I use this mostly for my core work on my needle felted projects. I did use it for a collection of Bee Hives as well. Felts nicely, doesn't give me a headache to use and the amount you get for the price is outstanding

Fantastic quality and amount for the price. I love its feel, and am using it to spin thread. I havent tried to dye this batch yet but am really enjoying how durable it is. Only negative feedback is that it smells like sheep still! So buyers should keep this in mind if they are planning to use it for products or to resell as a finished item, it WILL need to be rinsed of the animal scent.

Bought this wool with a needle felting starter kit that had little bags of colored wool. I'm not an expert on wool, but it's soft and fluffy (but not silky) and has easy to felt crimp. This snowman was my very first felting attempt and it came together really quickly. The fibers are all parallel so I guess this is technically "combed top"? Super easy to work with, which made my clueless first attempt really rewarding. Being that I've never needle felted before I have no basis for comparison, but I had fun making my snowman.

This was just what I needed for my wall hanging!

This wool is just as described. Soft, long-stapled, fine, excellent for spinning. I would definitely purchase it again.

Very soft, easy to needle felt with.

I am using this to learn how to use my drop spindle and play around with dying a bit. Perfect, and a ton of product for a beginner!

I purchased this wool to blend with some bamboo & Alpaca fiber to spin into yarn. For wool, it was relatively soft & it was easy to draft. I have never used the Cheviot wool before but I'd use it again and probably will. The light cream color worked well with the bamboo & Alpaca to make a very pretty camo home spun yarn. I also used this with a royal blue bamboo fiber and when I got done it is very eye catching. 1 lb. goes a long way since I've used the Cheviot wool to spin a little over 1,000 yards of home spun and I have plenty more to use. If you need a large amount of wool fiber this is a very good deal.

I am new to needle felting and started with a basic kit of small amounts of many colors. I wanted to get a large amount of white wool so I could use it for basic forms of small animals Inam making. this is lovely wool, and a good price for the amount.

Great wool, good for felting. Clean, soft, and generous quantity for the price.
