Absolutely Beautiful

These glasses arrived a day before scheduled, which was appreciated as they were a time sensitive gift. I needed a gift with an Art Deco theme, and these hit the nail on the head. The glass is thick and lovely and the design st the bottom makes them gorgeous. They came very well packed in a stately, leather like case. Perfect for a masculine gift, or any scotch/whiskey drinker with great taste!

Perfect..outstanding crafting

Wow to start these glasses arrive in a padded box that could rival an Abrams Tank... nothing damaging these things.Then once out ,these glasses look amazing. Clear, nice weight to them. Love the aspect of the bottom being a little "zig zaggy" I would highly recommend anything from this company, if these glasses are an indication.

Excellent glasses

The package arrived. I opened it to find a beautiful box. I opened the box to find a beautiful presentation. I inspected each glass thoroughly. No defects. Flawless. Product is as advertised. The glasses are very stout and on the large side. Yet the base with the ridges make them easy enough to handle. You will drink out of the corners of the glass. Personally I like the oversize glasses to make a statement about the enjoyment of drinking scotch (or whatever). I would definitely recommend them. I am very pleased with the purchase.

These glasses are even more elegant than the pictures depict. We live on a sailboat and plan to resume our cruising adventures across the South Pacific. The glasses came in an archival type box, nestled in plenty of foam to keep them safe for a long time. The box itself was a treat. The glasses are as described-- beautiful art deco, worthy of your favorite beverage. Use them or every day or the most special of occasions.

The Jetsons!

The term "Art Deco", being attributed to the 1930's and 1940's at the dawn of the futuristic rocket age, would seem to be the inspiration behind both The Jetsons and these glasses. ;) My set of glasses arrived in perfect condition in a gloriously well-crafted black & gold display/gift box. The glasses are snugly encased in 4 layers of dense black foam. The box top is kept from falling backward by a black silk ribbon on the left side. I bought this set for myself, but the presentation would make an incredibly nice gift for any sipper who appreciates art deco styles. Each glass is said to hold 10 ounces and they are quite large in the hand which would lend these well to many other types of drinks besides just liquor. The flare is perfect and the futuristic art deco-style ridges on the bottom (as I call them) are not perfectly symmetrical, rather, they have a very unique asymmetrical slant to them that reveals more thoughtful detail to the design than if they were simply straight (it's hard to explain, but when you see it you will appreciate it). When I removed the glasses from the box I immediately washed them with soap and water, dried them thoroughly, and then polished them with a fresh micro-cloth. The sharpness, clarity and mild color-flecking of the crystal under halogen lighting is as classy as it gets. Highly recommended. I would give these a 100% positive rating, they're THAT nice. Recommendation to the seller, Maketh The Man: PLEASE! restock the matching decanter. I will gladly pay you handsomely for the decanter and another set of glasses.
