I really like the product. Price seems a bit high but I didn’t find any better anywhere else for the blue one specifically. I feel like the keyboard case feels sturdy without being too heavy. The last one I got was way heavier. I like the Apple Pencil holder but its basically a little cloth (of some kind) loop. It will probably last a while but seems like it could get worn or dirty easily. The blue is very dark, its hard to tell it’s blue, but it is. The keyboard and case disconnect easily if bent a certain way but its got a strong magnet connection that makes it easy to put together. There is a little rubber pad that keeps the screen from rubbing the keys. I think the case is as close to perfect for me as I can get. I use it as a student, for work, and personal which means I need it to be versatile. I use the keyboard often and prefer to have the pencil with me but could not find many cases with a smart connecting keyboard and pencil holder. It props up with a little built in kick stand which is neat but not ideal for some surfaces I use that are not particularly wide or even. It has multiple angles you can bend it to so that makes up for it. I also believe the materials its made of may scratch or get dirty easily with my lifestyle because I am clumsy and I am not sure if this can hold up with that. It does stay shut with a magnet but not sure if it gets dropped how well that will hold up but cant say for sure. Its really neat that you can just disconnect the two so you can use just the iPad. I do a lot of switching between watching videos, typing, and writing. All in all no complaints just explaining how it works in case you needed to know.

Best one on the market! I returned another design and got this one, and I'm completely happy with it. Logitech does it again! The 3-pin edge connector for the keyboard is completely solid, held by strong magnets and a very well designed self-aligning case. Note that you can easily take the keyboard off when it's not needed. The case protects the iPad well, but the tradeoff is added thickness. The adjustable foot that holds up the screen can be adjusted to any angle from about 40 to 80 degrees, which covers most use cases such as reading, typing, watching a video, etc. This is one of the very few cases with a holder for the Apple Pen. Just a simple loop of elastic, very easy to use. The keyboard is great. Good feel, good key travel, lighted. Better than the Logitech bluetooth keyboard I used to use. I've used lots of Logitech products, and I like their quality. I think this is one of their best designs. I expect years of trouble-free use. Well done, Logitech!

So after reading the reviews and knowing that the keyboard detached and was an issue for some, I sit here typing this review on my iPad screen instead of my keyboard, because 1, I have know idea where the keyboard is, it came off so many times that I finally left it somewhere, 2, I have gotten so used to, and fast at screen typing, that and actual keyboard now feels a little alien to me know, and 3, I had thought I could balance it in my lap like my laptop and type, but it kept coming apart. But I absolutely love the no Bluetooth connection and how it looked like a compact and stylish laptop that protected my screen. My only wish was that it did not connect with magnets that release too easy. The perfect endgame would have the keyboard stay permanently attached to the back cover, but do a 360 and tuck behind it when I just wanted to use my iPad sans keyboard. Will you do that for use Logitech? ;) Oh, and the price blew Apples version out of the water!

Let's start with what I disliked about it when receiving the package, so when I got home and I opened up the package. The original box of the product wasn't wrapped in plastic like you see in the store and looked beat up. The foaming that separated the case and the keyboard was torn and some hanging out the closed box as I opened it.The logi case looked good besides 2 stains of grease that looked like they came from fingers after someone had ate. My thought is that the product wasn't new due to the box and foam and stains on the product however it seems to be working well. I just hope it last and that I wasn't played about this product being new.

I’ve had the keyboard for about five days and am so happy I thought I’d write the review right away. This means I can’t judge durability although my sense is this is a robust product that will hold up. They have thought about everything. The magnetic connection between keyboard and iPad is easy and makes an immediate functional connection. Keyboard charges while connected so no worries about having to charge yet another device each evening. Keyboard is backlit - Apple’s isn’t. The keyboard case protects the back and front of the IPad but is slim and sleek. The holder for the Apple Pencil is convenient and out of the way. I suppose the only drawback I didn’t realize is that it is not a laptop-maker. That is, you still need a table to work but otherwise this is a perfect solution. I’m very happy with the design and function of this keyboard. I’d buy it again. Glad I researched and didn’t settle for the Apple product.

I dont understand the poor reviews I see for this item on Amazon. True, there can be SOME bad ones out of the factory or, maybe the supplier got knock offs infiltrated into their supply. However, the one I just got works and functions very well. The complained about kick-out that holds the IPad up appears to be well made and is quite sturdy. The IPad itself snaps into the case and protects it very well. The keyboard connects to the IPad in the EXACT same way as the Apple version does. Its magnectic, so dont expect to hold the keyboard in your hand and then swing it violently around, its not designed for that, however, it “Sticks” very well while in use on your lap or on a table (as DESIGNED TO). FUNCTIONALITY: The Apple keyboard does NOT have the following keys, but this one DOES: Decicated keys: Arrow, brightness, speaker volume, reverse, forward, desktop reveal, lock and others which are not on the Apple version. I cant understand why anyone would want any other keyboard. This one connects to the IPad electronicaly, hard wired, not via Blue Tooth. How long will this unit last??? I’ll use it daily and after 6 months, I will come back and update this review. .

Logitech usually puts out nice quality devices. I rated the material and durability of this one with only four (4) stars because I don’t know how long the kickstand will hold up. Overall I gave it five (5) stars because I like the feel and use of the device. It adds minimal weight, but the 2015 12.9 iPad Pro is already pretty heavy on its own. This case does not seem to add to much additional weight and is actually lighter than some of the cases I own for this iPad. The functionality of this case, if it holds up, will make this one my favorite one to date. I purchased two of these (from different sellers); one for my 12.9 inch iPad Pro and one for my 10.5 inch iPad Pro. I will be leaving my comments for both iPads. My pros and cons with this case are as follows: Pros: - Pencil holder is firm and long and holds the iPencil securely; - There are raised bumpers to the left and right side that keep the keys raised above the screen when closed on the 12.9 inch iPad; - There is one single bumper above the keys on the 10.5 inch iPad Pro case that keeps the keys from touching the screen; - Adjust in about four (4) different angles; - Keyboard detaches easily from the case, yet attaches firmly; - Keyboard is backlit and the light dims and then goes out after about 30 seconds of non-use; however as soon as you touch a key it pops back on. I like that; - The 12.9 inch iPad Pro keyboard cover has a piece that extends beyond the keys that can be folded under the keyboard so it is out of the way; - The keys have a nice click to them. It may be annoying for those that don’t like to hear that, but I don’t mind it. The keys respond nicely and are comfortable to type; - When closing the case, it puts the iPad to sleep; - I like that this keyboard has the row of shortcut keys for volume, sound, light, etc. Others have made comments about the position of the lock key, and I don’t see or have a problem with where it’s located. I type quick and fast and for me the position of the lock key does not interfere with the delete key. - There is a space between the tablet and the keyboard that you can use to place the iPencil on both the 10.5 and 12.9 cases if you do not want to put it back in the pencil loop at the top while using the keyboard. That’s what I use it for because I don’t like touching my screen with my fingers, so I use the pencil a lot when I need to and I want it handy. Cons: - The keyboard has too much swing or give to it. It doesn’t stay aligned. It does not prevent you from typing or anything, it’s just a bit annoying for me. - The kickstand feels a tad cheap and breakable. I’m very gentle with my devices and cases, so I will see how the kickstand holds up. - Not a comfortable typing experience while sitting unless you have it on a lap table, which I have and will use with this. You can type with it on your lap while in bed easily, which is what I’m doing now. I place the kickstand over my knees and type with the keyboard on my thighs. So it’s comfortable typing on a table top or in the bed on your lap but not so much sitting in a chair with it on your lap. In the questions and answers section, a few people wanted to know if you can use just an Apple or other case cover for the front|screen portion of the tablet with the backing on it and the answer is YES; HOWEVER, you can fold the case cover behind but there are no magnets to keep it attached to the back and you won’t be able to use the kickstand unless you remove the case cover. But, you can definitely interchangeably use a regular case cover with it. AND to be CLEAR, it has to be a SMART case cover. My last two photos show the Smart Cover attached to it. And yes, it fits properly and covers the case correctly. The sleep and wake magnets works well with it too. It also stands up well and sturdy in portrait mode. 👍🏽👍🏽 In summary, I LIKE IT! I will be using this case on my 10.5 and 12.9 inch tablets most of the time. I invested in so many other cases because I have various needs and uses and they all don’t fit the bill. However, this one I believe may just be what I’ve been looking for. After I’ve had a chance to use it for a while, if there is anything else that I’d like to share or change, I’ll update my post. I’ve attached photos so you can see the the difference between the two sizes. I use my finger to show where the bumpers are on them both. So far I’m very pleased with my purchases and at this point, I would definitely recommend this very versatile case to others. I hope this review helps you with making an informed decision.

Love it! I looked at loads of cases and keyboard choices before settling on this one, and it has more than lived up to my expectations. I just finished a two-day workshop using it all day as a pseudo-laptop for note taking. Features I love about it: * Keyboard is easily removable when I don't need it, but re-connects with a single click when I do * Folds up (with keyboard connected) to create a hard shell case to protect the iPad * Apple Pencil loop included, positioned so it works whether or not the keyboard is attached * Slightly raised edge on the iPad half keeps keyboard keys from pressing into the screen * Kickstand on the iPad half is adjustable and works with or without the keyboard * Keyboard uses the smart connector, not Bluetooth, so it works even in airplane mode * Keyboard is wireless so I can use it even while charging the iPad (vs. usb keyboards that need the same port as the charger) * Cheaper than the Apple Smart Keyboard and much cheaper than that keyboard plus a case, since this is really both (although would be my choice even if the price were the same) * Perfect keys for typing -- natural size and shape, satisfying amount of click/rebound (I'm very picky about that), but also quiet enough not to annoy the people around me in a workshop or seminar, exactly right

I am in love with this combo by Logitech. I bought it around last July-August, and I have been using it for college since. It Is lightweight, the keyboard is responsive and lit, and the Apple Pencil holder is extremely convenient. I have not dropped it yet, so I cannot say how well it will protect the iPad to drops. HOWEVER, 2 keys literally were destroyed while the keyboard was in my bag due to me accidentally dropping something on the keyboard. I was devastated, this isn’t a cheap purchase! But I submitted a warranty claim, and Logitech sent me a brand new set in less than a week of the keys breaking. This company is fantastic, and I recommend it wholeheartedly! Huge thanks for Logitech for making a durable product and sending me a new one lightening fast :)

I’ve tried a number of different keyboards cases and straight keyboards and this is hands down the best option! It has 3 intensity backlit keyboard, Smart Connect so no worrying about laggy Bluetooth, strong magnet so it doesn’t rip off too easy. The keyboard keys feel good and are quiet and non cheap feeling. The only drawback is that the case is a bit clunky, but it’s no biggy. It has a nice cushion thingy to rest on the screen when it’s closed, the stand is tight and solid and adjusts to whatever angle you want. It’s not one of those “click lock” stands that only give you a few angles. The shift key is the size it should be which is a big plus! Don’t know why it’s so hard for other brands to grasp this. It does everything you would expect from a keyboard!
