This is what my loaves look like once done and I love it! I'm hooked!

This machine is easy to use and so far, everything I've made has come out great! I've been making bread almost everyday since it arrived. The only thing I find annoying is that the little display panel is very small and hard for me to read without my readers and extra lighting. But, that's a small price to pay for nice yummy warm bread. I have successfully used the recipes that came with it, as well as recipes I found online that were meant for a different brand of machine.

This is my first bread machine purchase and I am very very happy with it. I did some research before buying and agree with many of the reviews for this machine. I've only used once so far but was very pleased with how easy it was to use. I would highly recommend.

I have baked bread most of my life. This is the third breadmaker I have owned, and I like it the best (other brands were B****M*n and the Z*****I). The SKG is my favorite, and consistently makes great bread. The bucket cleans up easily, and I like that the lid is removable for easier clean up should your bread ever touch the lid. It stays in place on the counter and doesn't jump around while kneading. The display is clear and concise, but you may knead your reading glasses if you are challenged that way. The manual has great basic recipes that coincide with the settings, and from these proportions you can easily adapt your favorite recipes. The SKG is a great deal, and you will love always having fresh bread.

What fun the breadmaking process is with this machine! They give you all of the recipes and instructional advice that you could need, to include adapting any recipes that you used before you got this. It is very sturdy and easy to clean, and the internal machinery prep process matches exactly the time table published in the instructional manual, so you know when to add nuts, raisins, etc, and exactly when the loaf will be ready. As a rookie breadmaker, I was a little timid about beginning the process, but this product removed my trepidations quickly. Easy to use, to clean, and the finished product that you get from it makes a commercial bakery's bread look and taste more like a medieval product! This is a 1st class machine and the bread is absolutely delicious; my favs are the whole wheat and the oatmeal breads. I truly enjoy and like this machine!

I really like this bread maker. My problem is I do not use American Hard Winter Wheat....I use Italian Soft Spring Wheat from Antimo Caputo which is a 00 flour (pastry flour) so that is what I'm using to make bread. Having some issues with not getting a 2# loaf. I know it's the flour but I cannot eat american wheat products without super digestive issues and with the Italian flour who do not use Roundup on their wheat crops. I do everything in grams as it's more accurate than using the supremely small basically unusable measuring tool that came with product. Am doing some math to figure out just how much Italian 00 flour I need to use to get a 2# loaf from the bread maker. Wish me luck. Did try to make yogurt in the bread maker but all the milk leaked out during processing and have asked SKG for help with that. Would like to have been able to make yogurt using the yogurt cycle on the bread maker so was sorely disappointed when I had a counter swimming in milk that had leaked out. Waiting for a response from SKG on that glitch. Otherwise, love it and have always used the delayed cycle so we can awaken to the smell of fresh bread that has baked whilst we sleep.

I replaced my new 1 month old bread maker with this SKG machine as I believe the temp setting on the other brand was totally wrong. I am not new to bread baking but this really stumped me. I tried everything, thinking I was doing something wrong. After many attempts and a lot of frustration I said the heck with it and ordered the SKG bread machine. The first loaf of bread was picture perfect as were the next 3 batches. I'm hoping the SKG holds up as my grandchildren love this bread.

UPDATE - I've now had the bread machine two months and have made 60+ breads. I love that it works so well on one-pound loaves; I often make two recipes a day. I'd give this machine six stars, if I could. If you try it, I'll bet you love it. I've been using bread machines for 20+ years. I typically buy top-of-the-line devices from Williams-Sonoma or Zojirushi, but after spending $300 on a Zojirushi that lasted less than three years/300 loafs, I went the low-cost route and I love this machine. Now, in all fairness, I've only had it a week. But I've made five breads (4 1# loaves and 1 1.5#), and all have been wonderful. This machine has a two-year warranty. If it last that long, I'll be totally pleased.

Very satisfied with the bread machine. It is so easy to operate, even my 2.5 year old son can help me to get the bread done. I weight all the ingredients and he poured them in the bread pan and started the program according to my directions. We first tried the program 2 and medium crust color for a one pound quick bread. Instead of milk powder and water, we used same amount of 2% milk. The bread tasted fairly good, but it is over browned. Today, we took another try. We added extra go&grow powder and dried blueberries in and chose the crust color as light. See what we got, so happy. And my son finished one piece and kept saying yummy yummy..

This is the best and easiest bread maker I’ve ever owned. I waited several months of using this bread maker before writing this review. But it’s used every third day since a 2 pound loaf only lasts that long before every slice has been eaten. Put in the ingredients in the specified order, plug in the machine, set the kind of bread using menu, 1, 1.5, or 2 pounds, crust light medium or dark and press start. That’s it. A few hours later warm, fresh bread with no preservatives yummy. Highly recommended.
