OH YES!!!! THEY ARE BA-A-A-CK IN STYLE!!!
Haven't worn these since the 80s when they were all the rage in sitcoms. (Michael Landon, as "Pa" on Little House on the Prairie, John Boy on The Waltons, and Grandpa Jones on Hee-Haw didn't start the craze, btw). These were worn back in the 80s because they were comfortable and were something different than the usual fashion. Even the gals wore them!! These particular suspenders are well made and fit perfectly. Snaps hold tightly and are of good quality. Black looks great with most of what I wear, but I'll be buying several different colors and styles very soon. Try a pair!!! Go ahead, be different! Be yourself!!! Free yourself from the tyranny of belts and belt loops!! Suspenders are not that expensive. You will love how easy they are to wear and how much more comfortable they make you feel. They look just as good in the office as they do outdoors!!!

The clips are strong and have teeth that grip
The clips are strong and have teeth that grip. So far none have slipped off and whipped me in the eye like the weak-gripped suspenders I wore previously.

These are great for heavy ranger pants with stuff in the pockets. Nice-looking and very comfy.
These are nice-looking, very comfortable and well-made, not to mention low-priced. They are fairly heavy duty. the overall stretch (limited stretch) is what make them comfortable even when bending over, unlike hard web heavy duty work suspenders. The grippers seem well-designed, although made from rather thin metal that might get bent in time. The gripper teeth are long enough to hold securely to the waistband of jeans or ranger pants. Got tired of constantly having to pull up my ranger pants, especially after bending over to pick up something. Those pants typically have at least 2 lb. extra stuff in those big pockets. These suspenders hold them up just fine, without too much pressure on the shoulders.

The best cheap suspenders I have ever bought
Unlike most all people who have suspenders, I use them daily. So I know all about wear and tear and usage. I am not a hobbyist or a once a year costumer, suspenders are as standard to my daily wardrobe as underwear and socks. I have bought over the past 15 years many types of cheap suspenders. This is by far the best quality I have ever seen in a suspender this cheap. The clips have a strong snap. They are wider than usual. The clips are bigger and thicker than usual. But the straps are not overly thick like a heavy duty suspender. They are still a light suspender. I wear suspenders against my skin, not over shirts, as underwear as originally intended. These are slightly more rough feeling than the usual cheap stretchy suspenders, but only ever so slightly. The difference is negligible and not a deal breaker. For the price you will not beat these. The build quality is substantially better than other cheap suspenders of similar price. I rarely write amazon reviews. For me to actually sit and write a review on something means it is a good product.

Great fashion statement at any age.
Who would have thought a simple pair of suspenders could change a life? I bought these for my 88 year old dad after listening to him talk about the red suspenders he used to have many, many years ago. The look on his face when he opened the package was priceless. He wears them daily, even to church. I even have a photo of him comparing them with one of his weekly breakfast buddies. And they actually hold his pants up better than a belt (which he continues to wear also. I don’t ask questions...). The suspenders fit well, are easy for him to put on and adjust, and are apparently comfortable for him. Here’s the photo of the comparison. My dad is the one standing.

Keeps my pants up without the restriction of a belt
I never thought I would be someone that owned or used a pair of suspenders. Those things are "old fashioned" or for "old people" after all. Well, I have to admit I'm not as young as I used to be, but I'm not old either. I am stuck behind a desk all day with no way to get decent exercise and within the last 3 or 4 years have picked up a few pounds as a result. I'm working on changing that, but in the here and now, I have to deal with it. One of the results of dealing with it is, my belt tends to bother be more than it used to. I have to tighten it more, and it digs into my waist and by the end of the day, I really can't wait to get home and get it off and get something more comfortable on. Skip forward past the point where a friend showed me that he used suspenders and I never even knew. So, I decided to give them a try. I added these on to another order from Amazon and got them just a few days ago. I got my first real opportunity to use them this weekend, and I tell ya what, I'm sad I waited so long! I absolutely love these! They are so comfortable to wear and use. They keep my pants up better than a belt, without the tightness and restriction of a belt. I had on a t-shirt, then put on the suspenders, then had a button down shirt over that (not tucked in, just casual), and you couldn't even tell I had them on. The use a special type of clip that makes them grab tight so they won't come loose, and can't come undone accidentally. I may just have to get another pair just in case something ever happens to these. Bottom line, if you need to keep your pants up and haven't tried suspenders, you simply have to try them. For this price, if you don't like them, you really haven't spent much anyway.

They Hold Up perfectly.
I read through the reviews when I was ordering. I had worried a little about the number of posts that the suspenders were too short. I'm 5'11" and weighing in at 370 lbs. I carry a lot of that weight in my belly. The el cheapo suspenders I got at a big block retailer were stretched to their limits, and every time I bent down to pick something up, the back clips would come off and fly over my head. I had seen Dickies at the same store, but only the ones that hooked up to the belt. My large belly puts much stress on belts, that's why I wanted to find suspenders, so that wasn't an option. I got these. Fears be quelled. The adjusters work just like it states in the Amazon description. Pull them up (though you might have to move them back if they are catching in the fabric) and slide to the new position, then lock down, and push the back bar flat. As for those "too small" reviews. Nonsense. The size marked is 1S (for One Size, duh). And I have about 8 inches to go on mine before they max out in length. So maybe if you are 6'7" and over 450 lbs, you "might" have an issue. Otherwise no. The clips grab well. I have not had them come off my pants or shorts unless *I* wanted to remove them. And that includes $60 in quarters (I hate laundry day.) They hold my pants up. They stay attached. They a great pair of suspenders for anyone who wants suspenders to hold their pants up. I've been rocking these guys for a month now. I'm one very satisfied customer. Thanks for listening to my review. I stated a lot of personal information because I want to be clear that I'm really putting these things through a test. And yes, I am currently working on loosing weight, and doing a good job. These suspenders make it easier to walk when I know my pants are going to stay up. :)

solution!
i am a thin man, lacking hips/ass and wear heavy-duty, double-knee carhartt pants. i work on a farm, and often have knives, weeding tools, sharpening file, or any number of hand tools in my pockets. all of these items weigh down my pants, and my belt has to be cinched really, really tight to keep my pants up...and they still slip down! i don't know how/why it took me 32 years to figure this out, but these suspenders absolutely do the job. i am tall-ish (6'1") and it seems they would work for somebody even an inch or two taller than me. these suspenders feel well-made, and for $12 shipped, have provided a great solution for a problem that has plagued me for years! highly recommended.

Functional and comfortable
A little bit of context: I'm female and belts have never worked well for me. I've tried wearing them tighter and looser, but no matter what I end up with the same problem--my pants stay up where the belt goes through the loops, but the area of the waistband between them falls after an hour of walking anywhere. I'd joked about getting suspenders in the past, but never did because not a lot of women wear them. Call me shallow, but I didn't think they'd go with my fashion style. I finally decided function needed to be put before form--I'm thirty now and have been dealing with this for at least a decade. I also don't care about fashion as much as I used to, so whatever. Suspenders. I wish I could go back in time and shake twenty-ear-old-me by the shoulders, because I should have gotten these years ago! I don't have any issues with my pants slipping, even on the sides where there aren't any clips. I thought I would have a problem with my chest, because it's rather large, but the straps fit comfortably either on the outside of my breasts or straight down over them. Either way, they still work great at keeping my pants from slipping. And as far as fashion goes, they're barely noticeable if I put a thick or dark enough top on over them. With thinner fabric you can see them because they're black, but I'm sure I can remedy that by layering a camisole underneath. Plus, wearing them over a shirt kind of gives me a nostalgic feeling to my high school days, when those Hot Topic non-functional suspenders hanging off the pants were all the rage. I can't believe we kept tripping over that junk when we could have been wearing them for real! Teenagers. I highly recommend these to anyone who has trouble keeping their pants up! I'll definitely be buying another set in a lighter color, to see if that's less noticeable under thinner fabric.

Used for Wedding and Loved!
I bought three pairs of these suspenders for a wedding. They were great quality and great price. The best part was that they are adjustable, I did not have to worry about different sizes for three different people. The bride and groom were happy I helped find these accessories. The suspenders shipped promptly and were packaged well. I would definitely buy or reccomend this brand
