4" male NPT quick connect screwed in snugly before it bottomed out. I taped the threads with PTFE tape and screwed the quick connect in place - looks good with no leaks. I have checked the pressure on 10 tires in my shop and the inflator end clipped to the valve stems on all tires with no problems and stayed in place properly. I was able to add air to the tires, bleed air from the tires, and check the pressure with no issues. I am totally satisfied with this AstroAI product and would recommend it. The customer service of AstroAI is the best that I have ever dealt with. They reached out to me to rectify this problem, shipped a replacement inflator, and kept me informed with emails at each step. This tire inflator appears to be well made BUT the 1/4" FPT on the valve assembly were cut way too big. The 1/4" MPT quick connect adapter that was supplied would screw into the valve assembly VERY easily and would bottom out before tight. I tried some other 1/4" quick connector adapters that I had with the same loose results. I use the supplied PTFE tape to tape the male threads (8 wraps) and the adapter would still bottom out and leak air. The supplied PTFE tape is useless - it is so thin that I could read newsprint through it easily. I dug out my Permacel Ribbon Dope 0.09 mm thick (PTFE tape) and used it - 6 wraps. This allowed the fitting to seal off before it bottomed out. I used the inflator to check/fill tires and this part worked well. The manufacturer needs to check their tolerances on their pipe threading die.
