End broke off my 2000 Chevy Silverado. Purchased this to replace it. After a little trouble pulling out to old one, this installed quite easily. So far a good product that works like it should. Would purchase again.

Nice product

I was very happy it arrived on time. Very easy to install and works perfectly. It took about 10 minutes to install with only a wrench to put it the bolt that holds the lever on.

Exact match

Cable and replace handle were an exact match for my 2006 Chevy Silverado. The actual braided steel cable seemed heavier than the manufacturers replacement cable I installed three years ago, which stretched and frayed into the sheathing. Had a fun time installing, especially with a torn abdominal muscle from the flu. The only complaint is that the label on the handle is located near the bottom of the handle, but it works just fine.

Yup, it's a parking brake release handle

Not much to say. It's a parking brake release handle. The cable on mine was broken down by the pedal when I bought my Tahoe, so this was the fix I needed, and it took all of like 5 minutes to install. The graphic print on it is different than the factory one, but unless you had the old one to compare it against, or you're just reeeeeeeally familiar with these vehicles, then you'll never notice it.

I was very well satisfied with this parking brake release cable because it is exactly the same as the original one that came from the factory. It only took about fifteen to remove the broken cable and install the replacement. If ever the need again I will contact you guys for sure. Thanks GWA AA Ignition and Amazon your service.

Unable to find a replacement release that fit my truck, so I made this one work!

After looking everywhere for a replacement parking brake release that would work in my 2000 GMC Sonoma, and not finding anything, I went ahead and bought this item knowing full well that it would not fit my truck. After a few minor modifications (I had to bend the metal mounting bracket closed just a little, and I added a small spring to end of the cable) this brake release ended up working out alright. It's definitely not the prettiest DIY fix, but it does what I need it to do. Overall very happy with this item. It shipped/arrived on time, and was exactly as described.

Wonderful Product

This is the second park brake release cable I've had to install on this truck. I've driven and used the park brake on various cars and trucks for the past 45 years. I have never had to replace the release cable on any vehicle until I bought this truck. The cable I installed about 4 years ago came from Advance Auto Parts. The cost on it was over $40.00 and only had a 1 year warranty. This cable purchase has made me extremely happy, not only for the price but the lifetime warranty as well. It was an exact fit as well. Hopefully I will never need to replace this cable. I do know where I will be making future auto parts purchases. Thanks for a great fitting product, excellent price and warranty.

Works fine. Lifetime Warranty (Hopefully won't need it, but probably will)

Works as intended. And has lifetime warranty so if it breaks like the factory one hopefully I can just get a new one again :) Was a little bit of a challenge to install but finally got it after like 20 min. Also, this one the P logo looks not as great as the factory, and is a little lower but I only care that it works, and you can still tell it is the release, just like I said the P is a little lower on the handle. Overall, not too bad.

Good fit for 2004 Silverado

Item is a perfect fit for a 2004 Silverado. Install was easy despite no instructions included with the item. It's pretty straight forward with a little common sense. Install took about 15 minutes. Save the rubber gasket from the old one as the new one does not come with one.

Works for 2006 suburban z71

This is an exact replacement. The plastic handle on this is a little more glossy than the stock one. The cable fit perfect and our emergency brake works again. We have a 2006 suburban z71. The price for this is the best price on the entire internet and local shops did not have this.
