I have a 15 pound min schnauzer it was perfect for him. He like to curl up it was perfect before the flight about a week ahead I would put him in there to get use to it. I also had two lil stuff toys and a collapsible bowl and food Leash in side pocket. Plenty of room

Waaaay cool

Excellent design and way cheaper than others that I’ve seen as high as $40 on Amazon. There are zippers and entries all over the place. The fleece walls are zippered in place. To access them you have to open a zipper on the mesh side and search until you find the zipper pull hidden in the corner. This would be a pain especially while traveling. For the sides I might try some adhesive hook-and-loop so that the walls will remain up and drop down quickly with the mesh “room.” The center floor pad cover has a zipper so that’s easy to wash. I’m going to make a cotton pillowcase for summer. Washing the fleece walls would be a challenge that I haven’t worked out yet. Would be awkward. I’ll work on cotton sheets that I’ll attach with either snaps or squares of hook-and-loop. Their photo shows the mesh door open. I found the top becomes floppy and would probably need a couple of props (cut dowels perhaps?) if you wanted the pet to go in and out at will. I’m also going to work on a bandana or other fabric sunshade. With both sides down pets would need somewhere to get out of full sun. I might get really creative and use ripstop nylon (or waterproof nylon gear from an old umbrella) to keep out wind and a sudden shower if they are outside sunning themselves. There’s a fairly long grosgrain strap inside so you can keep pet tethered. Especially useful to prevent quick escape artists. The metal clip is a bit hard for me. I will replace it with something easier. The side sleeve that I imagine is what they say to use for running the seatbelt through is perfect for sliding over the handles of a carryon case. The rear wall with the flat pocket (wish it was bulging) also has a zippered door. The pocket holds the shoulder strap plus quite a few things. A flat leash, wee wee pad, some dry food/treats in ziplocks and probably one or two collapsible silicone bowls. Water would have to be carried separately or (light bulb!) in a flat whisky flask. A small ditty or zippered bag to hold more supplies could be clipped onto the metal shoulder strap holder.

My Bengal Kitten Loves It! It's Perfect!

Ordered this carrier after returning the one I order from Amazon Basics. I am sooooo much happier with this carrier and for the price it has exceeded my expectations. I love that it has 2 end entrances, a top entrance, and a side, entrance. We have found ourselves leaving the side door open with it sitting in the living room and my bengal kitten loves to lay in it and use it as a bed. My kitten is 6 months old, and will be going on a number of road trips so I wanted something that was big enough for him to grow into as well as have enough room for him to be comfortable. This carrier hit all of my requirements, and I think looks really stylish, and duffel bag like, which I really love.

Great Deal!

I love this pet carrier! It's sturdy and well made and holds my big 15lb boy easily. There are several windows to allow air flow and to let my cat see me. This is cheaper than many other carriers but only in price.

Kitten liked it fine!

I ordered this to transport my new kitten home from the shelter. It is plenty big and easy to carry, either with the handle or shoulder strap, and it can be opened in multiple places to make it easier to get reluctant pets out of it.

This is a good cat carrier. Our cat recently flew under the seat from Atlanta, GA to Hollywood, CA and did great. After a couple weeks in CA, she has started hanging out in the closet in the carrier. See photo attached. Isn’t she adorable? This means she like the carrier, and that’s the best endorsement you could get!

Seriously perfect. 12lb cat fits comfortably.

This thing changed my whole perception of cat carriers. It’s very well made and has kept my escape artist of a cat safe inside. I love the mesh vs traditional holes in hard plastic carriers because it looks so much better to hoomans and doesn’t freak my cat out as much. There’s a padded fleece covered pad at the bottom so you don’t have to deal with towels that get all bunched up. It’s collapsible for easy storage. Also, I’m a guy and this is a stylish gender neutral carrier that looks much classier than traditional plastic carriers...and half the price of the ugly plastic ones at Walmart. Looks just like the pics and fit my 12lb cat perfectly. Definitely recommend!

Check with airlines before you buy! It doesnt conform to most airline height requirements.

5 stars because I love it and it folds up nicely. It is very sturdy and has an extremely good, comfortable, very nice quality removable padded mat floor. However, you have to check with the exact airline you are traveling. Most airlines won't except it because their policy is only 8.5 or 9" high. It is 11". Apparently different aircraft have different under seat clearances. I understand only United airlines allow higher carry ons depending on the aircraft. YOU BETTER FIND OUT 1st and know what type of craft you're flying on. Maybe their seats have lower clearance. Also,Maybe I should have given 4 stars because the carry straps are thin and cheap and there is no velcro padded handle to lock the straps together and carry it with. Foolish decision. Carcinogenic Chemicals used in making this are not allowed in CA .

Great carrier at such a great price!

I ordered 2 brown with blue trim carriers and the color is more of like a grey brown which looks really nice and very much like the picture in the item description. I ordered these for my medium sized cats and both fit comfortably with plenty of room to lay on their side and not be all smooshed. I was extremely surprised at how nice the carriers were! It's very lightweight with plenty of double zippered entrances/exits to make it easier to put your pet inside. Strong padded straps, an interior carrier strap to connect a collar, a removable and washable pillow and easily collapses to less than 2 inches high making it great to store just about anywhere. One thing I do hope the manufacturer considers in the future is making a pouch/bag to store it in to help protect and keep all the loose parts in one place when collapsed and not in use. I'm going to keep it in the plastic bags from the packaging but a matching cover would have been so awesome. My only recommendation for buyers is that you let the carriers sit and air out a little before putting your pet inside as they do have that new car/new luggage type smell which might bother an animal zipped up inside. It's not bad or horrible by any means but animals are more sensitive to smells than humans. =D Overall this was one of favorite randomly awesome finds on Amazon. I had been looking at online pet stores and took a chance and found these here for a such great price and value. 4 paws up.
