These are sold in sheets for a reason, they stay on great and come off depending on pets activity. There is no sticky residue left on paw, my preference for sure. My boy walks with more confidence and doesn't throw his hips out of whack causing a more expensive medical issue. I love these and my boy lets me put them on his feet (only rear paws) and that is a plus. With the Loobani Dog Paw Protector Traction my boy now gets more exercise in turn, giving us more time with him. Yay! Thank you!

I have a 16yr old PomChi. She has spinal stenosis. So her back legs slip on smooth surfaces. It breaks my heart. She will wear booties but they are more cumbersome than I want for inside. Found these on a fluke. Purchased the smalls. She has done amazing with them!!! I can’t emphasis that enough. The only drawback if the grass or ground is damp or wet when she goes out. The pads will eventually fall off when they get wet. But at this point I am willing to put a new pair on daily knowing she can now safely walk on our hard wood floors. She knows when I pull out a new set of pads. She only wears the pads on her back feet. Her front end has no issues. If you are a loving fur parent and have a senior dog that is slipping...but these! You won’t regret it! The pad in the picture is nearly a week old and needs to be changed.

These pads have really helped my dog! I expected her to immediately want to chew them off, but she just sniffed them then ignored them. However, after she realized what they did she was really happy to position herself so we could easily get at her feet and put them on. She loves them! They stay on her about 5 days (since she is currently very disabled). We put them on her when we need to take her places which have slippery floors, like the vet's office, and she doesn't slip and re-injure her pulled tendons. I didn't find them until the weather had culled down for winter, so I don't know if they would stay on if her paws became sweaty. I do know, however, that they stay on fine in the mud/rain if her feet were clean and very dry when the pads went on in the first place.

After hip surgery our old doggy would not leave the rug, she was afraid to walk on our slick wood floors. After a couple weeks we knew we had to find something. Today is her first day using these little gadgets. She is already moving around the entire house with confidence because of the extra traction.

My LabX, about 60lbs, has hip displasia. We are changing our floors to laminate. Spud had surgery on the worst hip in which the ball of the joint is removed. He recovered well, but since we began changing the flooring he has taken some bad spills, twisting his legs and hurting his dignity. I could tell he was considering becoming a really old dog. We ordered the XL, which are actually a bit small. I expected him to really resist having these applied as he is very protective of his back legs, but he complained only a little and never looked back. We thought he would try to take them off, so we immediately put him on the laminate floor and when he took a few steps he realized he had traction! He is a happy boy once again. We leave the pads on until they wear off. He uses them outside on the slick patio cement and all around the large yard, so about a week is the limit. We only use them on the hind feet. Worth every penny to see him more confident and playful. He's even nicer to our other dog.

Our dog has hip dysplasia and back issues so he is very unsteady on his back legs. I cut pieces out and put them on each individual pad of each foot this worked very well. He has been wearing them for almost a week and I imagine he will have this set on for at least two more weeks if not more. It's Great for the senior dogs that aren't too active and only take tiny slow walks. you can tell he is much happier now that he has some traction. Before he would slip and slide all over the floors and did not really want to move around much. He is moving around more and is much more confident.

My 17-year-old dachshund, Mongsoon, suddenly developed the slip'n'slides a few months ago on the tile and the back porch. It was terrible when she started to fall and couldn't get back up, and in the back of my mind, I wondered if it was the end. She started sleeping more, and wouldn't even try to get up if she fell. She couldn't get out the doggie door to go to the bathroom anymore, and I don't have to tell you what a pain in the backside that is. I tried dog shoes, dog socks, but they just came off her feet. We were setting timers and taking her out every 90 minutes, and it couldn't go on. I bought these in spite of the reviews, and didn't hope for much. But you know what? I put them on her feet, and she didn't slip. Actually, I don't think she could believe it. She tried them out gingerly at first, but then got really excited. In the first day she had them on I think she walked a mile in the house, checking out every corner again. She followed the chihuahua out the dog door and checked out the backyard again, running from edge to edge of the porch. Other reviewers are right that these are not for outside wear, and they aren't very durable. I try to get three days' wear out of one set, and on the last day we go for a walk outside or I give her a bath. So it's going to cost about $20/month. But these pads have literally saved my dog's life, and it's a price I will gladly pay for Mong to have the freedom to walk again.

After only a couple of days, our older dog is walking so much more confidently on our hardwoods floors, and she rarely slips. She pays no attention to the paw protectors on her pads. I highly recommend these!

My 16 year old chihuahua has been losing strength in his back legs and our house is all oak hardwood floors. He was wobbling slipping and falling and it got to the point where he couldn't get back up or stand to relieve himself. It was serious, like maybe it's his time serious. I decided to give these things a shot and ordered them. They came in crazy fast...they somehow showed up on a Sunday. I put them on his back feet and he doesn't mess with them...It's like he gets it. He's been walking(more like staggering) non stop. (which has it's own challlenges because he's blind). He's still been having a few falls here and there because he has poor balance but he can stand so much better. They grip the floor very well. I don't know how much more time we have with our dog but these have given us a little more.
