Great tool for the DIY

very easy to use, instructions are clear. Comes with everything you need to get started. Tool appears to be well made and made of heavy gauge steel. I performed one or two practice crimps and cuts and it was so easy. Well worth the money and a lot cheaper than the home improve stores.

good tool to have for small plumbing projects

Solid tool for occasional use

I am very pleased with the build of this tool. Seems very solid and comes with the cutter in the kit. Everything stores well in the case. I used to finish a basement bathroom and home brewery and had zero problems. Plenty of torque to crimp the fittings well without destroying your forearms. I’m not sure if this would be good for everyday use, but if you crimp fittings everyday you should invest in a powered one anyways. I used shark bite rings on the pex and did not have one bad crimp. I would definitely recommend this.

Great kit, no problems.

I bought this kit to terminate a lot of 1", 3/4", and 1/2" PEX. I had absolutely no issues. I got the "long" handle version, because I was concerned with leverage, but I suspect the short handle version would be fine, since there's virtually no effort needed on the long handle model. The tool seems very robust. I also had no issues with the ring remover, PEX cutter, and the go/no-go gauge. Definitely worth the money, and would buy again as well as recommend.

Great choice. You can use this device to crimp all the different PEX sizes. Easy to snap one size out and another in. Only drawback is that it doesn’t work well in confined spaces. If you’re working in open areas, then his tool works well.

Great tool, case needs work

Very useful tool, and makes surprisingly good crimps! Don't install PEX pipe without it! Only major complaint is the case. Every time I open this, the different jaw sizes have rolled around everywhere, which is more an annoying frustration than an actual problem. Otherwise, every crimp this thing has made has been great. Make sure you strengthen those pectoral muscles before using! Metal crimp rings take some strength!

Make sure it handles your fittings before you purchase!

Good product, great idea, did not fit my PEX fittings. I did not realize there are eleventy-odd fitting types out there and that this tool (which advertises to work with many styles) would not work with the "Viego" style that I have throughout my house. Fortunately, Amazon was great about processing the return. Nothing lost but time.

So far this has been an excellent product. The ones home Depot sells were much harder to get to crimp and didn't come with all the xtras . I found this one to be a much better quality and for what you get , much cheaper I'm price .
