Very convenient!

I bought this to carry particularly to have when I come home at night. I have to walk to back of building and up stairs to get to my condo... I love it. The on switch is easy to get to and in the event I would need to use it, you just squeeze and it goes off. My biggest selling point is how it wraps around fingers and fits in your hand... it can't be knocked out of hand or taken away. I definitely recommend... especially for the ladies!

Tried it on myself!

I had my girlfriend punch me with it to see if it actually worked. First off, the noise it makes is very intimidating. It sounds exactly like normal stun gun that you would see law enforcement carry. But as far as if it works, it definitely stings quite a bit. It won't drop someone like a normal taser might, but it would definitely deter someone from coming close to you again. Pretty comfortable in your hand and the flashlight is a nice bonus. Overall, I think its worth the price.

Good product. Very ergonomic and easy to conceal/use. Pretty well made ... considering the very attractive price. Customer Service is top notch: I received the item and the LED light did not go ON when item was plugged in for recharge. CS department apologized and sent me a new one immediately ... and told me to keep the other one.

Great stun gun for the money!

This is a great stun gun for the money. The design is very clever, as it allows you to hold the stun gun like "brass knuckles", making it unlikely that an attacker would be able to take it from you. In addition, the "crackle" that it makes when you activate the voltage sounds very intimidating, even more so than some larger, more expensive units that I tried out. This is good because it would be better to scare off a would-be attacker than to have to actually "zap" them at close quarters. And finally, I can assure you, this thing hurts when you get zapped by it as I tried it on myself. Good lord, it hurt like %%$$##!!! Your attacker will feel serious pain if you get them with this, rest assured! :)

A great option to bring on dog walks

I have seen an uptick in stories on the news about women getting attacked at night - running, walking dogs, traveling etc., so I decided to look into something that would help me stay safe. I have dogs and they have to be walked at night and I realized that I was completely vulnerable when I am out with them. We can conceal carry in VA, but I am not sure I am ready to take that step yet - I am a bit clumsy. This is a great alternative. It isn't heavy and it also has a little flashlight on it. I tested it, but I haven't had to use it yet so I can't say how helpful it will be. The sound alone of the shock was enough to scare me! :) I put it in the pocket of my coat, but you can also just keep it in your hand. You have to actually flip the button on the side to make it active which was a relief to me because I was scared it would go off in my pocket and zap me. It is easy to use and I am really glad I bought it.

Everyone asks to see it when I tell them about it

This is great, I've had several different tasers in the past and they've all had the same problem. How do you hold it/store it/carry it and still be able to get to it quickly short of outright holding it? I take it on my walks and hikes with my dogs for 2 and 4 legged threats. So far I've never had to actually hit someone or thing with it but discharging it in the air has scared off multiple off leash digs on several occassions. It frees up my hands so I can still use both but its always right there for me to use without having to dig it out of a bag or out of a pocket. I highly recomend it!

Great self defense product!

Small, compact, fits in the palm of your hand. Easy to use/activate. I keep mine in my pocket and if I feel cautious I'll put my hand in my pocket with it. And very powerful shock!
