Great Sewing Machine Light

This is a wonderful light!!! I added it to my portable sewing machine that I took to a quilting class today. It really did provide so much more light than my actual sewing machine light. I also had several ladies interested in where I purchased the light. I will certainly share how well this light works.

I was a little hesitant ordering from a company I had never heard of, but the price and other reviews made it hard to resist. The package arrived when promised and was in perfect condition. I was excited to try it out on me sewiwgmachine. It fit perfectly! I didn't have to trim any of the strip off, it was a perfect length for the throat of my machine (a Bernina). The sticky on the back is great, I repositioned a few times and it held excellent. I did turn on the lights and let the strip warm before I applied it, I have been working with craft type things long enough to know you should always do that. I love this light! It's nice and bright, its a great length, the plug in cord could be a little longer, but is no problem for me. I have ordered 5 different LED light strips for my 5 different sewing machines and this one is the nicest BY FAR. Super easy install and plenty of clips (5) to route the cord. Nice and bright and easy touch on/off. Also love the USB option. Would buy this again without hesitation and $10.00 cheaper than my other LED strips. Thanks Wenice....great product !

Light & Bright

This was purchased for my wife's sewing machine - she is extremely happy with the results. Unit is very light, easy to position, and can be set at multiple brightness levels. With the lights positioned less than one foot from the machine foot - visibility and brightness are where they're needed. Image shows one of the brighter settings.

Very Bright! Works great on my Juki TL-18

I bought this to enhance the "lighting" of my Juki TL-18. It is amazing! I first "blue painters taped" it to where I thought I wanted it and left it for a few weeks to see if it needed placement adjusting. It didn't. I then peeled off the light-strip red backing and pressed it into place. I had originally thought that the included 3M mini clips were for the light itself, but it's actually for the extended cord. I LOVE it. Bought a second one for my Babylock Elegante 3 and waiting for delivery on that one. It is VERY well made.

I couldn’t be happier with this light. It was easy to attach to my machine. Simply remove the plastic strip from the adhesive and press down. Fits the area of the harp perfectly. There were 5 small clips included for attaching the cord to my machine but only needed 3. The dimmer works perfectly. Just hold down on the switch and the amount of light decreases or increases. A bonus is that it’s white, so it matches my machine, making it look like it’s supposed to be there, instead of being a distraction like a black one would be. Buy one!

Good bright lights

My sewing machine has lights but they aren't as bright as I need and I put a lamp and it doesn't illuminate the place I need. This does the trick and the lights are bright. Very bright and clear.

Love this! It solves all my problems for lighting on my older sewing machine. I normally can only sew for certain times a day, but this is great for lighting with no shadows.... LED lights give a good bright even light. It fits right onto my machine and the enclosed stick on clips keeps the cord sturdy and secure .... touchlight off/on switch is easy to just slide finger across.... no fumbling or hassle. I love this bright clear lighting strip. Easy to understand the marking showing where to cut to adjust to machine, fits wide harp or small harp. Backing sticks very tightly and it can be pushed and molded into the contours for clean lines and fit. I’m a very satisfied customer. Well packaged and arrived very quickly.

so far so good! This product was received quickly and easy to install. I have it on a Juki TL 2010Q and it's great.. goes all the way from the throat down and around the needle area. I brought the cord around the back of the machine and have the switch for the light near the switch for the machine. Sometimes I forget it's there, and will accidentally touch the switch for the light while reaching for the machine switch and WOW.. .bright light!! bright light!!! It makes free motion quilting so much easier as I can see the thread even when it's a similar color to the fabric.

Fantastic light for free-motion quilting!

This light strip for sewing machines makes all the difference in being able to see my free-motion quilting. I have two lamps and an overhead light, in addition to the LED lights on my sewing machine, but I still couldn't really see for the fine detail work in quilting. This light strip is long enough to go across the length of my machine, down the side and have a couple of the lights go underneath the arm to illuminate the needle area. The adhesive is strong and sticks to the machine very well. You can even dim the lights if you want.My only regret is that I didn't get this a long time ago.
