came in the the original box, inside an amazon box, so it wasn't damaged. came with all the parts and was easy to build. it also came on time (a little bit a head of original date). one of the best Lego sets iv bought on amazon.

Well worth the money

I loved the whole thing. You can't beat the price. I bought this kit and many others for my Grandchildren. Their interest for the moment strayed and I was putting the unbuilt kits together for charity and low and behold I started to put some together and at the age of 70 I discovered I loved building them. When I built this kit, Ifound it tobe both fun to build and it made a very nice display. At this price I would order 2 and keep one to give as a gift.

Nephew Loved It

Got the semi truck for my nephew who turned 7. He loooooves him some legos. He had it put all together in about an hour or two. He said it was missing a piece on the trailer but I don't know if it was actually missing or if he just lost it while putting it together. Doesn't matter tho, he had a whole tub with the same pieces. Just watching him follow the directions and put it together was worth the price :)

My 4 year old LOVES IT. And it's BEAUTIFUL.

This set comes in 4 digestible project bags, 1-4. Bags 1 and 2 get the front truck completed (which is awesome, aesthetic, and structurally sound...and a more than satisfactory project in it's own right and deserving of 5 stars, at this price). The second two bags, the rest, including the helicopter...also very cool. The finished product looks amazing, and my 4 year old sat through the entirety of construction in two parts, putting each piece together (with a little assistance), and then immediately asked to do another "Lego City" project. The instructions are amazingly unambiguous, and simple. In about 2 hours, he learned to follow procedure/instructions, the importance of grit and sticking with it and completing a task, and it all seemed to refine his fine motor skills (by fitting and attaching each piece)... and the best part is, it's fun and he had no clue he was learning.

Perfect activity for mom/son bonding.

I love Legos because my kid loves to play with them (he is four and his micro motor skills aren't ready for full assembly) and I find the assembly process really therapeutic. This set was awesome! The only issue I have is with the coffee cup because it pops off easily and in order to stick it back on, pieces of the the truck have to come off. I convinced my son that the workers needed to take their coffee out while working on the trailer, and we are good to go.

Great for 12 year olds

I bought this for my 12 year old for his birthday. He loved it! It took him an afternoon to put it together and had hours of fun playing with it. It came in a brightly colored box as shown and was well packaged inside. No missing pieces, it actually had a few extras. The instructions were well written and illustrated and easy for him to follow. The helicopter fits perfectly on the back of the semi. The LEGO men that are included are well made. The semi is well build and so is the helicopter. The colors chosen for the set are perfect and bright. The legos all fit together perfectly and do not have any blemishes.

Really cool - best lego set yet

This is one of the best lego sets we have. My son is crazy about this and his sister has started playing with it too. I was really impressed with the level of detail between the truck and the helicopter. Great ninth birthday present and a very good value for the price.

Even you can put this toy together

My grandson received all a on report card. I let him pick cash or amazon and he picked amazon. He selected this. I never can help him with putting together toys like this but I started reading the directions and could understand it. I wish all items had this type directions. He was very pleased with the results as was the whole family. I find it helps for him to pick out what he wants since he is always pleased. Love the whole results

Great truck, articulating trailer and helicopter, tremendous play value for the money!

One of the best Lego truck/trailer sets I have built! Lego designers are amazing, this set has tremendous play value, so well designed it will withstand all the play without coming apart. The trailer design with the articulating hitch is excellent, helicopter is perfect fit for trailer, helicopter rails are designed to set over nubs on trailer to stay in place. The helicopter is also perfect size for kids to play with, not too big, bulky. Easy lift cockpit windshield. Another plus with most newer sets from Lego, the boxes are big enough to hold the assembled components when completed, makes it easy to stow away when not being played with. Lego continues to up their game, in my opinion, still the best value in toys! OK, if you have read this far, I have a shopping tip for you. I save a lot of money by buying Lego items from Amazon Warehouse Deals (AWD). If you have any experience with Lego, you know it is almost impossible to break Lego blocks. All of the Lego items listed under AWD simply have damaged boxes, from negligible to significant crush, sometimes pierced. All items are inspected by Amazon, holes are taped over, etc. If you don't care about the box, have no intention of reselling, check it out! One note of caution, just because a Lego item is listed under AWD, it is not always the lowest price, so check first!
