1st blocking set I have used and it seems to made well. Blocked a baby blanket and it worked great

Apart from her knitting projects she also uses it to dry some of my wool sweaters - pretty cool! I must say though

My girlfriend gotta new hobby and I got this as a random gift for her. Surprisingly she is spending way more time with this then I thought she would! Apart from her knitting projects she also uses it to dry some of my wool sweaters - pretty cool! I must say though, that initially there was some smell from the blocks but we got rid of it easily by a quick soak in warm water, soap and vinegar. All in all, very happy with the purchase!

Excellent product

This is my second set of Craftolino blocking mats - I have a large shawl in progress that won't fit on one set. These mats are high quality and fit together easily and securely. Because they are white, there is no possibly of their transferring color to my wet knitting. They can be put together in different ways to fit awkward projects; the photo attached shows one non-standard possibility They did have a faint odor when I received them. I left them open to the air for a few days and that took care of it.

These are so easy to use. They come with pins to tack down your pieces. I wish that there were more than nine in a case. I have to buy more of these.

Great purchase

Product arrived on time and was neatly packaged in a transparent bag, comes in very handy for storing under my bed. I use the product to keep my sweaters from shrinking after washing. It's quick & easy to assemble and the foam is thick enough to not let any water come through. I think the instructions that came with the set are easy to follow. The lines align nicely so my sweaters are perfect after drying. Would recommend the product!

Great quality, flexible

Sent this to my daughter, who has started knitting - evidently, knitting has become kind of cool again, and she says quite a few of her friends are starting to knit as well - who knew? Anyway, she loved this product - very durable, well-constructed. I honestly can't speak to much more than her enthusiasm and overall impression - I personally can barely cook, much less pull together enough creative juice to make a sweater! But she loves the fact that it comes in an easy container to move around, and that the mats are very configurable so there are many options for her, and she loved the overall quality. Since another reviewer had mentioned odor, I asked her about it, and she had not noticed any. However, in my experience with different products of this type of material, sometimes there is an odor, like with many yoga mats I have purchased. There are plenty of conversations about removing odor from yoga mats, such as a quick wipe with a solution of water and apple cider vinegar, then let dry.

Very pleased with this product

I was impressed by the great quality of this product. It is really easy to assemble the mats, and the pattern lines up perfectly. The 1 inch spaced pattern helps a lot in the knitting process, and the pins don’t move, thanks to the extra thickness. The transparent bag is a nice addition to carry around the mats or to store them. Overall, I feel that these knitting mats are great for any knitting projects and I would absolutely recommend them!

Great Product for Knitting

I wish I knew about this product years ago. I "made do" with my towels, but using the blocking mats now, it is a day and night difference. Because the blocks can be arranged in any configuration it is helping me with projects of various sizes and shapes. I specifically bought them for a lace sweater I am currently knitting. The thickness is very helpful as the pins do not move once placed into the mats This makes for easy knitting but also drying of the fabric. The mats are all easy to store in a PVC bag that can be carried around easily with its handles.

The mats lock together beautifully

What a difference it makes to have mats of this thickness! I just blocked a shawl as a gift for my sister. The shawl was really wide but the mats lock together beautifully as the correct grid alignment is ordered. The thicker surface really lets the pins stick into them and they did not move. The other side of the mats is rugged so they do not slide on your table. I think eventually I am going to want a 2nd set so I can do bigger projects but I am very happy with these. I'm glad I splurged for the extra thickness, it was really worth it.

Worth the price

So far, these blocking squares are very nice. I’ve blocked a few small things and I’ve been very satisfied with the ease of use. I’m about to block a larger item, a scarf, and see no reason that I’ll have any problems. I may have to buy some more for my larger projects!
