Better than the official refills.

I like these better than the official Litter Genie refills. They don't have that black tab that you have to pull off that the official refills have - so that's one less hassle to worry about. The bags seem to be similar quality, too and otherwise look the same. I just started using them, so if I have any issues, I will update this review.

These are easier for me to use than the real genie refills because they have an edge that helps keep them from falling through the genie when you install them. They work great!

They fit and work well

These work great and at a much better price. The bags are strong enough to hold the clumps and work well. There are reviews that say these don't fit the Litter Genie but they do fit. You have to put the circle side of the dispenser down when putting the refill in the pail. I'll definitely buy this the next time.

Yes, They're Round. Yes, They Work Fine.

Yes, these DO fit the Litter Genie Plus and they fit fine. Open the lid, pop open the square cover that hold the cartridge secure, remove the empty cartridge. Pull some of the plastic out and tie the end, pop the round ChoiceRefill cartridge and then snap the square cover back in place. That's it! I don't understand why some people are saying the ChoiceRefill cartridges don't fit the Litter Genie Plus because they fit fine. Maybe they're trying to place the refill in upside down? Regardless, for me they work just as well as the more expensive Litter Genie refills.

These are compatible with litter genie products, and they have a nifty sticker at the end of the bag that says "pull here" so that you don't have to sift through the edges to find it (which I haven't seen on name brand genie products). The bag is similar to genie products in dimension and thickness, and it's a great way to save some money.

Works great!

Yes, they are round. Yes, the Litter Genie is square. But if you actually look closely and follow the instructions, you'll see that there is a square top part of the bag holder that fits into the Litter Genie. If you can't figure this out, then you probably shouldn't be a pet owner. The bag itself seems just as strong as name brand. Other reviews have stated that the lid doesn't fit securely, but I have not had that problem. The lid closes properly, and the price is a lot cheaper than the official re-fills.

Fits my litter genie perfectly. My only suggestion for the ChoiceRefill company is that the end of the bag left in the holder needs to be glued in so that when you are on the last couple feet and pull it down to re-knot it, the bag stops instead of pulling completely out. It's very annoying when you tie the knot and then close it up, throw a clump of litter in, only to realize you have pulled the bag completely out of the holder. I'm sure I am not the only one who like to use the last 1-1/2 feet. Would make it better than the Genie brand and at a way better price!

Perfect Fit, So Happy I tried them!

I have the Genie cat litter pail and unfortunately after using up the sample bags that it came with I realized how expensive the refill bag cartridges cost! I decided to search around on line and was finally so happy to find a much less expensive alternative. However, after reading many reviews that said they didn’t fit I was almost convinced they wouldn’t but, I was still sort of hopefully that I could maybe some how make them fit since some reviews said they did! I guess you could say I really wanted these bags to work! Lol! So depite my gut feeling I went ahead, purchased the cartridges and OMG, I am so so glad that I did!! I have no idea what happened with those who said they didn’t fit but, as you can see in the collage of pics provided it couldn’t be a better fit! Just make sure you tie a good knot at the bottom of the bag; one good knot has worked fine for me. I’m a very Happy customer and will be back to purchase more!!! About 5mths later and still very happy with the ChoiceRefill cat litter bags! Not one mess, not one torn bag and believe me when I say with one large 22lb male cat and smaller female these bags have been tested for durability and passed! :)

Worked just like litter genie bag refills - I'm happy!

I just finished my first container of these bags, and they seem just as good as the official litter genie bags. I'm happy with them. Even though the bags appear to be in a round container, the square top held it in place in my litter genie container just fine. Worked great for me! I saw a mention of an indicator line on the last 3-4 feet of the bag to tell you when you're almost out of bags. I didn't notice this on my first pack, but I'll be sure to look for it on the next container. That would be helpful.

Great way to save money on refills for the litter genie.

I tried these because like many, I'm sick of paying for the name brand refills for the litter genie. The idea is excellent and it works, but it's expensive. These refills seem to be equivalent in bag quality, just the packaging is different. It's clear plastic rather than black, and is less substantial. No problems installing the refill, and no problems paying out more when it's time to change out the bag. This is a lot like buying off brand refills for your printer. Save a lot of money without really giving up anything. I've noticed the price on this inching up over the past month or so - make sure to compare the price for this vs. the name brand when you order.
