Secure

I use these outside my house to leave a key for the dog walker and it works great. Easy to reprogram the code. There's a hole on the back to attach it to a nail on a wall. There is a little door that slides to conceal the numbers to unlock it (prevents it from getting water in there). I only put one key in and it fits easily.

Not sure if a defect or design flaw. UPDATED

PREVIOUS REVIEW: 3 Stars It's decent. When I mounted it to a wood beam on the deck, it must have altered the shape of it, as it's damn hard to open and close now. The box opened fine when it wasn't mounted. EDIT-- The seller reached out to me and offered to replace or refund the order if I provided pictures. Upon going out to inspect it, I realized that one of the screws holding it in was slightly skewed, and that altered the shape just enough that it was causing the previous problem. Since remounting it, it works flawlessly, and I have since updated the review to reflect that.

Good for specetations

Looks nice and bulky but anyone with a crow bar will rip it of the wall in less than a minute and with a quiet nice small sludge hammer will get the keys in to the thieves access and your house holds will be gone.

Great Product for the Money

Great design, easy to mount. Beats leaving a key under the mat for someone. I only keep keys in it for housekeeper or family when we are out of town. I mounted it in a discrete location not visible from the street or when you walk up to the house. The one recommendation I would make is to not mount it too low. It’s a little difficult to see the dials when you are looking to far down on it. No fault of the product just a mistake I made when mounting it.

Solid construction and easy to set the combination.

Very easy to set the combination. I was able to install it in 30 seconds. The locking mechanism seems very solid; this thing built like a tank and I is just what I was looking for. It would hold an even larger key ring if I had a larger one.

Love this lock box

Love this lock box! It's easy to use and the quality is great. I love the door that covers the key pad, it makes it look more discrete. There is also plenty of space for more than just a key if you wanted to stash something small in it.
