This Ironing Board Cover is exactly as was described. My indestructible board is over 30 years old, made of steel with chrome legs. And most likely manufactured in the USA. Covers sold at the big box stores were too small and thin. This cover fits perfectly and what a great design idea to include velcro straps. I certainly appreciate all the parameters considered to perfect this cover.

Just like my mom's

I've been searching for an ironing board cover that really fits for over a year. This one is perfect. It reminds me of the covers my mother and grandmother made themselves from unbleached muslim fabric way back. It is plenty large enough to cover the board so well without struggling, the very adequate padding is adhered to the cover, very good elastic with adjustable ties really work well. It was very wrinkled of course but I put my iron on Linen setting with some steam and ironed all the wrinkles out so it's perfectly smooth. I couldn't ask for a better cover.

High quality product

This was exactly what I had hoped for- a high quality cover of durable material, excellent fit with a nice thick pad, and a decent price. The built in wool pad is not only convenient- no separate pad to slide around - it works so much better than the usual synthetic material pads. It was also not any more expensive than many of the other pads sold in local shops, but of much higher quality and construction. It may not have a fancy printed pattern, or be in the designer color of the season- but an ironing board cover is about function and durability, not a fashion show. That also means no dye to fade or leach into clothing during ironing. I plan to buy a second one, because I am so impressed with the one I have now.

Excellent ironing board cover. One suggestion for the seller and other buyers: Make sure the ends of the elastic both point the same way through the cord lock and are securely knotted on the other side. On mine the ends went in opposite directions and were loosely knotted. They refused to let me adjust the cover on the board until I untied them. Then when I adjusted the cover, holding the ends in my fingers, one end snapped back out of the cord lock and shot 2 feet down into the drawstring tunnel. Aargh! It took me 10 minutes to work it back out again. That aside, the cover is wonderful!!! It fits perfectly (15 x 54) and I like the natural fabrics, cotton cover and wool backing. In the past I bought "oversized" covers and they wouldn't fit, so I quit trying to find replacements and my old cover was frayed away to nothing in places. Then I found this one. This cover actually makes ironing easier and the results look better! Highly recommend.

Excellent Product

My order was processed quickly and I received the ironing board cover promptly. I could not have been more pleased with the quality of the cotton fabric and thick pad. In addition, I have a very old and large board and have had difficulty finding covers that fit properly. Given the perfect fit and excellent quality, I’ve finally found the company I can highly recommend to others. Great product and great customer service

I really like this cover. I always try to go with chemical free as much as possible, especially when an item has to be heated. I like that it has a wool pad instead of some kind of foam. Again, no chemicals! I have had the cover on for a few days now and used it repeatedly. I am completely satisfied. I received a request for feedback and mentioned that the only complaint I have is that it was barely wide enough for my board. I felt that some of that was my fault since I do keep an extra pad on my board. They responded quickly and gave me great feedback! I would certainly recommend this cover and when I need a new one, I hope to be able to get this one again.

Quality product worth the price

I love this cover. Yes, it is more expensive than other covers, but the quality is SO worth it. I have never come across a better-made cover, so, for me, the price is absolutely worth it. I am a home sewist, so my ironing board is very important to the success of my projects, and I need a quality cover that will stand up to a lot of use. If the adage that "you get what you pay for" is true, then you should do yourself a favor and invest in a quality product from the beginning. You'll be much happier with the way the product works, and you won't spend more money replacing an inferior product that wears out more easily. I am also so impressed with the customer service from this company. I originally ordered a cover that was too big for my board, but I called the company, and the gentleman who answered was so friendly and helpful. He sent me a new cover along with the shipping label and envelope to send back the original cover at no charge to me. While I don't anticipate having to reorder a cover for a very long time, I hope this review convinces you to support this company and give them your business. You will not be sorry.

WORTH EVERY PENNY!

Amazing ironing board cover!!!! Would give it ten stars if I could! I never write reviews, but this cover so exceeded my expectations for what an ironing board cover could and should be that I just had to write. I collect 19th century wooden ironing boards and this cover was a match made in heaven. It’s so well made, with attention to detail including wool pad and natural, chemical free cover. Lovely family owned business. Made in Italy. I couldn’t be happier! Highly recommend.

The Best Ironing Board Cover

I have a European ironing board that needed a new cover and pad and found most stock covers are too short and too narrow. This is PERFECT! The pad is attached to the cover and is wool. The cover has elastic as well as a bunny cord at the tip to adjust for size as well as velcro straps to make a tight fight. I would highly recommend this cover especially if you have an ironing board that is not the conventional size. Great product and workmanship.
