Best primary springer.

This is the best all around springer that you can get. Compact, powerful, accurate and modular, it's hands down my favorite blaster for both indoor and outdoor play. I opted for the Worker stock and 3d printed acog over the available Mediator attachments to make it fit my needs and it has been a pleasure to shoot. The pistol grip pump action allows me to (almost) keep up with the rate of fire that my son's tricked out Modulus rains down on me in our battles while still being very compact for maneuverability indoors, unlike the Accutrooper, Delta Trooper, etc. Throw in the fact that I was able to pick up the core blaster for only $10 and you can see why this is my go-to Nerf gun.

A clear winner for a ton of reasons!

Ironically my wife and I purchased the same guns for the kids- hers she picked the frustration free packaging- I had no idea what was in the boxes- and I picked the retail box so the kids could know what was in the Christmas present when they opened it. The fact that we picked the same guns was due to the fact that we both know Nerf gun value. These guns are spot on. Why? First off the Modulus line allows you to interchange different weapons and weapon parts. The side load magazine the kids took right off and installed a drum from another gun and the fit is spot on. These also have the rails on the top that allow you to install other options that use the rails as a mounting point for things like infrared sights. Limitless options for what you can do with these, especially if you have other Modulus weapons that all interconnect by design. And last, compare these to other Nerf weapons of the same size- there is a ton of value here. I like the style- the color scheme is very cool and different to the other guns in our collection. Would certainly purchase again!

I own almost every slam fire nerf gun and this one is the best. It does have one problem though, because the pump is so close to the grip firing above 150-180 rpm greatly reduced accuracy. But if your rushing and need fast fire rate, this is the equivalent of a mac-10 or mini Uzi.

A pistol-sized Rampage.

This is the size of the retaliator core blaster but it has all the functionality of the Rampage blaster, namely slam-fire. shoots pretty hard and hasn't jammed on me yet. It does have a sideways magazine slot like the Rampage. It tends to get in my way as a right handed user. However, it's a very function-first super compact blaster, so I am ok with this trade off.

Holds up and very satisfying to shoot!

So far my kids favorite base model for their modulus gear. The pump action is satisfying and efficient. Empties the clip in seconds. So far no problems with jamming, except one memorable evening when a torn dart was used (against parental advice). It was stuck in there really good. Couldn't cycle the action at all. I thought we were stuck with a useless piece of plastic, but my 11 year old son was able to take apart the whole gun, remove the offending dart, and reassemble it. Works perfectly.

Great for stress relief.

I use mine to shoot my darts at my bedroom door when I am frusterated with my roommates, which is quite often. They do make a little noise hitting the door. Need brighter colors. Hard to find in my room. I look forward to my grandsons coming up so we can play. I am 60 and even I think this is a great toy.

Son loves this thing

My son had patiently been waiting of the item to arrive and when it did it was like Christmas in May. The product is pretty durable as my 9 yr old can be ruff on toys and its survived a few weeks without signs of wear. He's already asking for more clips/ammo to make the Nerf battles more fun.

Great starter nerf gun.

I initially bought this and the more expensive regulator. The mediator was by far the better of the two. I have since purchased 3 more so the kids friends can play. While the base price point is good, you can find it on sale for less than $8, which makes it a great starter gun for the modulus line.

Good Quality - Poor Design

I bought this blaster to take apart and reverse engineer, not to shoot. Everything was great about the product itself. My only complaints were with the design itself, not the construction. It shoots fine. It has decent power just under the elite series. It hasn't jammed on me so far. It's just a weird design with the magazine on the side and the ratchet pump which you have to fully move forward before moving back, and its somewhat hard to tell when you've done that. I took it apart, and its well made, though there is silicone grease everywhere. It was exactly what I was expecting and what I was wanting for my purposes, so 5/5. If I were wanting a real blaster to play with, though, I would definitely buy something else.

Extremely giftable!!! Every boy would just Love 1 of these with a few extra Darts as a Birthday present. I bought 4 Around Christmas. You won't be Disappointed.
