Super bright, strong magnets!

As a volunteer firefighter, I've only used the LED suction cups blue light and traffic sometimes did move over. Living in Western NY it would come off when the weather changed from winter to spring...back to winter (weather has been ridiculous here lately). Anyway, I got this very quickly, centered on my roof and was pleasantly surprised how strong the magnets are. I then decided to test the light...bad idea. I saw blue dots for 5 minutes. This is super bright!!! I have driven up to 65 MPH and it didn't budge. I thought I would be disappointed because I was looking for a 24" - 30" LED bar...I was not! I didn't get a chance to use it (on a call) until this morning at 3am (was on vacation). We have had ice storms and now its raining none stop. There is no clouding of the lens, no water getting in the lens or an issues with the light. Traffic DEFINITELY can see me coming now. I would highly recommend this over the suction cup/dash LED. This is a must for me, especially since the wifey said if I drilled any holes in the roof, my head would match. Packaging is perfect, cord is way long enough. Has 2 toggles switches on the plug. One lights up red to let you know its on. The other toggle controls the 7 different light patterns. Would I buy this again...ABSOLUTELY.

Nicely Done

Pros: much brighter than the competition at this price! I believe the others only offer 18watts in this price range. 18 Watts may be fine for night but too dim for daylight hours IMO. Comes with (2) magnet/ suction cup mounts which held great in my Security vehicle up to speeds of 45-50 mph with no issues. Extra long cord with nice rubber flexible feeling. Cool switch on the 12 adaptor end that has two functions. One is a lighted on/off function and the other is a momentary rocker switch to advance through the other modes. (16) in reality as they consider “off” a mode. Also maintains last rememberance mode which is nice when turned off! Cons: not large (they offer a larger version for $100) so may be smaller than many would like but standard in size at this price range. Only have used for a week so longetivity cannot be commented on. I have had other similar type of lights and this light seems to be well built in my opinion. Some reviewers mention it doesn’t hold up in a 4x4 environment? Duh! What does hold up in a 4x4 off-road environment for $40? If it gave you 4-6 months in a punishing environment, this price is a steal for the sheer brightness of the light! Used for a week on hot summer days. Should be water resistant obviously but I cannot comment on that. Summary: best light I have purchased in a few years for the amount of brightness it puts out, the quality materials used and overall great price!

extremely bright & much more visible compared to other light bars in this category

Bright, easy to use, strong magnets - much brighter than other LED light bars I've purchased in this category, well worth the extra money, and still only a fraction of the cost of a professional (Whelen) lightbar. However, I'd estimate its about half as bright as a Whelen. Overall it is great for night time visibility & suitable for general daytime use, but when it comes to emergency / first responder applications in bright sunlight & on high speed roadways, nothing beats a Whelen.

Awesome bright and tough light

These units works awesome, i mounted them on a fleet of Polaris rangers I use for snow removal. Units been going strong all winter and would and will buy again. Their tough, weather proof, extemely bright and keep the employees/machines safe while performing their snow removal duties. You can't beat the quality and especially the price. These things are easily $100+ units but you pay a quarter if that.

For My Tractor/Snowblower

I purchased2 of these strobes and I am more than pleased with the quality of them. The strobes are EXTREMELY BRIGHT with multiple variations/patterns of blinking. The magnets are EXTREMELY STRONG.-One is on the hood/one on the rear of my tractor and i NEVER had a problem. The wires are SUPER STRONG/LONG/FLEXIBLE-unlike the curly old-school telephone wires, These are THICK and FLEXIBLE (Even in 50 degrees BELOW ZERO in WISCONSIN) If your looking for a GREAT STROBE LIGHT....STOP LOOKING-THIS IS THE ONE. I LOVE THEM! (I could have sent 1 back bc 1 was truly enough...but 2 IS ALWAYS BETTER! My neighbors LOVE THEM *well except 1 who is epileptic...Yes, I am kidding)

Very bright bright with great patterns, really too small for a truck.

This little sucker is BRIGHT! I am using it right now while working a road job. While sitting under this overpass it is bright enough it illuminates the entire area. I have used it during the day and it was still very bright and got the traffic's attention. I have received several compliments on it from other officers. The only draw back is the light is small and in my Dodge 2500 with the way the roof slants you can only see it from either the front or the rear but not so much so from both unless you are far enough away. I will by a larger light bar next time for the truck, but this should work well for car that sits lower.

Even from almost 100 feet away it was like starring at the sun

I am the safety manager for a company in the upper Midwest. I picked this up for a plow truck here at work in Wisconsin, and WOW. Even in the 100x100 shop the truck was parked in with the shop lights on we had to look away. This is brighter than some of the lights on apparatus at the fire department I am a part of. Most definitely worth the money and then some. Can't wait to see this used on a plow job. By the way, when you get one (because you really should) do yourself a favor and don't look directly at the light. Even from almost 100 feet away it was like starring at the sun. Great product. I will try to get a video up of this soon.

Can not beat it for the price!!!

I even let it sit out in 12 degree and below weather with icy rain and sleet. It worked with no problems and kept going all night. It is very bright the other cars saw it clear as day. The magnets are VERY STRONG, the rubber cover prevented the magnets from scratching my cab. The wire was plenty long enough to reach to the inside of the cab through the back sliding window. Very easy to set up. Many settings and a on/off switch. 100% recommend you can't beat it for the price!!!
