I haven’t used the lights on this yet but it’s gotten plenty of use to get snow off the very top of my truck. About two weeks before I purchased this, I slowed down to come up to a red light... ALL the snow from the top of my pickup truck came forward onto my windshield. This was at a very busy intersection with lots of traffic, impossible to get out and clean it off. Wipers worked somewhat but there was still a pile of snow blocking over 50% of my view. Not safe at all so I proceeded to the nearest place to pullover to get out and clean off the hood. Very glad I have this now and use it all the time. Works great in light and heavy snow and doesn’t scratch the finish. If you live in snow country, don’t hesitate! Get this thing, you will not regret it. I used to drive school bus and this thing would have saved lots of time as part of every ‘pre-trip’ before my route.

This is the best snow removal tool you'll ever buy! It's literally the only one you need. Those old brushes are not as effective as this large piece of foam that can easily push off the snow! You really won't be dissapointed. The LED lights are nice to have but not that bright just an fyi. It's better than nothing though and can be used as an S.O.S. The quality of the material is so good that the original one I bought 1 year ago still works perfectly, the foam is still intact and the twist locking mechanism still works perfectly. I like to review products that I've extensively used and this is one of the products I've truly put to the test. The winters in NJ are pretty harsh but I'm sure other places are far worse and this tool will still survive.

I have purchased a few products from Sun/Snow Joe over the years and have always been very satisfied with every product. They have all offered good quality and dependable service at very competitive pricing. This snow broom is no exception and falls right into this category. I’m not the tallest guy around and always have a hard time clearing snow off the roof of my van. Checked out YouTube to see if there was anything that might help and this broom was featured in a few videos. Looked good so I switched to Amazon and there it was, two days later I had it in my hands just in time for 8”s of heavy wet snow that hit my area. The broom worked great, the extendable handle helped me reach across the vans roof and clear it with no problems. Here’s the best part, the broom arrived damaged in shipping. The clips that hold the handle to the body for storage were broken. I called Snow Joe and spoke to a very courteous and helpful representative who sent out a no charge replacement to me that same day. Great products, great prices, great service, that’s Sun/Snow Joe! I recommend their products and company.

Most useful winter snow removal tool

Very effective way to remove snow and ice from your SUV or car. I especially like the build of the unit, as it will not scratch your paint but will remove all snow and ice. It also has a built in light supported by a battery, and comes in handy at night. You can extend the handle as well, which is especially helpful with my Ford Explorer SUV. Get it for the winter and put it in your trunk.

This product is amazing! When I first looked at it before using it, I thought it was going to be cheap and fall apart quickly. I was very wrong. This product is lightweight which is great for little people. I can get a foot of snow off my car in seconds with this item compared to others around me with different snow brushes taking a hour just to get it all. I will not scratch your car either. I recommend this item to anyone who lives in a area with a lot of snow. I haven't even had to use the handy lights that are installed on it; I'm eager to see how amazing those are as well. (I've turned them on and know that work, but haven't needed them in action yet.)

Awesome!

This thing is flat out awesome! Snow removal from the vehicles is completed in half the time now. Just push it off (or hook and pull it) and you're done in a snap. I have yet needed to use the LEDs, but it's a neat feature to have. The one area that this cannot tackle is underneath any standard wings/spoilers. I'm not talking about huge obnoxious ones, but the type you would find stock on 'sport' model vehicles. For example, my '09 Lancer GTS...I cannot clear the snow out from under the wing with this. I still need to use a brush turned sideways. Not going to ding the product for this though, just keep it in mind!

Best car/van/SUV snow remover out there!!

This is the second Snow Joe I’ve purchased. And only did so because my first one just simply wore out after SIX YEARS!! The telescopic handle just gave out and wouldn’t stay long any more. Since I have a Honda Odyssey and I’m 5’1” I need it to telescope. So, now it’s in my husbands car 😁. I was pleasantly surprised to find out the new ones come with a LED light feature. Both to see at night and in case of an emergency. One other great thing about this is is will not scratch your paint!!! This is a must-have for anyone who has an SUV or a mini van and is shorter than 5’10”. And you can count on it lasting for years.

Wish I had one Sooner

I wasn't very sure about these but when I used mine to get the heavy 4-5 inches of snow off my car it was so easy. I hated to get the snow off my car when it snowed a lot. I didn't feel like I was hardly doing any work. Before this I used a plastic shovel and it was not easy. The people that I gave the other three to as gifts also loved them. They are very light and easy to use. Wish I would have had one years ago. I have never seen one until shopping on Amazon. I can't remember how I even spotted them but I am happy I read about them and the reviews. I haven't tried the lights yet cause I really do not need them but I am sure they are just as great.

I'm Very Happy With This Snow-Broom / Ice Scraper And It's Very Effective!

I ordered one of these snow-broom / ice scrapers right before we got hit with several Upstate NY snowstorms.. I waited for the snow and ice to pile up and freeze on top of my Honda Element, then gave this thing a whirl.. Not only did the snow-broom clear some heavy compacted snow, the scraper chopped through ice I figured would have cracked the plastic. Wow, Impressive! I owned/operated detail and custom auto shops, so I've used a lot of different brooms, scrapers, squeegees, etc. in the past, but IMO, this one has just become my new personal favorite. The collapsible / extendable handle worked great, and even w/ the heavy snow, it didn't slip one bit.. Then on top of that, the flashing LED lights are an added plus.. Just in case someone might need to guide in and help land a plane or heli. =D The lights all worked well, and you never know when they'll come in handy. Overall, I'd say they're worth it for sure, and I'll highly recommend them!

Love it!

These things are every nice for plowing lots of snow off your windshield, roof, hood, and tonneau cover. Beats the heck out of using a brush to try to sweep piles of snow off (what a pain). This plow is very lightweight, yet sturdy enough for its job, and the telescoping handle is quite nice to extend your reach easily. The lights are a nice touch as well. One drawback, if you have a lot of heavy wet or crispy icy snow, it can be rough on the foam. Use good judgment if using in heavy wet snow. Best in powder of course, but of you live where I live powder is a rare treat because it's easy to remove. Thankfully it has a nice scraper on the end for when you need it. Happy with this, considering buying a second.
