Great product

Works good as a painter's easel. Painted on this multiple times, love the lightweight design and rubber no slip footing. Easy to adjust and carry.

Perfect for the price. I feel like easels don't have to be overly expensive. And this was like $20 I think. Still it works fantastic. I use it for setting up my easel and doing my art. It's great.

Took a little to set up

Doesn't come with great instructions but today, what really does. You are expected to turn on youtube...well that's good if you aren't outdoors to use. It's sturdy and I will continue to use it and can't beat the price. Had first bought another brand and it came and was broken and didn't have time to wait for return so ordered this one and was much happier. Comes in a handy carry bag which is a plus...

Exactly what was needed

I had an easel that I had used for a long time, it finally broke. So I did some looking and found this little gem. Once I figured out how to get it together, I've absolutely loved it. Mine didn't come with instructions, so it took a little brain power to get it together.

Light weight & foldable

The installation is pretty straight-forward. The height is adjustable. The maximum height is a good one if I stand to draw (I'm 5'6”). Compared to traditional wooden ones, this one is lighter and definitely more compact when folded. It comes in with a carrying bag, which makes it easier for on the go. Three legs can be adjusted separately. I on purpose made the rear leg shorter, to achieve an ideal angel enjoying the artwork on display.

Exactly what I was looking for

I teach English online and the wall behind me is a little too far away. So I wanted an Easel that I could have next to me so my student rewards would be easily seen by my online students. I use it for my magnetic white board. I put a little velcro on the board and easel so I don't have to worry about white board falling, but that is not likely to happen. This easel is perfect for my purposes. Not flimsy at all. Easily put together. I wouldn't say it would hold a heavy painting, but it is great for what I needed it for.

Great easel for the indoor use

I needed an easel to display a framed picture. I saw the mixed reviews here but figured I'd give it a shot because the price was right and the easel looked versatile. I am pleased to say the easel works great. Pros - Comes with a carrying case - When collapsed and packed it's light and small and easily stored - Tool-free operation, everything is controlled by thumb locks that are easy to use - Adjustable for several heights. The three legs are made of three collapsing sections, each locked by the aforementioned thumb locks. The top vertical bar is also operated with a lock and can extend another foot or two high, and it has an adjustable spring loaded clip at the very tip to help grip the top of the frame or pad that you're displaying. There is tray bar where your displayed object rests on, and it can be clipped on to various points on the front two easel legs. It doesn't use a clip to secure it though, and is held in place by gravity - Reasonably priced, compared to what I've seen in crafts stores Cons - Probably not the best choice for super large and heavy items. The tray is thin metal and not very deep, so a heavy item could bend it and an item with a bottom edge thicker than two inches would not fit in the tray. But for most everyday uses (an easel pad, framed picture/poster, foam board, or thin wood board) this is great. - Also not the best choice for inclement conditions where the easel and its display item would be subject to collisions or strong wind. It's a light easel and is great for indoor use but I would want something sturdier and heavier for outdoor use Overall I'm really happy with this easel. It took a second to figure out all the locks and clips, and placing the tray is a little tricky the first time you do it. But once you've figured it out, operating this is easy and the light weight and the included case make for great portability.
