My iPad Pro 12.9” has been unleashed!!
This is what I’ve always needed for my iPad Pro to truly be the laptop replacement it is meant to be. It is extremely ergonomic and comfortable to type. I used to be of mind that these aren’t necessary but now see why they truly help getting the most out of your iPad. The set up is effortless as it just snaps on each corner snuggly and the keyboard simply attracts to the magnetic ends of the iPad and goes on it without having to align them. I would highly recommend this case combo over any others including Apple’s own Smart Keyboard cover because it covers everything you would need to do with your iPad Pro. If you want to just view the iPad, the Smart Keyboard can be taken off and the back kickstand can be adjusted almost in any way you need. You can also stand it up in Portrait thanks to the the versatility of the kickstand. PROS I’ll try to narrow it down to just 4 1. The keyboard is so comfortable you’ll wonder how you ever did without it 2. The kickstand is excellent for viewing content and is extremely sturdy and can be set almost any way you can fathom 3. Total protection of your iPad. Instead of only covering the bottom half like Apple’s Keyboard cover, this covers your entire iPad. You can fold up the the keyboard so it closes like a laptop or can remove the keyboard and have the case still protecting the outside chassis 4. You get it all. The keyboard, Pencil holder, cover, kickstand. There is no thing this thing cannot do There is one con but it is just my personal comfort. CON: The kickstand can be uncomfortable on your legs when you have this on your lap. I hope you find this review helpful

Great Keyboard!!!
100% satisfied with this set-up. Key board works perfect. I use this on a construction site daily and I separate the keyboard multiple times a day to look at drawings in touch screen mode, then reattach at the end of day to do my daily work. Have not dropped my iPad yet so I’m not sure how much protection the case will give, and I hope not to anytime soon, cuz I don’t think it will take much of an impact to ruin the iPad. Bottom line very happy with this purchase!!

Absolutely LOVE this keyboard
Absolutely LOVE this keyboard. Originally, I bought Apple's "smart" (NOT) keyboard for my 12.9" iPad Pro. So many reasons that both design and functionality fail with the Apple vs. Logitech's. 1) The Logitech designs its case to be sturdy and easy to use and gives the iPad the feel (and added screen protection) of a laptop. 2) Super easy set up. 4) Apple's only has one tilt position. Logitech's tilts at any desired angle, and can be used (supported) in the vertical position for reading, facetiming etc. Just take the keyboard off. 5) Apple's is NOT back lit. Serious flaw. Logitech's is not only back lit, but has 3 brightness settings. 6) Logitech's has a Smart Pencil holder, Apple's does not. 7) Logitech has all the shortcut keys you cld need. Apple's does not - zero. Again, Apple, what were you thinking? 9) There are connection issues with Apple's keyboard. It doesn't work reliably. When I googled the issue, one suggestion was to "slide" the iPad a little until it "settles" correctly on the magnetized connectors. I tried that and it did temporarily resolve the problem, but who wants a product that sometimes doesn't work? So far, no issue with Logitech's. 8) Prefer the feel of Logitech's keys vs. Apple's. NOTE: Apple keyboard is $30 less than Logitech, but Logitech's price difference is worth every penny. Srsly, cannot find anything negative to say re: this keyboard.

LOVE this keyboard!!!
I REALLY love this keyboard. I had a major accident in June so am trapped in my bed as I heal. I had the Apple Smart Keyboard for iPad Pro, which was fine but this one is SO much better. For one thing, the kickstand on the back gives me much more flexibility in how I use it and makes it very stable on my lap. It’s also great that the kickstand works for holding in portrait mode so I can make FaceTime calls with family and friends (FaceTime is really important when you’re bedridden, at least for me). The keyboard is great also. The keys have a more solid feel and the travel is nice — feels like you are typing on a real computer. It’s also wonderful that the keys are backlit, which makes it much easier to type at night. It even has a loop to hold the Apple Pencil if you have one. The build quality is very good, and it’s well worth the price. The only downside is that it is heavier than the other keyboard, but it also does more so I’m okay with that.

The Perfect iPad Case For Me
Pros: * Adjustable kickstand built in to case, angle can be adjusted in a manner similar to the Surface Pro (can be set to virtually any angle) * Apple stylus holder built in to case * Keyboard does not require a separate power source: it runs off of the battery of the iPad Pro (does not need to be charged) * Keyboard does not require a Bluetooth connection - it communicates with the iPad directly through its physical connection on the side of the iPad (the iPad Pro has a power/communication “port”/connector on the side of the tablet separate from the lightening port) * Keyboard has a nice “feel” to it - nice typing experience/decent size keyboard for a tablet * Case completely covers/protects the screen when closed and feels pretty rugged: nice material Cons: * Likely would not protect the iPad from a major drop, but sufficient for routine protection from scratches/small drops (e.g. not heavily rubberized) * Cannot utilize keyboard once it is separated from the tablet (some Bluetooth keyboards provide the ability to type when the keyboard is up to a few feet from the tablet - this does not)

The keyboard isnt bluetooth and the case is very thin but protective.
I love this thing so much. I never write reviews but I freaking love this thing. The first one i got lost a key from the keyboard and it was replaced quickly. But this thing is thin but protective and the keybaord isnt bluetooth so doesnt drain battery. The key board responds immediately when you start to use it too. Its got a bunch of different ways to support the ipad to stand up. Just love it. I have used Zagg covers and other brands that bluetooth but this then does it through the magnetic connection i think and its so so much better.

I LIKE IT!!! 👍🏽👍🏽
Logitech usually puts out nice quality devices. I rated the material and durability of this one with only four (4) stars because I don’t know how long the kickstand will hold up. Overall I gave it five (5) stars because I like the feel and use of the device. It adds minimal weight, but the 2015 12.9 iPad Pro is already pretty heavy on its own. This case does not seem to add to much additional weight and is actually lighter than some of the cases I own for this iPad. The functionality of this case, if it holds up, will make this one my favorite one to date. I purchased two of these (from different sellers); one for my 12.9 inch iPad Pro and one for my 10.5 inch iPad Pro. I will be leaving my comments for both iPads. My pros and cons with this case are as follows: Pros: - Pencil holder is firm and long and holds the iPencil securely; - There are raised bumpers to the left and right side that keep the keys raised above the screen when closed on the 12.9 inch iPad; - There is one single bumper above the keys on the 10.5 inch iPad Pro case that keeps the keys from touching the screen; - Adjust in about four (4) different angles; - Keyboard detaches easily from the case, yet attaches firmly; - Keyboard is backlit and the light dims and then goes out after about 30 seconds of non-use; however as soon as you touch a key it pops back on. I like that; - The 12.9 inch iPad Pro keyboard cover has a piece that extends beyond the keys that can be folded under the keyboard so it is out of the way; - The keys have a nice click to them. It may be annoying for those that don’t like to hear that, but I don’t mind it. The keys respond nicely and are comfortable to type; - When closing the case, it puts the iPad to sleep; - I like that this keyboard has the row of shortcut keys for volume, sound, light, etc. Others have made comments about the position of the lock key, and I don’t see or have a problem with where it’s located. I type quick and fast and for me the position of the lock key does not interfere with the delete key. - There is a space between the tablet and the keyboard that you can use to place the iPencil on both the 10.5 and 12.9 cases if you do not want to put it back in the pencil loop at the top while using the keyboard. That’s what I use it for because I don’t like touching my screen with my fingers, so I use the pencil a lot when I need to and I want it handy. Cons: - The keyboard has too much swing or give to it. It doesn’t stay aligned. It does not prevent you from typing or anything, it’s just a bit annoying for me. - The kickstand feels a tad cheap and breakable. I’m very gentle with my devices and cases, so I will see how the kickstand holds up. - Not a comfortable typing experience while sitting unless you have it on a lap table, which I have and will use with this. You can type with it on your lap while in bed easily, which is what I’m doing now. I place the kickstand over my knees and type with the keyboard on my thighs. So it’s comfortable typing on a table top or in the bed on your lap but not so much sitting in a chair with it on your lap. In the questions and answers section, a few people wanted to know if you can use just an Apple or other case cover for the front|screen portion of the tablet with the backing on it and the answer is YES; HOWEVER, you can fold the case cover behind but there are no magnets to keep it attached to the back and you won’t be able to use the kickstand unless you remove the case cover. But, you can definitely interchangeably use a regular case cover with it. AND to be CLEAR, it has to be a SMART case cover. My last two photos show the Smart Cover attached to it. And yes, it fits properly and covers the case correctly. The sleep and wake magnets works well with it too. It also stands up well and sturdy in portrait mode. 👍🏽👍🏽 In summary, I LIKE IT! I will be using this case on my 10.5 and 12.9 inch tablets most of the time. I invested in so many other cases because I have various needs and uses and they all don’t fit the bill. However, this one I believe may just be what I’ve been looking for. After I’ve had a chance to use it for a while, if there is anything else that I’d like to share or change, I’ll update my post. I’ve attached photos so you can see the the difference between the two sizes. I use my finger to show where the bumpers are on them both. So far I’m very pleased with my purchases and at this point, I would definitely recommend this very versatile case to others. I hope this review helps you with making an informed decision. Update January 5, 2019: The keyboard sometimes will not connect properly so I have to detach and reattach it, which can be aggravating. Also, regarding using it on your lap, you can use it without the keyboard easily and nicely; however, if you need the keyboard it will be a bit awkward. But like I mentioned earlier, if you use a lap desk the keyboard use is nice.

Powered from iPad, fantastic design!
I was a bit skeptical of this after reading several of the reviews but then I saw it at an Apple store. This is very well designed and since Logitech collaborated directly with Apple on the design, not only is it powered from the iPad and uses high strength magnets to connect it, you also get a lot of other functionality such as home screen access, display dimming, volume controls and two levels of backlit keys. It also turns the iPad on when you open it. The back shell is great and the iPad snaps into it very tightly but it doesn't wrap around too far and ruin the look of the iPad face. It is, of course, cheaper here than at the Apple store so this is where I made my purchase. I think they collaborated on their box too, very Apple-esque. The only drawback to this is that you can't wrap it around onto the back of the iPad or it will disconnect. You can however remove it, fold it in half and put it into your back pocket, which is what I did walking project sites marking up drawings using the Gripzilla Pro: https://smile.amazon.com/gp/product/B014K9DJ72/ref=oh_aui_detailpage_o06_s00?ie=UTF8&psc=1 The Gripzilla attached to the iPad with the back cover of the Logitech Slim still attached and you can still access all function buttons and it doesn't get in the way of the camera.

Bad shipping, but great product
I had a difficult time with this review because the product box was thoroughly crushed and damaged, which upset me. I originally was going to return it, but it was a long drive to an Apple Store that had it in stock. The device was undamaged, but Amazon workers should take greater care in what they pick and ship. Based on this alone, it should get a 1-star review. But I don't like those kinds of reviews that focus on everything but the actual quality and function of the product. So let me stick with the Logitech Keyboard Case and not Amazon's lack of competence in shipping. 1. This is a strong, protective case. Hey, the product box was crushed, and yet it survived, perfectly so far. The iPad Pro 12.9 is a very expensive device, so a case like this is critical for me. 2. This keyboard runs off the universal connector, so no batteries and no using Bluetooth. And when I don't need the keyboard, it disconnects instantly. 3. The keyboard is way better than the Apple keyboard, which really isn't protective. 4. The keyboard is backlit – and you all know how useful that is in low light situations. 5. I've had two Logitech keyboards for Apple iPads, and they're nearly indestructible. One is going on 2 years, and another for 1.5 years. No complaints whatsoever. On the negative side, they are a bit heavy. Will you notice a few extra grams from it with the overall weight and size of the iPad Pro? Probably not. Plus real protection, means have a robust case, and this is it. I highly recommend this Product. I don't recommend whoever picked the worst package condition to ship to me.

Better than Apple's "Smart" Keyboard
After using Apple's Smart Keyboard for about a year, I saw this Logitech keyboard on sale and decided to try it out. There are MANY killer features with this product, stating with it's Smart connector. Yes! No need to charge this separately! It works from the instant you connect it. I LOVE having the iOS shortcuts on the keyboard as well as the backlit keys (which I can turn on and off with keyboard shortcuts, as well). Key travel is decent, although the keys click much louder than with the Apple keyboard. My iPad Pro had a tough time connecting to and maintaining a connection with the Apple keyboard which was surprising and annoying. This Logitech has been perfect so far. I included pictures of both keyboards side by side for a comparison.
