Honestly, these are nothing short of amazing !!! I watched several reviews on YouTube, and I saw a lot of positive reviews, and a couple negative here and there- some people say they’re great, a cheaper alternative to prismas and fabercastell, and I can tell you, yes ! They’re really amazing ! Now, my complete thoughts for serious Artists to hobbyists. They are wax based, so they can’t build as much as oil based pencils like polychromos, but they blended so smoothly, and have the perfect pigmentation so waxbloom isn’t a real issue at all- I compared the about of wax bloom with my prismas (also wax based) and no where near the amount of wax pile up, if any. Also because they build and blend so well together, you may not even need to use a fixative or paint thinner to blend them- they practically blend themselves out! I created two pieces already, working on my third, and I love love love them! The bird I used paint thinner to blend and the owl I didn’t ! You almost don’t need any ! My only real negatives - they’re not as pigmented as prismas- the black pencil is a little less impressive as a black, so I’ll need to keep my prisma in that area- But they build well so if you want more control and don’t want a blast of color at once, these are great! Another thing is this pack of pencils (48 pack -and 72 pack) lack neutral shades- they’re mostly brights and vibrant, which is great but as a professional artist I appreciate as many nuetrals as possible - And as of right now Arteza doesn’t sale or pencils individually so you’ll have to buy the whole set again- no big deal - they’re amazing and worth the repurchase! I do hope though they sale them separate in the future so you can save some money - or not lol if you use pencils up fast. Anyway lol they’re amazing !

These are surprisingly good color pencils. I did not expect much, since I have been using Prismacolor for a long time. I own Prismacolor Premier (soft with heavy coloring) and Prismacolor Verithin (hard with thin coloring). These Arteze color pencils are closer to the Verithins in terms of strength and marks on the page. The pencils come sharpened, but I found it interesting that they were sharpened to a flat top rather than to a point. Either way, once they are fully sharpened, coloring is a breeze. My son liked them as well, and he noticed that they improved his coloring when compared to his generic color pencils. As a competitor to Prismacolor, they seem to hold their own compared to the Verithins. I would recommend these pencils to any aspiring artist, especially if this is the first time buying higher end pencils.

The colored pencils are pretty vibrant and creamy. They remind me of Prismacolors, but I do think Prismacolors are slightly better. There seems to be a higher color pay off. What really impressed me was Arteza's customer service. 1 of the pencil cores broke, and by the time I got a point that didn't break off, it was at half its size. They literally asked no questions and sent, not just the 1 pencil, but an entire new set! I really love and appreciate that they stand behind their products 100%. Highly recommend!

These pencils are WELL worth the money! They're a harder pencil, but they blend amazingly. I've found they work best on CreateSpace paper, and they won't leave those white spots behind! The books I feel they were made for were the Hannah Lynn books! OMG! I don't think I'll ever use another pencil in those books again. (Picture included does have White Acrylic Paint, Black Roller Ball Pen, and Black Acrylic Paint used in it. All pencil work though is with the Arteza 48 set!)

They might be cheaper in price, but they certainly aren't cheaper in quality. Great set! It's been over a decade since I used colored pencils as my main medium and I used to use a high-end expensive brand. I didn't have the funds for the expensive brand so I went with this Arteza set. I'm so completely happy with my purchase, I felt like I picked up where I left off 10+ years ago with my colorpencilmanship. I plan on buying more soon!

Five stars across the board for these pencils! Not only are the colors beautiful and well pigmented, the cores are very durable and thick. I decided to check these out to find a secondary pencil that would work well with Prismacolors but hold a point. These pencils well exceeded my expectations. Plus they have a very nice weight to them and feel great in your hand. I absolutely love how large the color names are printed on the pencil with the lightfast rating. These pencils look very classy and like a much higher end product than the price would suggest. I’m a very happy customer and will be buying the 72 set soon. The attached picture is a blend of Artezas and prismacolor, the Arteza is used everywhere on this coloring except for her skin.

Love these colored pencils! When I started coloring choosing colors was hard I started with prisms color 24,about a week later I decided I needed more colors, I'm ready to move on to the 72. Being new to coloring these pencils are great the colors are bright, they glide across the page. I have not had any problems with breaking. And these are just as good as the prismacolor!

These aren't great for travelling just because like with all colored pencils and such they go all over the place, and everyone knows what it is like to have a kid screaming because they can't find X color because it rolled under the seat, or it was eaten by the dog that is sitting in the back. We got this for our daughter, so she can color. They are good, the colors are strong and vibrant, and the pencils do not break easily. They do however get chewed easily. This is the 48 colors, and that is really good for that need to have multiple blues, so when certain ones have been chewed by aforementioned doggo, there is another color that is close.

They are amazing for newer artists they are so smooth and are easy to blend
