I ordered this on 12/26, with an expected to arrive by date of 1/4. It shipped the next day, and it arrived on 12/28. Easy to unbox and simple instructions. I am very pleased and would recommend this item.

Excellent performance

This cooler maintains selected temperature and is virtually soundless (almost soundless when fan is running). It arrived quickly, was very well packaged, and was a snap to set up. Selected temperature of 53 was reached in a couple of hours (within a couple degrees) and was fully reached in about 24 hours. It holds 28 bottles as advertised including the slightly taller gewürztraminer bottles. It was up and running the morning of arrival and I was drinking perfectly cooled wine that evening. What else is needed (except maybe another one)?

I hope this isn’t too good to be true. Very quiet, easy to set up, looks good, maintains temperature. Just hope it lasts. If it does, it’s a steal at this price.

A great wine cooler for the price!

After many months of reading reviews and comparing models, I stumbled across this wine fridge (the 28 bottle black version) here on Amazon. The price seemed very low considering it held 28 bottles. Many other similar wine fridges were $100 more. Since the other reviews were positive, I decided to give it a shot. It arrived in perfect condition, well packaged. After unboxing, I opened the wine fridge and it has a rather strong plastic smell. I was a bit concerned, but I figured the smell would dissipate after running. I plugged it in, set it to 54 degrees, and about 18 hours later it was holding temperature perfectly. I was impressed! Now it was time to transfer my wine into it. The cooler does in fact hold Pinot Noir and Champagne bottles but they are VERY tight. The bottle will rub against the steel rack above. But it fits! I was pretty thrilled. So far, I’ve been impressed. All of my fears with not sustaining temps or being too tight for Pinot Noir bottles were curbed. I would highly recommend this fridge. Just be sure to clean the interior before using it to avoid plastic odors. In case you’re wondering: -It’s very quiet, but does have a fan that make a tiny bit of noise when it is cooling and turning on/off. I stored it in my bedroom and it doesn’t wake me up. So its VERY subtle. No louder than a whisper. -It does produce a small amount of heat. Again, nothing crazy and it doesn’t affect the internal functionality. But I noticed it as it’s in my bedroom.

Stylish and value

Great value. Compact design and fits all standard bottles. This looks very sleek chills the wine to temp. People have complained on loud it can be. I have not experienced that. It has some noise but I'm not using it as a pillow.

Function over fanciness - very pleased.

Having contracted oenophilia, I have exceeded the capacity of a nicer wine cooler near kitchen and wanted something to store wine in the basement. This has filled the ticket in spades. Love the quiet thermoelectric (aka heat pump) physics. Racks are certainly not luxe but adequate - in line with price of the unit. If it is intended to be the only wine cooler in a more visible location, I’d probably spring the little extra for the stainless steel model.

Just received my wine fridge! Well packaged, easy set up, attractive, and it fits all 28 bottles! Mostly burgundies, no problems. Very pleased!

Great design, good storage

Great size, good temperature control, good storage for variety of bottle sizes. The display light is extremely bright, which is the only thing I would change ( I put electrical tape over it, and that is working fine.) It looks classy and blends in with other furniture
