If you are taking the time to buy a Tourniquet than you realize how important they are. It's often over stated "don't buy cheap amazon tourniquets as they are junk". I picked this gem up with the sole intentions for training. I carry it with me at work and swap it out at down times to practice applying it in different scenarios. The quality certainly isn't as high as other pricey manufacturers however I must say that I personally am impressed with it preformance compared to its price. Its similar in nature to the CAT gen 7s that I carry at work. So muscle memory will be the same. I have used and abused this this thing over and over for practice and it has held up wonderful. I cant say that I would buy this as my main tourniquet for real life applications but if it was all you had I really think it would work just fine. If you train hard and care about you and your buddies life, this has a definite place in your tool box for a very inexpensive price.

Tried out

I tried this out just temporarily to see if its going to work. It will. I've been trained through 25 years of service in the Army. I can tell you it is better to have this when you need it than not. Always go through the first aid steps for bleeding and wounds before using. Attach it above the wound or if near a joint then above the joint by 2" if possible to minimize damage or amputation. You only need to tighten it enough to stop the bleeding. If you need to depend on chinese confusing instructions then you are wrong. Practice using this item and first aid before you ever actually need to use this.

Great budget tourniquet.

For the money, these make a great set of spare tourniquets. I keep a few on hand in day packs or vehicles. Tested one of the three I received and it seemed to hold without any issues.

Good reliable tourniquet for emergencies

Love this make..only ones that I used due to how quickly you can pull it out and apply it to the patient.. compared to other makes.

If anyone is wondering before purchasing (I was) these are the new style CATs without the double eyelet clip.

Worth every penny, what’s your life worth?

This a perfect size. Can fit in your pocket when your out shooting or put it in your glove box. I plan on buying more.

Bought this for my go bag

Its perfect. We use the same ones in our Emergency Department. Thankfully I haven't had to use it yet, but it's nice to have in hand if its needed

Simulated use was easy.

Don’t know how affective it is and hope to never have use it, but simulating the use is very easy and it seems high quality.

Hope I never use it

People like to wait until they use a product before writing a review. I’m hoping, with this product, to never be one of them. Purchased two, one for work and one for my truck, in the even that $hit hits the fan and somebody is having the worst day of their life. I’m happy if I never use them. Quality looks the same as some far more expensive tourniquets on the market.
